I highly recommend giving it 30 days; keep trying and be attentive to what is happening. It takes 30 days of consistency to get a real feel for it. If you still have issues with it, which you will, you'll start to see patterns in where it's good and bad. In 12.3.6 I was able to predict it's behavior after 2 weeks of driving.
It will continue to accelerate and not stop. When you drive in fsd sometimes you hit a goofy bug with speed limits and the car will not go past 35mph on a 60 so you have to press the accelerator to get to speed you want but you will see a message that says “cruise control will not stop or slow down”
