Steven Wilson. FYI, he is touring his new album The Overview and making a stop in T.O. in September. One half of the gig will be presenting the album which consists of two progressive songs of 22 and 18 minutes with a commissioned film screened behind the band. I'm thinking Dark Side of the Moon 2025. Re the Doors, LA Woman is my favourite of theirs. And Stevie Ray Vaughn...he saved the 80s for me.😢
I'm pretty sure the re-release of Supertramp's "Paris" album, is the full concert from the show they filmed. Which was already released as a 2 CD/ DVD set back in 2015. I think it's same content as the 2 CD's in that package. It's a great concert, by the way.
Sorry for going off subject but I was recently playing some Thomas Dolby and couldn’t remember you or Larry ever having mentioned him. Bowie was a big fan and had him in the band for some live performances. ‘Retrospectacle’ a best of compilation (not to be confused with the Supertramp comp.) is going quite cheap on cd. You could do worse than to pick up a copy. I doubt you’d be disappointed.
Hey Glen! About 90% of the Paris concert is from one show. 'HCE' is a must have! SRV fantastic! Only saw him once, and that was with Greg Allman. I'll take a pass on the other 2 you showed. Cheers!
GLEN you are RIGHT RIGHT I am sure you are right, Doors INDIAN SUMMER
Thanks for the confirmation
Don't have Paris here, but Wikipedia says: most of the tracks taken from a 29 November 1979 show.
It's Family Style, more like Terrible Style 😅
Ouch
Supertramp were such a great band! I agree about the Steven Wilson album, one of the best prog albums ever.
Yea and yes👍👍
Very envious that you saw SRV!
Yeah..he was awesome..
Another great video! Cheers mate
Thank you so much

I am anxiously awaiting the new album..didn’t like the last two that much..
The majority of the songs on Paris were from the same show. A few of them were from a different show in Paris.. I love this lp..
Thanks..Me too..top five live album for me..
Glen, I try think you’d really enjoy The Doors Morrison Hotel It’s pretty bluesy so you’ll probably enjoy it It’s my favorite Doors recording

I know the name but I have never heard a note of his music..thanks for the suggestion..
Hey Glen. You really need to pick up a copy of The Doors: Absolutely Live.
Yes..I need that one..
Foxtrot is an awesome record. Supper's Ready is at least 99% of a perfect song if not a fully perfect song.
Totally agree
