Looking at those who responded to your two fabric options, it seems the majority preferred option B. Thinking as a designer, I'd go for option A with the green. There's no contrast in the room in terms of color. The panels and panel borders are the same shade. A floral of smaller print in a shade so similar to the panels and panel borders simply fades into the same blandness. You need variation in color, texture, and pattern to emphasize the room's strengths and features, not sameness. And don't forget Charlie's preferences. Male and female tastes can be accommodated in the same space and room with skill, patience, and love.

I vote option B, the more neutral colored fabric because it will suit all seasons, whereas the green and pink one shouts spring/summer and may look off in autumn/winter
I'm chiming in on the bedroom fabric it's B. I think a monochromatic look is beautiful and soothing as well. You might also find its better because of the layering and texture adding you'll be able to do. Best wishes xoxo

Option A for sure. the pop of green with the different shades of pink with add contrast to the room. B is too similar and nothing that really impressive. :)

I prefer option A for the pink bedroom. I really love how it looks with the contrast of the pink and green whilst still be very classy and neutral.

Both fabrics are beautiful, i think it depends on the furniture you'll be putting in that room and what you're doing for curtains? But i think Fabric B is slightly more timeless. Amazing Reformation dresses!
I’m for option B. I think it will give you more options for switching decor/cushions in the future. You could always make cushions from the busier print.

Gotta have SOME contrast in the room. But if not the headboard then perhaps chairs.
Option B on the fabric. You can always add some pillows for more pop if you like. And you should definitely keep both dresses - both are stunning on you!
Option B is more subtle if you want to use room for trying on outfits, you will have a beautiful background with both. Nice choices.
The option A would be a great statement piece. I also love the green with pink walls. It definitely will brighten the room more.

Totally aside from your fantastic blogging, thank you so much Josie, it has been a lifesaver during lockdown. Anyway, has anyone else noticed how adorable Charlie is when chatting with Josie. What a lovely man, if Josie wants something he nearly always acquiesces to her wishes, even if he has another preference. So charming, and the coffee with the love heart attempt, melted my heart. They may not be touchy- feely on camera but his acts of service show his love. Such a lovely young gentleman.
Option A has my heart, it's so pretty. Itd be like sleeping in a garden.

Hi Josie...just a thought...keeping major furniture items in a neutral color fabric gives you more color and print options in your other fabrics.... such as decorative pillows, draperies, comforters, bed linens and even lamp shades. More cost effective as well when you need a fabric change or like to change said items during different seasons or even holiday decorating. Again just a thought.👍😘💒
I'd opt for option B! It looks more timeless and I think it will suit the style and color scheme of your home the best. Plus, it looks like that fabric would look nice in every season!

Option A for the fabric choice! I have the same fabric in my bedroom... custom made curtains, dust ruffle and pillow shams. It is fabulous. So many options for complementary colors in the room. Also it is TIMELESS. Never goes out of style!

I would use cushions with floral fabric ‘B’ , not the headboard , since one could swap out the cushions for the fall and winter . The more ‘Neutral’ pink/blush fabric, ‘A’ is also beautiful and more accommodating and suits the major piece in the room . Otherwise one restricts oneself to the floral design for the rest of the room, unless you intentionally want to do so. I envision gold and cream colours for the holiday season !

I've fallen in love with the first sample the beautiful pink flower with the different colours of green foliage.. I think will look really stunning and definitely not old fashioned x the salad box is amazing, nothing like fresh salads.

Both fabrics are beautiful, but for the headboard, I would choose option B. It’s so serene and elegant.
Let me begin by noting that I was trained in the theatre. That's why, when speculatively weighing which of the two floral patterns I would recommend for the guest room headboard, I realized it was impossible. Yes, both are well-chosen and beautifully coordinated with the room color, but we're not choosing the patterns for the wall. The dynamic to consider is that of the floral pattern and the bed frame. Let's say the bed frame for that guest room was as intricately carved, had as much movement in its lines, was as deeply embedded in a cultural history and long-gone elegance as your French antique bed in the master bedroom. Would you have chosen either of those floral patterns for that bed frame? I'd argue, no. Because the dynamic, the movement, the statement of a bed frame like that is dominant. You put a floral (which has its own dynamic and movement) within a frame like that, the eye doesn't know where to go. Visual combat. Now I know that Victorian homes and even early to mid- 20th C homes often had wall paper and furniture patterns that often clashed. Some folks thought that was homey. Never liked it. Because I was trained in the theatre, a visual and dynamic world, I always seek visual clarity and consistency. What is the overall visual narrative of the room or, if you prefer, the character of the room? What does it tell you about the people who live there? So, to make a long story longer, I couldn't pick between the two floral choices because I haven't seen the bed frame. The larger, more vibrant floral would probably work really well covering an entire padded headboard that had a scalloped edge, say. It's a dominant floral and could have a lot of focal interest. Option B is far more subtle and interesting. It draws and holds your attention but doesn't demand it. I rather think, for what it's worth, that Option B is closer to reflecting you .Why am I going on? I apologize. You really do get involved in these vlogs … like you're part of an adventure that, in fact, has nothing to do with you. Don't block me. I'm harmless!

In my opinion, I really think that the Option-B fabric for your guest room, will outlive the Option-A fabric over time. Option-B creates a wonderfully relaxed environment, as the colors and print in the fabric, still shine as a classic print in which you can add other companion prints to, in the way of throw pillows, or an upholstered covered chair cushion, ottoman, or footstool, etc.
When committing to a headboard, I would keep it subtle and classic. You can always change-out the companion print throw pillows, window dressing, etc., throughout the seasons or years as desired. With that being said, whatever you personally like the most, is what counts in the end. Have fun with all of your projects. I know I am loving everything you and Charlie are creating, as you are respecting the history of your forever home. May God continue to bless you both!
Great video. I prefer the plainer floral fabric for headboard and you could always use bolder fabrics for cushions and accessories because they are easier to change if you want to alter the look of the room, than the headboard would be to change.
Definitely option B as I think I t’s more subtle and will give you more freedom in your choice of cushion covers.

Love option B for the pink room headboard. Then you can use some of the other fabric for pillows maybe a chair in the same room. So fun!!
When I was small I remember my grandmother had a little ash pan and broom that she used on the tablecloth after the main course and before pudding (if we children had been a little messy). I loved it and I think you will probably find it handy when you are back to having family and friends visit for weekend lunches, gets rid of all those crumbs! Your own restaurant version.

All the fabrics are beautiful but, yes you're right, the Sanderson pink rose with the green leaves is a winner! You can always use other pale floral in cushions.. and while you were twirling around with the samples the H & M dress looked beautiful.. the other two dresses looked lovely. Charlie's office is also going to look pretty special… great green. I'm sure you were both very excited to show friends around your beautiful home for the first time . ❤️
Option B - elegant, subtle and a calming frame for a snuggly bed in a boudoir style viewing a wonderful fireplace.
I also got the H&M dress - indeed twice, one the same color as yours and the second one in another floral print I like even more than the first one 🤗 soo comfy!

B!!! ❤️ It will be much more visually pleasing on a larger scale and has a classier, more beautiful and elegant vintage feel. I think A will be visually overwhelming when multiplied to cover a head board and will end up looking like nan’s old couch. B is perfect!! 💕
BBBBBBBBBB YES B, please!.😊... subtle yet elegant and allows you to use many other fabrics(samples you have) for throw pillows ,bolsters,chairs,etc. You will not tire of fabric too quickly.
I think option A for a bit more statement, option B will be a bit more subtle with the walls, if you ever decide to change the colors :) I love the A print.

Option A. The other option while pretty would look washed out against the walls, and is a bit bland in my opinion.

I think the first fabric swatch would be gorgeous, elegant and allow for more options in bedding, carpet and curtains. The big floral, whilst lovely, will be too overwhelming, and I think you might tire of it sooner than later.

Love the damask shell pink and linen pattern for reupholstering the arm chair. Not a fan of the floral pattern but the second pink design is beautiful for the pink room.

The floral fabric with green is in my opinion the most suitable, it makes it easier to play with the rest of the decor since it has more colours and also brings something fresh to the room...
I think fabric B for the bed and A for a beautiful french inspired chair. Fabric B will blend in with the wall and then you will just have this pop of pink that will give the room a lovely vintage feel.
Option B reminds me my bedroom old days wallpaper, which was so relaxing and beautiful with good vibes.
