Josie has an unproductive day: up at 7am, works out, makes brekkie for builder chaps, discovers leak, fixes leak, organizes linen closet, washes huge sheet set, organizes dressing table, makes risotto for lunch, installs security cameras, runs out for sweet treats, looks gorgeous the whole time, plays with doggies, uploads videos, it‘s about 5pm. 💕
I have the same magnetic wooden knife holder and I have already dropped a knife that - thank goodness - fell right next to my toes on our wooden floor (I was wearing Birkenstocks).. maybe you can move the dog beds somewhere else ‘cause there only has to be one moment you don’t pay attention when grabbing a knife to accidentally drop it and if you’re unlucky they might get hurt 💔 just trying to help as I know how quick accidents happen

I live in an old house and it took a long time before I could sleep in the master bedroom- but I think I was being an idiot. I finally started sleeping in the master bedroom when I realised my dog was happy sleeping there and preferred that room. Dogs are sensitive to vibes aren’t they? If they’re happy then it should be okay. PS. I agree with an earlier comment someone made about the magnetic knife holder on the wall. That gave me extremely bad vibes seeing how close that was to the dogs’ beds. Please, please, please ensure the dogs are not below when those knives are being removed or replaced there. 🙏🏻
Please Charlie, move those knives away from that wall. They’re exactly above your furry children, if there’s an unfortunate accident, they’ll drop directly on the boys. Or move their beds away from that corner. Either closer to the window or to the Aga.

Washing new garments/linens etc eliminates any 'finishing' used by the production Company in preparation of the fabrics...something like bleach or other chemical processes...always best to wash things and get rid of any residual cr*p left behind.

You know, the dogs are so sweet but even though they arr small and flufy they are not toys...and I think it would be nice to respect the fact that the dogs sometimes just likes to rest and not be disturbed. You might want to have a thorough inspection of Charlie's office and anything above, it is very concerning that a non-top floor shows a leak, there is water running somewhere, and it won't fix itself overnight, having been it that situation, you want to take action before it damages the structure.

Josie - please be careful. Your dog was growling and he may have been in some pain and did not like to be moved. My dog bit my hand quite badly on a walk recently and so I am just warning you to be careful with your face and hands. A dog can be unpredictable and I would not want to see you hurt. I have a scar now on my hand and thankfully it was not on my face. Your dogs are adorable but still be careful.

They only stick on the wall and would not damage anything as they are removable.

He was sleeping on the sofa and my husband came to cuddle him and he just launched himself at his face and bit him. And he was the sweetest boy too. Gutter blockages occur in all houses regardless of the age of the house. The best way to prevent it is regular gutter cleaning. It’s a pain to do but so much better than having water come into your house. Your house is very beautiful and I enjoy watching your house projects.

Something to consider before you change the master bath fittings - brass is MUCH higher maintenance than chrome.

My dog bit my hand quite badly on a walk recently and so I am just warning you to be careful with your face and hands. A dog can be unpredictable and I would not want to see you hurt. I have a scar now on my hand and thankfully it was not on my face. Your dogs are adorable but still be careful.

Josie - thinking that the knife holder - maybe the knives should face the other way towards the beam ,,, also hopefully there.s no chance of them falling off,,, the dogs beds is right in that area and if it does fall it could land on their bed. something to think about. The house is looking so awesome. Love your closet spaces. Like Charlie's idea about the mirror. Maybe you could use those stick on holders that you hang pictures with. They only stick on the wall and would not damage anything as they are removable.

According to feng shui mirrors shouldn’t be facing the staircase. Placing the mirror reflecting the staircase only doubles the unsettling and ungrounding energy of the staircase. Actually, be careful Josie. I know they are the sweetest boys but they could still bite you. I had a doggie do precisely that in a similar scenario. He was sleeping on the sofa and my husband came to cuddle him and he just launched himself at his face and bit him. And he was the sweetest boy too. And talking about Dickie, I noticed that his bed is directly under those wicked looking knives 🔪 on the magnetic block. I just shiver thinking about one of those knives falling on him 😬. I’m glad the leak appears to be just a clogged gutter and nothing more serious 😅

Gutter blockages occur in all houses regardless of the age of the house. The best way to prevent it is regular gutter cleaning. It’s a pain to do but so much better than having water come into your house. Your house is very beautiful and I enjoy watching your house projects.
