That's why I'd hate a big house, bigger than your needs. If Charlie goes away for the night I'd feel bloomin petrified. It's bit spooky, lots of empty rooms and with noone else there.
Did anyone see Gemma Louise Mile's video yesterday? Her house was broken into and she thinks it was a targeted event because it's so easy to find out where she lives and even the exact location of her luxury items from UA-cam. Thankfully her neighbours phoned the police before anything was taken! Really quite frightening, please be careful Josie!
@@lucybonomo2606 me too Lucy 😁 my childhood homes were big with cellars and attics etc, with lots of unused rooms. Now I only ever want a small cosy place otherwise you have to check every room etc at night or you don't even know if someone broke in and is hiding etc when you're there all alone.
We've got 3 dachshunds; 2 of them have had emergency IVDD surgery. Keep 5k (per dog) in the bank ready to go in the event you need it, and never ever let them jump off the furniture. Having a specialist in your town is great peace of mind.
You've no idea how much we enjoy watching two good people spread joy and love online. And doggies! This house will be a life long follower. Thank you muchly!

I personally prefer holders where you just slide the rolls on - I can't do fine work of threading things, like with the more standard ones. Now there's an odd random fact ;) P.S. i would think it would be hard for a man to have a vision of where it should go, as they are not as frequent users as we women! ..................... My goodness! that IS the world's smallest bathroom! I thought the one in my old apt - where I sat on the toilet and my knees grazed the tub - was small - you beat me ;)

Oh yes that's the content I really love to watch - household stuff, shopping at the farmers, gardening things, let's say home stuff - don't know why, but watching someone doing household stuff is really satisfying - and oh yes Josie I love washing machines as well, especially new ones :)
Love the video! 1 small tip: towels NEED 60C every time and even 90 once in a blue moon, against mold build up and to sterilise them as even after a shower or bath you will dry off all your nooks and crannies 😉 The smart machine choose 40C. Thats not high enough for towels & undies, kitchenware, bedding etc. Yes it may take longer and use more water but you don't want bacterial or mold issues on your skin from towels, undies or bedlinnen. Just a heads up 🙂
I pretty much do a cold wash for everything and have no problems at all. I think this used to be the advice in the old days when only powered detergents were available and needed hot water to dissolve them. Modern detergents are designed to clean thoroughly in a cold wash.

One little tip I have learned with washing machines.. order a second drum seal. No matter how good your machine front loaders get a lot of grime caught in the seal. It’s easy to change the seal. Once every 12-18 months!
We always say, the ice cream van has arrived when the washer plays its tune at the end of the cycle. The little door comes in really useful more often than you would imagine😁

I agree with the first two toilet paper roll holder placements you mentioned. When placing the toilet paper roll holder, I think you want to pull towards the closed side (not the side where you put on the roll) so that you are not pulling off the roll every time you get toilet paper (you have something to pull against).
Hey josie, I'm not an expert at all but I was taught to keep my back straight when using the rower, and you pull it towards your sternum and I noticed you lean back when you do it

Couldn’t be more gorgeous! Toilet roll holders are just a part of getting your home to function properly. I didn’t think it odd for you to share at all. If you find you’re not vibing with all the toilet roll holder placement, I have an awkward bathroom situation and a toilet roll stand can work well for weird spaces. Plus it’s portable and can go wherever you or a guest might need it. It might be something you like if you don’t want to contort behind you, or for guest restrooms if elderly guests aren’t as agile. Just an idea/option. I couldn’t be happier your washer finally arrived! However, I see many days of laundry in your near future, so sorry about that! It won’t be nearly as bad because you have a new toy and will get to read all about the many, newfangled options! Another enjoyable vlog! 😊😁
I have the same laundry machine and I had the same reaction of that end tune. I even had to do a voice memo in WhatsApp to my family I laughed so much! Really didnt expect it. But its indeed a really good machine, I especially love that if you forgot something you can still add it while it's already washing.

I have been washing mostly on 40° for years, never had any mold ever, nor are we hardly ever sick.

I agree with the first two toilet paper roll holder placements you mentioned. When placing the toilet paper roll holder, I think you want to pull towards the closed side (not the side where you put on the roll) so that you are not pulling off the roll every time you get toilet paper (you have something to pull against).
Hey josie, I'm not an expert at all but I was taught to keep my back straight when using the rower, and you pull it towards your sternum and I noticed you lean back when you do it

Toilet roll holders are just a part of getting your home to function properly. I didn’t think it odd for you to share at all. If you find you’re not vibing with all the toilet roll holder placement, I have an awkward bathroom situation and a toilet roll stand can work well for weird spaces. Plus it’s portable and can go wherever you or a guest might need it. It might be something you like if you don’t want to contort behind you, or for guest restrooms if elderly guests aren’t as agile. Just an idea/option. I couldn’t be happier your washer finally arrived! However, I see many days of laundry in your near future, so sorry about that! It won’t be nearly as bad because you have a new toy and will get to read all about the many, newfangled options! Another enjoyable vlog! 😊😁
Probably a really silly question but do you not throw your stuff in a dryer after washing? How do you dry towels and heavy things?

I have the same laundry machine and I had the same reaction of that end tune. I even had to do a voice memo in WhatsApp to my family I laughed so much! Really didnt expect it. But its indeed a really good machine, I especially love that if you forgot something you can still add it while it's already washing.
