  • How To Do A Perfect Nail Foil Transfer
In this video I will share 3 secrets to do a perfect nail foil transfer.
First step: You have to choose a background color to blend with the main color of nail foil. For example: if the foil transfer is brown, we need to do the BROWN background. Just in case, we miss small spot, the nail still look perfect.
Second step: You need to use the NON CLEAN top coat for 60 seconds. The reason is to make the STICKY base gel transfer stay better, so the nail foil will stick better.
Third step: Don't over cook the STICKY base. I use 20 seconds for the best result.
Follow these steps and you will get a perfect nail foil transfer.
If you have questions, please share and comment. I'll try to get you back as soon as I can.

-start with a nail background similar in color to match foil being used.
    1. Evenly apply No wipe gel top coat and cure for 60 seconds
    2. Evenly apply foil gel base/foil glue and cure for 20 seconds
    3. Apply the foil to the nail and lightly rub foil with finger all over the nail. After foil is pressed completely over nail, remove foil and apply top gel coat, cure for 60 seconds
For those of you who are like me and needed to see the steps while doing it lol this is what she said 😊
Yasss this was the best yet! Thank you Lucky nail supply

You're amazing ♥️ I don't cut my foils either, it feels wasteful. I just love all your tips. When I UV my foil glue I gently rock my finger from side to side for 20 seconds, assuring perfect curing 😊 the only products I use as far as glue and UV lamp would be from Makarrt, the small lamp works best for beginners. I can't wait to keep doing foil nail sets. Thank you for sharing!

I’ve tried a foil transfer gel (cured for 30s and 60s) and base coat (cured for 60s) but the foil won’t transfer. I’m doing everything as I’ve seen but it’s not working! 😩

Same! I've got an expensive lamp, I've tried thin coats, thick coats, 30 seconds, 60 seconds, lint wipe, my finer, cuticle pusher to rub the foil. And it still doesn't stick.

    • @hasal1234
      @hasal1234 3 роки тому +4

I suggest you try to use a thin layer of star glue or whatever gel u have and cure for 30-60 secs then do a second coat. And when it's dry but tacky place it on, make sure its the right side aswell and smooth down with an eraser or something soft and then it should work!

Omg I'm so glad I found u! Giggles I know that sounds creepy and wasn't supposed to but I watched a video (won't say who but) they say whe u spread the foil glue put in lamp for 120 seconds. For swatches I guess thats fine but for a client ummm.... heck no! It'll burn em! Ty for the video and I really do look forward to many more! Thank u for sharing.... I'm self taught from youtube'ers such ad yourself! I don't need to be licensed to do my own nails! I've been busy doing the lazy girl method (bc I can't do on top of nail without lumps and bumps) with both polygel and acrylic. I do hope ur the one who eventually gives me that ah-ha moment! Thanks again and I did like comment and subscribed! Huggies from Ky 🇺🇸

How long should I cure nail foil transfer gel in a LED/CCFL lamp? My lamp takes 20 secs for colour and top and base. 30 seconds for really dark colours. I can't work out how long I should be cutting transfer gel in such a powerful lamp

The issue I’ve been having is spotting or not wanting to stick and it drives me nuts cause the first time I ever tried foiling, my nails turned out pretty good the foil stuck and everything but it seems every attempt there after just doesn’t seem to want to go right and Ive been jumping between curing 30 seconds and 60 seconds but neither seem to really help so I’ve been frustrated with foiling and kinda gave up on it even though I love all the pretty foils I have so I’m gonna take your advice and see if that changes anything
