I am a huge Shadowhunter fan! I definitely recommend continuing the series, especially the Infernal Devices series and the Last Hours series, because Cassandra Clare’s writing really improves!
I second this! For me, The Dark Artifices was the hardest one for me to get through but they are all good! Especially TID and TLH!
shadowhunters books are so great! if you love YA fantasy with all the tropes that just won't die it's a great world to jump into lol

The Shadowhunters are worth the read. The last three books in The Mortal Instruments clear up some things.
Nice to see Bow Before the Elf Queen here. I really don't see anyone in the fantasy romance space talking about it besides Katie's Book Nook.

The infernal devices series is AMAZING AND HEARTWRENCHING AND YES!! It was my first Cassandra Clare series I read and you can understand it fully even if you haven’t read anything else!! Tess, Will, and Jem have a place in my heart forever 🫶🏼 you should definitely read it!!

You NEED to continue the shadowhunter chronicles!!! The infernal devices is genuinely the greatest trilogy ever (no joke) and if you liked the OG books then you’ll LOVE the rest of the books they really only get better!

I would just skip to the Infernal Devices trilogy. Those are amazing, the others are ok but not my personal favorite! I don’t think you need to read the original series to read that trilogy
