    Didn't mention eye dominance which can cause change of stance and stating position on the oche.

    I just bought a dart, and set it up. I am a short guy, so the dart board is a little bit higher is this ok? I am 5'4 and the dart is 5'8,,,... its too hight for me..

    • @DartsDecoded
      @DartsDecoded  3 дні тому +1

      Congrats on getting your dartboard! 🎯 The standard height for a dartboard is 5'8" to the bullseye, regardless of a player's height. It might feel high at first, but with practice, you'll adjust your throw to match. Focus on maintaining a steady stance and aligning your throw with the board. Over time, it’ll feel more natural. Stick with it-you’re on the right track!

    I train for one year now and score around the 60, but every week I change my throw a little bit and I do not have a consistent one.

    I hold the dart with all mu finger under the dart, exept my little finger . No one shoot like that, should i change my tecnique? I started one month ago.

    • @redline350zHR

      Ok so iiii have actually been doing that (with my point resting on nail of my ring finger) with my 4 fingers touching and i went back to 2 with my MIDDLE instead of ring finger being the guide to keep stability…..& the difference in my accuracy has come back/immediately improved.
      I have been throwing for a year and i love the game. I throw a couple hours a day-6-7 days a week.

      That’s an interesting grip! 🎯 While most players use a different technique, there’s no 'one-size-fits-all' in darts. If your grip feels natural and gives you control, stick with it for now. Since you’ve only been playing for a month, it’s a good idea to focus on consistency first. Over time, if you feel like your grip is holding you back, you can experiment with small adjustments. Ultimately, it’s all about what works best for you! Keep practicing, and you’ll find what feels right. 👍

      stop throwing at your collarbone

    • @thereaperdoesntknow9320
      @thereaperdoesntknow9320 4 місяці тому +1

      Try to either not pull your arm as far back or try to adjust your aiming at a higher position

    • @DartsDecoded
      @DartsDecoded  4 місяці тому

      Bouncing off the collarbone can be really annoying! 😅 This often happens due to blunt dart tips or a dartboard with thick wires. Checking and sharpening the tips can help, and if the dartboard has thick wires, consider getting a newer board with thinner wiring.

      Lol he means the flight of the dart is hitting the collar bone when pulling back to throw my advice for this is to develop a throwing action that does not allow your dart to travel back that far for me I position the dart at my eye and throw forward there is no pulling back to my throw just one motion from eye to the board hope this helps im terrible at explaining things 😊
