Dumper and bus both were driving in overtaking Lane on right which is wrong. This is main problem on Indian roads. Heavy vehicles always drive on right Lane even if it is 6 or 8 Lane highways.

They do that to avoid slow-moving bikes and rickshaws; otherwise, you would see accidents daily.😂
Forget the dumper truck, it’s not highway, so they can be in inner lane. But I agree on bus, they can’t drive in passing lane on highway
@@amolpatil7199 Thats not the excuse. They can always come back to the left lane after overtaking the slow-moving bikes or rickshaws from the right lane. They are breaking the rules now by continuously driving in the right lane and forcing other fast-moving vehicles to overtake from the left lane which causes accidents.

mainly big vehicles have most side of left as blind site so they prefer to drive in right lane to avoid any collisons with light vehicles like bikes and mainly people walking on left side of road
Remember kids, speed is very important while overtaking. And you should do downshift as well to increase acceleration. That's why speed locking the cars has negative returns.

Major reason hai bike valo ka highway pe slow speed mai bike chalana. It's not there fault, but there should be specific "Bike riding lane" on every highway to avoid such accidents.

Highway driving karte waqt North India mein 40km per hour aur South India mein 50 km per hour ke hisaab se journey time pakadke chalein. Apne aap se pooche : jaldi pahunchke kaun sa gutar gu karne wale hai ? ya duniya jeetne wale hai ? time se pehle pahunchne ka koi veer chakra nahi milta .. haan, "veer gati" zarur prapt ho sakti hai.

That's because your lack of knowledge about the road rules .I will teach you , whenever a vehicle trying to overtake and reaches half of your vehicle if you have enough space then you should give space to that vehicle , must slow down and should let them allow to pass through . That's how a matured driver do. Lack of knowledge about the rules and ethics makes you think so. Iam not blaming you iam blaming Indian driving school for not teaching these basics properly.

Why us it that in India, buses and trucks NEVER use the left lane while driving. Install cameras along the route and if they drive in any lane except the left lane, fine them. But before that, install lanes for two wheelers exclusively. There's enough money to do that as even the sale of a little alto K10 involves the government collecting a lakh rupees in gst.

Right lane speed/ overtaking ke liye hoti hai. There's nothing *safe* about driving in that lane. Ulta 30 pe chala ke aur frustrate kar dete ho sabko.
Bhai wo sahi bol raha hai ...truck and bus walein right lane me hi chalenge and we should understand their reason ...but phir unhe left lane me bilkul nahi ana chahiye ...yaha law or practical situation sync me nahi hai ...on expressway left lane rule is OK but on roads like this I am not sure if we have options ...Until we have safe infrastructure better to drive responsibly and accept that others will continue to make mistake and drive ultra safely

1. Once had a chat with a TRUCK driver. He told " right me chalte hai kyunki left me baar baar over take Krna padta hai slow moving truck ko or any vehicle" means if say truck A speed is 40kmph and truck B having 30kmph at some point A will have to overtake B . So to overcome this they tend to move in right lane so they don't have to overtake frequently. P.s Both speed 30kmph and 40kmph is slow and meant to be in extreme left lane. But just for driver's ease they do this.

By the way, you summed up the video well. Only way out is enforcement of rules and regulation by police. Else situation is not going to improve ever! Also police accountability should be enforced by making body cam and cameras on patrol vehicles. We need continuous patrolling on highways too.

Can't follow the rules, can't save yourself if not followed the rules, can't even save yourself if followed the rules. As a biker, I once rode at 10 but got hit at 90 because the car was at 80. It was Alto, the high-pace agility menace on narrow roads.
In my city 90% roads are single laned (due to encroachment)
The single lane is hijacked by heavy vehicles.
Car/bike drivers have to overtake by often swerving multiple times and improvising.
Local police is often involved in collecting bribes and ignoring encroachment.
This case car driver was guilty but often triggered by hectic conditions created by road conditions and officer timings.
Incorrect driving. The Nexon is heavy 🐌 and slow 🐢, and the engine is underpowered. 🐌

I think nexon is very unstable car due to high ground clearance ....any hatch back or sedan or tata punch would not have toppled ...even though its 5 star car and build is very good , I wont prefer it because of unstablity ....Tata punch has better dynamics ....Any thoughts ?

This is a mistake of Nexon driver. I also did same mistake. Unfortunately my car just escaped with scratch with bus and I escaped big accident.
For Nexon brother, there was option to braking and cancel overtaking , always choose to brake rather than taking chance. Further request to all when ever someone overtaking slow down and give way, I will brake and slow down my car if some is overtaking or trying to overtake to avoid complex situation for me. Further heavy vehicle in India is on right lane to avoid local traffic (2 wheelers, rickshaw, auto, animals)which is again on there blind spot
There should definitely be separate huge wide 2 Wheeler lanes separated by a divider / separator.

Always stay away 20 meters minimum from heavy vehicles this was taught by my father when i started driving 30 yrs back at the age of 16 and i thoroughly follow till date and add 15 mint more in my every destination where ever i go ...and till niw i have driven 2 times across every state of india once in Maruti 800 and 2nd time in safari dicor .i have driven mire then 13 lakh km bith 2 wheeler and 4 wheeler together and touchwood Papa ka sikhaya kabhi bhula nhi or kabhi unke lesson k aage bap ban ne ki kosis nhi ki or aaj tak papa k lesson dimag ko shant rakhta hai or aukat me bhi as i always remember vehicle is killing machine so better drive properly and be happy
Bus driver should have slowed down, nexon driver's calculation was wrong, Nobody wants to drive on left because of bikes and autorixas.
In this country of idiots nobody knows and follows rules.
How many drivers know that right lane is an overtaking lane and for constant speed the left lane has to be taken.
No training, no strict examinations nothing. Anybody and everybody gets a licence here.

When a car is trying to overtake a big vehicle, they should try to give way and like the nexon is trying to over take here and the bus can foresee the situation about to occur, he should have slowed down to let the nexon pass by slowing down. The problem is everyone is handed a vehicle but has no knowledge of rules & no driving etiquettes, that's the real problem here in India. On the road, you're not the only one driving, we have to work with each other. It may not bring us any advantage but it sure will help avoid losses and in some cases lose of life or lives.

Apply the brakes. Bus is travelling at high speed so overtake is not a possibility
Drive safe and cooperate with each other. Even if other one is wrong give him possible way to avoid accident. Don't be too firm about rules on the road, have some flexibility. Safety of everyone is more important.

No doubt the car is at fault but the bus drivers most of the time bully the small vehicles as they know that they are not going to get hurt in this type of collisions. here the bus driver could have slowed to let the car pass and could have averted the collision. on national and state highways the heavy vehicles cover all the three lanes and dont allow the smaller cars to overtake . I have travelled thosands of kms by car and seen this common among all states .

I drive very fast and usually I am the fastest on the road but on thode rare occasion I want to drive in moderate speed, I let fast moving vehicles pass me.. which is never the case when I want to drive fast - I have to make the effort to go faster to overtake.. in my opinion, the bus driver should have let the Nexon pass but sadly very few have virtues of courtesy and civic sense in our country

As 50% accidents involve 2 wheelers, the creation of 2 wheeler only lanes ought to be considered an urgent necessity. As for the Nexon - do not overtake using the left side. Elementary driving school stuff and nobody in India pays it any heed. I knew a person who used to laugh at this rule proudly proclaiming that he always overtook from the left. And what would you say if he went on to become President of Vesuvius Group in the UK? Ironic.
Driving is a serious matter that involves courtesy and consideration and an understanding of the road, which we call road sense.

You can't control actions of others. So it's better to act accordingly. It was definitely a risky overtake as two wheelers were there on the left side. Nexon driver paid the price for taking unnecessary risk.

In both Cases , Both Heavy Vehicles have to be in Left . Bus was Further at Fault as he did not slow down. Also Bus Driver had nothing to lose . Bus was not his , but owners. they are usually very rowdy in approach. .
