I love watching your reviews. I’ve spent a little too much money on Star Wars and Star Trek books because of you haha. I now have all the High Republic books (except for middle grade) in hardcover. Absolutely awesome
I always appreciate your reviews! I wanted to comment for the first time because I thought it was interesting that you and I have many opposing thoughts on this book and EK Johnston’s books in general (e.g., I loved the Amidala trilogy and my least fav of her 5 was Ahsoka!). :P I try to watch and read all SW content with childlike wonder (which means I like most of it). Solo is my least favorite movie and I anticipated not liking Crimson Climb as a result. However, it well surpassed my expectations! I agree that side characters weren’t very developed, but I definitely thought it was an entertaining book the whole way through. The pacing allowed me to feel like I was on a journey with Q’ira. I was also glad that Johnston didn’t try to pack too much into this book (such as romance or more ascent with Maul), which would’ve made it feel too rushed for the length of the book. I’d love to see another Q’ira novel, but even if there isn’t one, I’m happy to leave the rest to the creativity of my imagination as we SW fans are used to. :) Thanks for your great SW content!
Hey Jonathan, just like your video “If you like this Star Wars movie read this book” do you have any recommendations for anything similar to Andor. Really loved that show and would like to read something similar. Cheers,✌🏻
Hmm…That’s a little Hard. Leia Princess of Alderaan and Bloodlines both deal with similar themes, as do the first Battlefront book, but I’m not sure those would be the best suggestion….Maybe Rebel Rising, which is tonally similar.
The X-wing series. No jedi or sith, no beskar (plot) armor. All about regular people - espionage missions, prison breaks, space battles. The stakes are real and you feel it when someone is in danger.
I am admittedly not a fan of the solo movie so this book wasn’t a big priority to me and I don’t have the best perceptions of this author but I do find it very odd why they release this book 5 years after the movie and why as a YA novel (maybe that’s the age that responded best to the movie?) but you would think an adult novel would get a lot more fanfare and I didn’t feel like this book was widely advertised
I really think the author has good connections with the editor of the YA line, and that’s why she keeps getting gigs. This business is often about hiring friends and people you know, but I wonder what the book sales have been like. I can’t imagine her sales are going up. 🤔
So i have a question/ request. Every star wars book I finished was a UA-cam audiobook which was so good and fun but I wanna have an actual physical copy in my hands. I can’t find any bookstore here has a star wars book so I need an app that sells star wars book for good price. I want to have them all hardcover even if they’re old and used books and i need this app to have a delivery to Middle East. If you know any i would be thankful
Where is the outro song ???? I can't understand how fast people can read a book. It was published 8 days ago. I can't do this. I'm not Interested in this book. But still nice Video
I got a lot of complaints about the Outro, and decided to try making videos without it. I also read a book in 2-3 days, depending on the length. Some books I read on release day. This one I read about 3 days after it came out and then I reviewed it to come out today.

I’m glad you’re enjoying them!
Qira in the comics had an amazing arc (Crimson Reign and Hidden Empire)! Maybe the comics make the difference where it’s more enjoyable?
I haven’t read the comics yet, I’m hoping they do adult novels featuring that storyline.
The thumbnail tells me that this book managed to ruin your faith in God

@@jonathankoan I see, thanks for the suggestions. Would love some spy thrillers novels in the Star war universe. I Think that would work very well.

My fav booktuber! 🔥
Sorry to hear you weren’t into this one. I’ll probably pick it up sometime but it’s not one that I was crazy excited for

I do not know that. My go to website is ABEBooks but I don’t know if they ship to the Middle East.
@@jonathankoan thanks
