ive been skating 7 years and still cant consistently kickflip like i swear ppl r starting to progress soo much faster now (only started to learn tricks back in June)
don't worry these kind of video are kind of fake, nobody progress like... landing a kickflip after two months only is already significant, usually in two months you're rolling on the board very well and you can do ollie, maybe some shov and maybe 180 depending on your ollie, but he is already flipping perfect, even lands heelflip, which is usually not trivial at all after 2 months. so yeah i call bs on that video, well the timestamp are probably incorrect, or that guy is extremely good and got a lot of help.
The fact how the title said real on the first one
@@golendorfjules1838I just started skating in august and I’ve spent most of my time learning boardslides and transition. I can only rock n roll and rock to fakie. I haven’t put most of my time into flip tricks, yet I can land heelflips pretty easily. I’m 34 btw but my point being, progressing quickly is definitely possible especially as a kid. I don’t even skate daily as much as I wish I could.
@golendorfjules1838 lol you're trippin, if you knew how much time some of these kids are skating and the overall evolution of skating its not fake. The first kid was skating hours a day in his driveway then hours at the park and his driveway and garage after. The average concensus is that it takes 10,000 hours to master something and 6 hours skating a day for a year is over 2000 hours
Dang. I've been skating for 10 years and I'd have a heart attack if I tried a front shuv off a stage that tall 😂
Regarding the balance board: when you are learning to skate (especially when you are an adult), a balance board will be hugely beneficial to progression. It develops the muscles necessary to ride and perform tricks, as well prevents injuries. Our muscles will adapt quicker when the body is finding it’s center of balance. It can get deep and nerdy but I’ll leave it there. But I just use a deck on a foam roller when I’m watching nba or whatever and I recommend all skaters do it! You’ll develop your core much stronger than you will just skating as well!
AWESOME VIDEO. THAT FIRST GUY PROGRESSED QUICKLY. AMAZING TO SEE NEW SKATERS DOING SO DANG WELL. HAVE A GOOD DAY RICKY.
Much love and respect to you and your channel Ricky Glaser. ❤️🔥♾️🍀
Thank you
@@rickyglaser of course. 💯❤️🔥
I love watching all your progression videos please keep them coming🙂
With regard to balance boards and how they pertain to skating: Highly recommend!
It's only a small piece of the puzzle, but it's great for developing an understanding in the nature of balance.
Believe in yourselves and each other and never give up on your dreams and aspirations and remember to be kind and uplifting to each other and open minded and genuine and respectful and humble. ❤️🔥♾️🍀
I love skateboarding. Skateboarding is nice and I like how it can be something. I totally ignored the talk show host and completely 📺 just watched the skateboarding. Keep going and keep trying I like it a whole lot.
I stopped skateboarding last year. It was because i got a knee injury and i was scared to keep going. 2 videos, including this one has assured me that i can try again. This kid is an inspiration and so are you, ricky👍
also love ur content and ur rly good at skateing
That first kid has a lot of talent, i watched and recommended regularjason a while ago. He’s awesome
I just learned about the nollie I can't wait to try it again.I'm just a few from outside and waiting to get into the air again.🌪 Skateboarding four wheels can't wait to try it again.
This is nice skateboarding can't wait to try it .
I wish I could skate, I was friends with all the skaters at school, but I couldn’t practice at home anywhere and I was too shy to stack it anywhere public as a beginner. At 32, I feel like I’m too old to start properly (everything hurts just a little more as you get older 😅). It’s frustrating though, I now live 30 seconds away from a decent skate park in Brighton UK, and I’m so tempted to try again.
I’ve been skating 1 1/2 years but really going at it the last like 7ish and I still can’t do a shuv it
The first child got up to 4 hour practices. It shows. So here is now what I know about skating:
1. If you're not falling, you're not skating. The pros are on their asses all the time.
2. Before you figure out how to skate, you need to figure out how to get 4 hours to practice every day.
Popping to manny is not an easy one to learn, big props to both skaters killing it.
I started last week with skating 😅 really tough but everyday I see little tiny steps of getting better and more confident with my board :) but never will I learn so fast like the dude in this video xD
What did he do wrong when he did that big drop in your video at 3:10? It looked like he was leaning forward enough.
I like to wear a helmet when I’m learning a feel for a new trick. Once I get the feel i know I’m safe enough without it.
Bro it took me 7 months for my first ollies
WHY DOES THE MUSIC SOUND NOSTALGIC
He is really good
wtf I am just learning frontside 180 on flat and they are doing front board in the 10 month mark
Progress, the human endeavour.
the only thing that i dont like about people learning to skate in a year is that they don't spend at least the first month rolling and building good comfidents
hey ricky i made a progress video a while back i would be hype if you included in one of these videos
first video i watched in 2024🤟
☀️
These kids start skateboarding with the best boards and expensive shoes and all the skate merch before they can even ollie. Whatever happened to starting on wallmart boards?
Oh well at least he stuck with it and got good
