      It will sit just under the passenger fender beautifully.. It's recommended to install it there by HKS.. And they recommend to install a duct for more air via a foglight delete.. We installed two here in Kuwait.. One for my GRF and my friend's 2015 STI.

    There are a couple of problems I see 1. that looks to be the wrong oil pump 2. Those H beam rods most likely won't handle 850whp 3. 850whp won't be achieved on stock location, but id assume you will be switching that. Also, you might want to pick up a Killer B oil pickup, baffle, and oil pan. This is going to be a cool build though

    I learned a lot from this video I wonder if these procedures are transferable with most engine builds. Obviously each car has it's own quirks. Some important details like mounting, timing was not covered but seems like the high level order of things was illustrated.

  • @bbbugeye2744
    @bbbugeye2744 3 роки тому

    Jus some advice. You're gonna want to change out that lightweight/lightened crank pulley out for a good after market one that has a fluid dampener in it. The EJ crank pulley is that heavy for a reason. It helps balance the crank and everything connected to it. Especially at high rpms and increased power. You'll ruin your new build with that lightweight crank pulley...

    I have a cdb ej255 too. But only with Manley Turbo Tuff rods AND pistons. Cp-pistons are about the weaker forged pistons on the market. I Got 750 hp/ 850 Nm on a GTX3582 gen2. on 2.7 bar and ported heads with stage 3 brian crower cams with bigger inlet and exhaust valves and titaninum retainers and springs. And a Syvecs Stand alone ECU with Rolling launch, cool asf. only the ECU is half of your budget ;) ;) The different is that i paid all by my self ;) Maybe i gonna retune for about 900 hp on e85. Woow , saw you had the CHEAPEST RODS from Manley. They will have a short live if they shall experience 800 bhp. You should have gone for Turbo Tuffs that are rated for 1200 hp. Are you going for 800 hp with a stock location turbo ? LOL, go rotated i`ll say. much broader powerband and spool.

      IAG is all about quantity over quality. Their builds are crap. I’ve had 3 friends that ran their block and none of them made it over 10k miles. Maybe in the beginning they were a good company but as of now I would stay far away from them.

      Outfront was doing closed deck motors before IAG. Not to say IAG is a bad choice but Outfront guys have a lot of experience.

    I’m not too familiar with building engines but could these same parts work for a WRX to build it with that much HP?

      He could've ordered the 12mm jdm oil pump from Japan for approximately 120$.. That would be dope.

    Awesome things your doing man but I was just wondering your not just gonna get 800 with a stock turbo on that. You can’t just build the engine tough and get 800 on stock boost

    Where’s your high flow downpipe? Or ARP head studs? 3 way boost controller? Accessport? I see lots missing still for even a 400 hp stock turbo build.... your gonna be lucky to make 350 with all that! 😆

      The93vigor no headers or injectors either how is he gonna get past the factory 280 whp with all that missing.

    • @DC-rq1xl
      @DC-rq1xl 5 років тому

      The93vigor at 6:10 he literally shows the head studs and he has other videos where he’s installed the Accessport.

      KKAHT he installed injectors on another video and you don’t need headers to go past 280whp, the oem manifold actually flows pretty well.
