Amazing game as always and amazing script, Alex. Was cool to watch you Storytell it. Hannibal is such an interesting Demon and I love the agency it has for ST. *Spoilers:* That was absolutely incredible taking what could've been a great game with a short ending that's probably anti-climatic for Eevee into the most insane ending. Every day, I was thinking "Surely someone's telling Eevee she's evil right?" Haha. Also, Patters, I really love how much you can goof around and have fun while also doing a killer frame-up play as outed evil. The only way good could know James isn't Hannibal is from Lee's confirmation, and even then they made a vote that could be beaten.
At the date of this stream, an older version of the script existed. It has since been updated so that Minions receive 3 bluffs in a Hannibal game, you will also note that in this version they choose who dies at night - which is not the case anymore.
I was confused too and then got even more confused when I saw tribunal. Turns out the linked script is a different version and the version played here was an older one with some changes.
just watched this game; ending was great. that said, my initial thought was that theoretically a Hannibal/Town/Town final-3 means pure odds favor any random living player being good, which means 3 players with no knowledge of whether or not they're the Hannibal should all be against a clutch evil Spartacus snipe, on the premise that 2/3 of the time such a snipe will lead to a loss. (from a game theory perspective, at least. from a fun perspective this game speaks for itself, but i'm here to side-eye mechanics) this means that optimal play incentivizes all three living players to claim evil and make the worst possible Spartacus guess on purpose in order to signal that they have no knowledge that makes them think they are more than 50% likely to actually be the Hannibal, and that they have to do this tactic as quickly as possible, unprompted, or else it gives dead minions the chance to use the one-chance Spartacus guess first. which, like, lame, but at least's it's lame on a wacky, game-theoretically-interesting level. THEN i realized that if evil Hannibals are allowed to guess Spartacus, after there has been any death a non-Spartacus townie can just insist everyone try to guess them as Spartacus as a form of Hannibal test, which is substantially less interesting and probably means Hannibals shouldn't be allowed to guess Spartacus lol
You don't get any feedback whether the Spartacus guess has been used or not, so you don't learn if anyone is Hannibal that way (unless they guess correctly and the game ends). A non-Spartacus good player could convince everyone to guess them as Spartacus on day 1 to remove that winning condition, good players have a reason to do this which means evil players will also join to avoid being outed. Should work - but it would effectively remove the Spartacus game mechanics so I don't think that strategy would be fun.
I assume it's the same ruling as psychopath test. If town asks everyone to claim psychopath and try to kill someone, the ST ignores the actual psychopath kill here because it's not in the spirit of the psychopath. I imagine in the same way, a hannibal guessing a non-spartacus townie does not use up the guess if everyone is asked to do it.
@@johannanish9749 A better example might be damsel guesses, since sparticus is basically a slightly modified damsel, but it works the same as psychopath.
The day before the Gladiator fight night, didn't one too many players claim Spartacus, with Rob last? (5 people, 7 alive so should have been 4 max.) So in fact Rob's claim shouldn't have counted, and Patters would have had a free pass at confirming their suspected Spartacus target at that stage by checking their character?
I see Patters hasn't watched Holly's explanation of how to win rock, paper, scissors.
oh yeah fall of rome on the yt channel you love to see it
Great game, for anyone confused like I was Tribunal is the same as the Glykon.

haha classic patters, dragging sparticus along for the ride
that ending was unbelievably satisfying
Very excited to see this up. Really love this script and it's different than the base 3 you see played everyplace
This was so much fun to watch! Kudos to you all for playing/running a great and entertaining game!
Shouldn't the minions have gotten bluffs because of the Hanibals? Sorry, totally new to the script and still confused... :')

@@Alex_s_1999 Ah, that clears it up, thanks! Love the script btw, just slightly overwhelmed because of all the new characters/mechanics... :'D
Oh I just love this script. Spartacus win!!
