  • Our webinars are held monthly and welcomes industry experts to talk about a wide range of mammals and all things mammal related. This past July, to celebrate National Marine Week, we hosted a webinar on orca behaviour and conservation with ocean conservationist, Lauren Eyles
Join Lauren Eyles, marine biologist and founder of Wild Ocean Wonders, as she discusses Orca populations, recent behaviour in Portugal and the theories behind this.
Lauren has over 15 years of experience in engagement, citizen science and communication - on top of that she's also a PADI dive master and a snorkel guide/instructor. Lauren has engaged thousands of people in citizen science projects as well as presented face-to-face and on-screen to show what the oceans have to offer, to better understand them and the threats they face!
This event was held on the 28th of July 2023 at 12:00 GMT via Zoom. This webinar is part of Mammal Society Free Webinar series. With the aim to make conservation accessible to more people, tickets are free, and any donations will go towards the conservation work of the Mammal Society.
