I hunt ALONE too 90% of the time, it's a lot of work..... but, to be honest, I like my solo hunts best. Everyone else always wants to leave early, quit, etcetera.... it's too much work to quit just because the birds stop flying for 20 minutes. I could sit and watch the duck show all day by myself !!

It’s so refreshing seeing content that isn’t “perfect”. The struggles in this video can relate with a lot of people and I appreciate you for sharing them even though you could’ve scraped or cut out that footage. God gives us struggles to make us stronger, if it wasn’t hard it wouldn’t be worth it. Thank you again for your videos, they’re becoming something I look forward too.

Congrats on being so close to being a dad. Addiction is a destroyer of anything strong. I’ve watched it happen, you got this man.

Love watching your videos. By far my fav duck hunter to watch on here hope ur vids keep coming for a long time to come. Glad you made a vid like this because going through the same thing trying to quit the nic, and maybe a new boat will be my reward in the near future! Keep up the hard work, love to see it!

First time to ever comment on anything online, felt moved to hearing about your struggle with nicotine. I’m 48, I dipped for over 30 years, and am 2 years into being nicotine free. Last duck season was brutal, this one is a little easier, but I still really miss it. That being said, I’ll never touch it again. Stay strong on the bad days dude

I find it hilarious that to us duck hunters, what looks like a poor decoy spread turns out to be a duck magnet. Cheers!

I remember watching cope junkies back in the day. Been watching ever since. Love the videos. Keep on trucking man, we've all got our struggles. Like you said we dont need to be perfect, Just a little better than we were the day before. If you ever make it to Utah I'd gladly take ya out chasing ducks .

We all struggle in some way. I cope with mine by going hunting or fishing. I enjoy Solo hunts they are fun but having good guys around you to enjoy it with definitely makes it better. If you ever just need to change a pace or want to just hunt with a different group of guys, you're more than welcome to hunt with us. We hunt around the KC area. Last thing is enjoy being a father there is nothing better than when you get to show your kids the things you love to do and then watch them enjoy it. Have a great rest of the season

Also really enjoyed the videos, your the one that got me into duck hunting. Keep your head up and sometimes you got to let it all out. It’s not a bad thing and most the time it helps. Not every hunt will be perfect. Just keep at it but sometimes life gets in the way. Keep them video’s coming.

Crippling a canvasback will break any true sportsman so don’t let it get to you, I get it man, hang in there, the grind of the season will wear you down, but man you’ll be wishing for more when it’s over. It’s the best rush you’ll ever get. Keep making those killer vids and all the best with the new baby!

Congrats on your new addition... cleaning your gun with water, amazing!.
I quit smoking 2 packs a day years ago with our first born. It was NOT easy, I did it by smoking nasty "butts" (even those in ash trays) needless to say I haven't had one since. (I'm way older when smokes were common) Good luck to you, keep up with the show.

Smoked cannabis for 14yrs straight and cigs packed them both in the day my son was born 17yrs ago and i can honestly say it was one of the toughest things i have ever done and i'm glad i did , you have to be in the mood to hunt to enjoy it properly ...oh and that stick in the middle of your hide was doing you no favours clear the shooting area so you can swing left and right ..and if you think that canvas back was testing fatherhoods gonna blow your mind 😂goodluck ☘️🇮🇪

Please don’t sideline Korra from duck hunting. You are her world and she seems very driven, hence the anxiety. The whining will get better with age. With all the work she has done to become a great bird dog (yes she’s great if a bit whiny), and how young she still is don’t give up on her. You’ll notice changes in her behavior if you give up taking her hunting. There’s is nothing sadder than seeing a bird dog with no purpose.

Cold turkey nicotine was your mistake..for sure. Second would be clean your shotguns once every two weeks if ur hunting a lot. And third that canvas back would of looked good on the garage wall.😂 Your best vids were in the kayak Josh.

Stop setting up to fail. An old adage from my grandmother, “Anger blows out the winds of the mind.” I remember my hunting beginning and focused on where my setup would give me the advantage not the prey. I am not the greatest a duck calling but use my feeder call to cover my flubs. Focus on a better setup where the sun is not your enemy by moving farther down the bank. Set your decoys where the ducks must fly by you not out of GQ duck magazine or duck perfect video. Think you got it bad hunted out of a white boat with 11 decoys for my grandmother duck and dressing two hens Thanksgiving two hens Christmas every year. Not someone you wish to fail to produce, this holding down a full time job that worked overtime before holidays. Stress oh yes but always remember getting mad over the smallest things, stop reboot get it done.
