@ sponsored gear doesn’t mean nothing about all the work and time he put in to successfully harvest a deer. The sponsorships come from all the hard work he has put in to earn that.
I've been bow hunting since I was like 13. One thing you can do to help with your sent is get a big tote, big enough to fit all the hunting gear and clothes you wear hunting. Put a bunch of cedar branches in the bottom, put your hunting stuff in it, then put a few cedar branches on top. Doing this and using hunting wash and dead down wind we have pretty good luck with controlling our scent. Love the videos man 🙏🏻 and congrats on your buck
That 2nd blind set would be a perfect food plot area. Summer/winter rotation. Plant some corn at far end to give some screen security and beans the rest. When beans mature and leaves start turning go in and broadcast some radish, cereal, crimson clover and maybe some oats. Leave the grain standing. Will have an awesome draw
Heck yeah man! I’m excited for the deer hunts. Im a fanatic about it lol! And a tip I’ve learned is hunt the wind, that’s the only thing 100% fool proof of a deer not smelling you. And access they’ll smell where you walked in too.
Congrats on the deer. Nice buck! Couple things to consider. When sitting in a blind like that try dark or black clothes and a dark face covering to blend into the black interior of the blind. The only other thing I noticed at the time of the shot is the bubble level in the sight. Looked like you had the bow tilted a bit to the left by looking at the level. Just one thing to glance at before taking the shot to make sure your bow is level. Makes for more consistent and accurate shots. All things considered awesome job! Keep with it!
The best deer pee and cover scents is native scents from Alabama. I’ve used it the past 5 years and it’s been a game changer. Zach knows everything about how deer think
Excellent job on following up with another shot. (not sarcastic) Some people get ahead of themselves and dont consider that the animal needs to be finished. Great buck!
Congrats! It was a off from where you were aiming cause your balance was off. If you look at the bubble on your bow it was off. Good first buck though! We live and learn.
Congrats! Pointer…practice inside 20 yards. You spined it because I’d guess it was at about 15 yards near the highest point of the arrow flight. While I realize you have a speedy bow, it’s not a laser beam. Inside 10 yards, your 30 yard pin will be closer to POI because your arrow probably hasn’t reached the height of your 20 yard pin yet.
Try Fitzgerald deer dander for a cover scent it smells like a deer my biggest deer came in downwind while wearing deer dander and it walked right to me just smelling
Josh when u start a scrape like that pee in it. The bucks will start using it immediatly. Its like if ur outside with ur dog and u pee out there the dogs will go pee where u did. Same thing.... Then they will start using it regularly
Id push the ground blind off the edge of the field a couple yards and try to hide it into shadows of trees and also not right on any deer trails you see.
@OutdoorLimits yea man you did good keeping your composure. Also look for downed trees and deep ditches that can further funnel deer moving through pinch points. You can very accurately predict where they will walk and that combined with knowing the wind you can really cut down on getting busted.
Congrats on the first bow buck! You just started another expensive outdoor addiction lol
He gets a lot of sponsored gear and plus all you actually need is a weapon.

@@ClarksOutdoors you said he started an expensive hobby. His hobby is not as expensive bc he gets sponsored gear. Whoosh
I was just gonna say that, he’s officially addicted to bow hunting 😂

What a great first archery buck. Beautiful
Congrats Josh !! Love seeing someone who came from waterfowl get into deer !! I started out deer hunting and then got into waterfowl … good stuff !!
Came a long way from when you were a dip channel that’s how long I’ve been around lol
Looked like a Trophy buck to me! Nice job. Very lucky how close he got you.

Congrats Josh! Just got my first bow buck yesterday
Congrats on your first bow buck! Looked like a monster to me XD
Good job buddy. Persistence pays off
Great video! Hard to be a bow hunter and a duck hunter. The best times for both are often the same. At least here in Wisconsin!

Nice buck ! I usually hunt mornings because it's easier to find , field dress and get the deer back to the truck while it's still daylight
Congrats man! Nice one!
Congrats on that buck!!! You got me into duck hunting this year and I just watched this video so I guess I’m screwed lol.
Nice buck

Ive had mechanical broadheads fail on me. Id consider fixed blades if i were you. Fixed blade will also break through bone much easier.
Congratulations

Nice deer Josh!
Thanks 👍
Well done

Congrats on the buck! You definitely shouldn't have shot through the brush like that with the bow! Lucky you spine him and didn't wound him.

They can live on a single lung too
try not to be so loud in the field when your not hunting. setting up/filming
He probably saw your face. Even in a blind, you should wear a mask.
Man, that's a wall hanger for the first deer with a bow, I don't care where you live!
Congrats!
All them nay sayers can F off.
Yeah you smoked him…terrible shot at 10 yards
He’s dead isn’t he?
@ 🤡
Looks like crap it sticks out like a red stop sign of you shoot a giant out of it 4 plus yr buck I'll be shocked
I appreciate the kind words
