What an incredible voice. Trully gifted servant of God. I am honored to meet him personally at 3abn camp meeting. He was once invited by President Clinton to sing at Inauguration when he was a governor. He is incredible servant of God who love God and people. Praise God for Pastor Withney Phipps. Those who are quick to judge bec; of his skin are truly ignorant. Folks, Jesus died for all skin colors. Rmmber at the foot of the cross the ground is level. Long live Pastor Withney Phipps...
His voice is unlike any other! My mom & I use to listen to his record all the time ... I've loved his voice since I was 5 he is truly a blessing and a man that allows God to use him...I thank God for him!
God Bless Wintley Phipps! I was moved to tears and I'm not even American! best renditon yet of God Bless America.Hey Blakeyisbuffed, I only discovered him last week, Yes, he IS fantastic!!!
I just saw Dr. Wintley Phipps, perform at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando Florida. I have never heard of him before. I was beyond astounded by his voice, his speech and his accomplishments. I'm a new fan and follower. Looking for his book online now!
Our brave men and women continue to give their lives for us who appreciate what they do. They even give their lives for the idiots who don't have a clue what America was, is and will be to evereyone in the world who wants to be free. I get angry, but then I pity them. They have freedom and don' t even know it. I lived in a third world country for 10 years, and I learned to appreciate America, with all her faults. God bless America and God bless Wintley Phipps.
Wonderful performance and May God Bless America and Mr. Phipp's Ministry. It's said that racism would find itself here. It is written In John 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the ABUNDANCE of the heart his mouth speaketh. 46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
google his name and it will bring up a website for the U.S. Dream Academy. That website will lead you to a place that you can purchase his cds and dvds. all of the proceeds from them go to the Dream Academy, which is a non-profit org. that offers mentorship to the children of prisoners- it's awesome!
@docelmcdale Hi "D", you may be interested to know that Rev. Phipps (I think he's a reverend anyway) works with the children of prison inmates. Clearly not something "elites" would do. You might be interested in hearing him do the" Story of Amazing Grace". In any event you can't take away from the majesty of his voice. Not one like it since Mahalia Jackson died. Gd blss and Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones.
When addressing low and base communicaters who divide and demean don't stoop to their level with name calling. Pray for them, strive to help them, or don't acknowledge them. Matthew 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. 37 For BY THY WORDS thou shalt be justified, and BY THY WORDS thou shalt be condemned.
No problem about what color he has, but if he is one among the "elites" that's the question. It seems he knows nothing about what is happening in America behind the curtain.
This should be the national anthem. We need God back in America!
I am not American but as a Christian I agree with you.
I have known Pastor Wintley Phipps since 1972...he is truly a gifted singer, a real man of God and a solid preacher - he is even more real in person.

Wow, I love America, and I am not even American.
Because without that flag flying high we would have no right to ask Gods blessing on this country the land of the free and home of the brave.
@macroevolve I liked what you wrote.
Let's do a campaign fot that.

@macroevolve Does it really matter?
yea, he's a pastor.
America is not the land of the free by any stretch.
