      Yeah, it’s completely ridiculous how small they’re getting. I don’t even race anymore and I still prefer a standard 53/39. Cassettes have grown so much over the last decade that a standard chainset can accommodate 98% of terrains these days. I just don’t get the small chainring trend at all.

    😂 love the scene when he said he wouldn't want to "foul up the rotors" with the chain grease on his fingers: instead of wiping or at least grabbing at the centerlock section of the spider, he does it anyway (if only on the edges).

    I love the new group! I honestly would run the campy and/or dura ace only on road bikes. Any Italian brand bikes like pinarello, the bike needs to be paired with campy. I never run the sram on road and never will. I do run sram xx1, x01, and t type on my MTBs only and/or shimano XTR (i.e., XTR brakes with sram XX1 shifting).

    What's weird with the 45/29 crankset? Equivalent to the 50/34 of old. Maybe weird in a groupset non-racers don't need.

  • @M3GRSD
    @M3GRSD 11 місяців тому +3

    Comparing it only with the other truly wireless groupset, it looks as though a lot of Super Record Wireless components are indeed lighter than the current SRAM Red AXS components, save for a few. Not enough for me change course though, I love the way Red AXS rides on my Madone, and Super Record Wireless is too expensive to even consider.

    237,36 € for one of two spare /replacement batteries! No, thank you! No wireless 4 me, I stay with cables. I can buy a cable for USD 3.00 and can replace it by myself, even beside the road...

    So the spacing of the cassette is the same as the old 11-speed 11-29. Instead of smaller jumps between gears, like adding a 16T sprocket between 15 and 17, they just added a silly 10T sprocket. Non-interchangeable FD and RD batteries and cheap bushings instead of quality bearings are also not Campagnolo's best idea.

    And the hoods still use handlebar clamps that look like what you’d typically see in your local hardware store lol. That’s just shameful when you get proprietary titanium ones on Dura-Ace.

    So another video from a company that is obviously relying on advertising revenue from the manufacturers.... 10mins of waffle, nothing said about the outrageous pricing of this groupset. Lets remember that elctronic wireless shifting is cheaper to manufacture than mechanical (at the levers). This stuff is made in Taiwan.
    The mechs in particular are ugly beyond belief, and an embarrassment to a company like Campagnolo that was reliant on aesthetics for so long.
    The gearing on this groupset is not upto moderm standards, so cannot compete against Red or DuraAce.
    Campagnolo are in a death spiral unfortunately, and not going to survive with their pricing against better opposition.
    Lets again remember the stupid pricing and how ugly it is.
    The comics need to shift back to advocating for the consumer,.not the manufacturer.
