The Ukrainian military is working hard to IMPROVE THE PROTECTION OF UNITED STATES SUPPLIED ABRAMS TANKS. According to the ANNA News report, the dynamic protection block of “Kontakt-1” has been installed on one of the M1A1 tanks.This photo of the upgraded Abrams is circulating on Ukrainian social media, showing “KONTAKT-1” INSTALLED ON THE UPPER AND LOWER FRONT BUMPER. The different colors of the dynamic protection blocks indicate that THE BLOCK IS SOURCED FROM ANOTHER SOVIET TANK MODEL. Additionally, the Abrams hull side moldings still utilize ARAT standard dynamic protection.
