- Porsche Junior is a tractor manufactured by Porsche-Diesel from 1952 to 1963. It is powered by an air-cooled 14 hp 822 cc, single-cylinder diesel engine. This interesting new release from Revell promises to be popular as there is such a shortage of plastic farm machinery model kits.

Some people want the basics - a tractor. Others want a Porsche. Now? BOTH in one vehicle. Very nice build. At first I thought painting to be overkill. But it added to the build. Nice. hpiguys knows best.

Hello from France, thanks you for sharing. I am new in this hobby and due to the "stay at home order" those past days i started to build some Revell Easy click kits. I have just finished to build the Santa Maria ship of Christopher Colomb, and the planes F 4 Phantom and Mitchel B 25. This morning i started to build this Porsche Tractor. I didn't know than thoses sets were released in 2017 ! I bought thoses sets this last winter. I get also in stock an other Revell easy kit tractor is the DEUTZ D30 ( a green tractor). All the Best.
I've done the Deutz on the channel, all weathered.

That is so super cool! I gotta get one, I grew up in a small seafood/farm town in Mass called Ipswich and the road I grew up on is called town farm road (Not many farms there anymore) sad, But tractors were everywhere back then (over 40 yrs. ago) Lol, So I've built a few small clamming and lobster boats, but never a tractor and this, even though it's foreign looks awesome! I can't wait to get 1 now! I wonder if the Revell of U.S. one you mentioned will make a domestic brand in 1/24!! Thanks for the excellent review and build Chris!

I know Heller makes a double kit box of two US tractors, you could check those out. I think MegaHobby carries Heller.

Quick question about the body. On the Porsche 356 build, you used Future on the plastic, but on this Porsche Tractor, you painted the body with a very similar color of gloss paint. Is there a reason to Future that build, but gloss paint this one? Do the finishes look different? Was the quality of the body different? Or just diffeeent choices for different builds. I’m a newbie, so just trying to learn. Thanks!

I just picked up the USA version of the kit. The only difference is it doesn't come with stickers. Only decals.

Great video!!!! attempting my first model! watched the video first. I want to paint, but might do the first one without paint. where can I get a Porsche Boxster? or a Porsche 968? (ps its correctly pronounced Porsh-ah. not Porsh).
