    Lyrics:
Far over the Misty Mountains cold
To dungeons deep and caverns old
We must away, ere break of day
    To find our long-forgotten gold
The pines were roaring on the heights
The wind was moaning in the night
The fire was red, it flaming spread
The trees like torches blazed with light
The wind was on the withered heath
But in the forest stirred no leaf
    There shadows lay (shadows lay)
Be night or day (be night or day)
And dark things silent crept beneath
Farеwell we call to hearth and hall
Though wind may blow and rain may fall
Wе must away, ere break of day (we must away, ere break of day)
Far over wood and mountain tall
We must away, we must away
We ride before the break of day

The three super-duper deep notes are all G1s. Subharmonic, chest, and I don't remember the last one 🙂. Nothing to write home about, as in "Halo theme" and in "Valhalla calling" by Voiceplay Geoff hits B0... And in the latter he holds it for almost 15 seconds straight 😁.
The set is in Pattycake Productions, the studio where Voiceplay films most of their videos, that is owned by Layne Stein (VP beatboxer) and Tony Wakim (former VP baritone). 🙂
This has been the song that introduced me to Geoff. Yet, a few months ago he released the follow up to this one, this time from the Hobbit SECOND movie: same Dwarves, same makeups and costumes, different set, mood and lead distribution. Now I have TWO songs I always return to 😁.
If you thought this was beautiful and his voice deep (and they were, understand me), watch "I see fire". Then we talk again about it 🙂.
    See you next time!
PS: subscribed in anticipation for more Geoff and Voiceplay. 🙂

The last low note is also in chest. Just a breathy chest note.

This was filmed at Layne's Pattycake Productions studio. VoicePlay do most of theirs there, and Geoff gets to use it as well when apprpriate. This particular set is used quite a lot. Do follow this up with his I See Fire.

Love these. Make sure to do the one from the Desolation of Smaug - I See Fire which is in my Top 5 of Geoff's work.

Just a tip to listen to Geoff Castellucci or VoicePlay (an acapella group that Geoff is the founder of along with his friends, Eli and Layne). If you haven't already, you're missing out on a wonderful group. The tip is: forget what you know and just dive in, because Geoff (or VoicePlay) won't do anything like what you've seen before.

His cover of I See Fire, also from the Hobbit is (IMO) even better than this. You should also check out his cover of Aint No Sunshine or House of the Rising Sun. You should also check out the cover of Skyrim's The Dragonborn Comes that Geoff did with his acapella group Voiceplay. They also enjoy the theatrics and get into costume any time it makes sense for the song they are covering. Or if you prefer Xbox they did a cover of the Halo Theme. Both are stunning and beautiful.

Not sure what your timestamp should be, but pretty sure it's not 0:26; that's still in the spoken introduction.
