Cool to see you shout out BEP, God Selection and FR2. First time in Tokyo last year, it was cool to see these brands up close. BEP was everywhere! The GDXXX store is on my list for our next visit in the fall. Looking forward to picking up some pieces.
1. 🇯🇵 Wanna know about the new wave of Japanese street brands? Forget the old ones, here’s the new-gen brands you need to know about! 🚀 2. 👕 Human Made is killin' it with street style + Americana vibes - think cool graphic tees and collabs. Just make sure to size up or down! 😎 3. 🖤 Black Eye Patch: Hip-hop and skate-inspired, with pure Japanese flair. Logo tees and street cred - it’s a vibe! 🤘 4. ❌ God Selection X: Mocking fame and keeping it edgy with those X’d-out faces - classic streetwear feels. 🔥 5. 🐰 FR2: Sexy vibes and a mainstream streetwear gem - gotta mention it, even if it's a lil' mainstream for some. 📸
Japanease fashion has always stylish AF. I was so close to visiting Japan one point myself. I had experience with modeling and in late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the facial likeness role of Leon for the Resident Evil 2 Remake. I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part and I can't forgive myself for wasting such an opportunity to visit Asia...Great channel!
Lowkey it’s just stealing and referencing from hip hop and African American culture also street wear which was made popular by black Americans so no reason to go to Japan where it’s done in America. lol nothing new but great clothes but it’s not original or ground breaking
I am a long time fan and I have taken so much inspiration from your videos and I visit Japan yearly. I used to buy BAPE and Supreme. Now I buy Human Made, Noah and Momotaro. I like other more mature Japanese styles and I consider myself a mature hype beast (at the age of 42). I still have hype sneakers but I will stop buying them since I have too much and I don't really collect, I like using my stuff. I saw Always Out of Stock however I wasn't familiar with the brand but thanks to you when I go back to Japan I would buy some pieces.
@@DressForAfrica i don't know about Carhartt but I can tell you that Human Made is Asian sizing. I am small in western brands and I buy medium size from Human Made.
Hey, I checked out the brand Seveskig, after seeing your video. Their Seveskig Evangelion collection is really cool, especially the black t-shirt with the Evangelion art in the front. However it is sold out in my size. What other Japanese brands make t-shirts with anime prints and also high clothing material / high quality construction?
Would love to see your take on „youtuber“-fashion brands! Since you already touched on that topic, it heavely raised my interest on it! I, myself for example am a huge fan of the work from sanj & bareknuckles!
Haha I’m so glad I saw this comment, the dude even said “caveat” at the start of the video and I thought it was foreshadowing, it’s almost like they’ve purposely kept themselves low-key and maintained such a loyal audience at the same time. Incredible brand!
I'm really missing BoTT (Birth Of The Teenager) on this list. I think this brand is really the new school and people line up for their stuff internationally. Do your homework Reggie :)
Brother, these are all lame. Making a regular t shirt with good stitching and quality with a slogan slapped on it isn’t impressive. “Girls don’t cry” “Human made” “xxx”. Super cliche
Bruh these brands are so mainstream you might as well show us Uniqlo, get someone who actually knows Japanese brands and their sub-culture and to just read hypebeast ffs.
First, we know the brands but clearly you want to dig even deeper. We could do that and have done that in the past but seeing as how their is this “purity test” on Japanese streetwear (which honestly is laughable) we’ve moved on from streetwear as a whole network. There is absolutely NOTHING we can do when there are people who apparently know more than the average populous and feel we should be talking about Yoshiokubo and name. more. Let’s stop the nonsense and understand that not everyone knows what you may know.
Would love to see your recommendations for JP brands for those approaching their 40s.
Basically maturely looking street wear, etc
I’m in my mid 50s and wear lots of Orslow and Engineered Garments
@@davidbram EG is definitely one, luv what they doing. Have been eyeing Orslow fatigue pants 👖.
Good calls
YEAH.. PLEASE do so , !!!!! @thecasual 👏🏾
Always sick when you shine a light underrated or unknown brands. Love your vids!
More KIDILL please! I really love it. Thank you for putting me on!
Man this background feels like one of your old videos lol i love it
as for an answer, i definitely want to see you cover Requal/RequaL≡(リコール)!

Loved this video. Huge fan of Human made and FR2.
Im interested in these others now.

You should still visit someday! Just got back yesterday. Best travel destination. I go twice a year.

That's great stuff! Thanks for sharing. How do Human Made shirts fit, compared to maybe, Carhartt WIP?

@@e36boy okay thank you!
Casually killin the game>>>>>>>
really good video homie
Reggie - tell us more about the linearity in Japanese fashion!
Day 1 of asking for an updated Brand Review of Cav Empt
I'll deliver pro quality audio for a small ad at the end of your videos to promote my brand. Respect brother. (This is an alternate account)
Your denim jacket is sick
Seveskig gets me excited like when I discovered white mountaineering
Hey, I checked out the brand Seveskig, after seeing your video. Their Seveskig Evangelion collection is really cool, especially the black t-shirt with the Evangelion art in the front. However it is sold out in my size.

I want that cardigan with the circles on.
Drop a in depth for each one. Super 🔥
Kidll with the metal gear solid reference 👌
love blackeyepatch

The more Cav Empt gets ignored in these lists, the better I like it. I have a cap with a duck. I'll take that techno-hellscape design for my tees.

These brands are so cool!
I would like to know your opinion on Old Joe brand, I was recently in Japan and thought it was a cool brand.
It is cool one.. Even I only seen it through Instagram
I don’t like how these clothes don’t show love for big people
Hahaha…in the Bay, you can easily find Blvck Scale pieces in the sale bin
Im tryna get that eva seveskig cardigan for months 🤦🏾♂️

Putomayo is so underrated
What about Edwin???
The truth is korean brands are pulling ahead culturally and creatively
No one ever discuss about indonesian streetwear??
Because it’s ghey
Because it’s ghey

Oh man I'm early.
I don’t like the “Gears for futuristic teenagers.” Does anyone else think that looks weird on anyone age 20+ or is it just me ?
Damn Mega and Reggie beef🤔
it seems as a post III War World's attire
No Meek Mill
