In 1981, six years after joining Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks went solo for the first time with her debut album ‘Bella Donna’. A massive success, it sold more than five million copies in the U.S., topped the album charts and produced four hit singles, including her signature anthem, "Edge Of Seventeen." More platinum albums followed - ‘The Wild Heart’ (1983), ‘Rock A Little’ (1985), and ‘The Other Side Of The Mirror’ (1989).
In 2019, Stevie Nicks made history by becoming the first female artist inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice - first as a member of Fleetwood Mac in 1998, and most recently in recognition of an extraordinary solo career that spans nearly 40 years.

Whole Lotta Trouble earned Stevie a Grammy-nomination for Best Female Rock Vocal but she lost to Black Velvet by Alannah Myles. Stevie was also nominated in this category for Edge of 17, Stand Back, Talk to Me & Planets of the Universe.
This video was recorded in Houston Texas at the Summit which is no longer. Recorded after the concert. I was there and think it took 3 takes to get it filmed.

So I was given an MRI on Nov. 6 to find a tumor and it's Black Friday. The VA lost the results. Not the first time the government lost my medical records. Missouri legalized medical marijuana and the MRI report could be evidence that cannabis works to kill cancer. These things always sort themselves out, usually after the patient is gone. Prayers are appreciated since it usually takes a miracle to work these things out. Stevie's the veteran's angel as well. Don't mess with angels.

I remember this style of video- from the Red Rocks tour, where they took actual concert footage and mixed in rehearsed stage shots with dubbed in music tracks. It's too bad they just didn't release the actual concert videos without all the posing for the camera stuff.

@@HoursaDay she was off the coke by 1989. also she said for the "Rock A Little" tour (where Red Rocks was filmed) she was doing the bare minimum coke because her doctor told her she might die her next hit. It was really the early years with FM when she was high as a kite. This is just the style of videos at the time. 80s were all about high production values.

@@AdamHaley mkay, just wondering. Just the performances in 86 were very wild, I find it odd that there wouldn’t have been an increase in the coke use.
Obviously, like she says, "When I want something, I get it..." I would guess she meant it, even though these are simply lyrics to her song...and, similarly, when she doesn't, I guess, although it's a bit confusing. I wish Stevie the best.
