The race committee is literally killing the AC. A fantastic class of flying gliders has been designed. Spectacular (and very expensive) gliders designed to fly in particular wind conditions, and then races are validated in marginal wind conditions, good only for "optimist" class races. The initial concept has been completely overturned.
The race committee has their hands tied. They have to run the races in alignment to the rule and the rules state the wind limit was passed so the race goes ahead. But yes, this is a joke. I’m a fan of light air sailing but when a random puff or lull influences speed differences of 25-30 knots it takes away from the skills of the sailors and the performance of the boats.

If the Race Committee continues to green light races in less than marginal conditions and results are determined because of poor race management decisions then the America's Cup will become a farce very quickly. Does anyone else hate the constant racket, or whirring noise of the hydraulics on these vessels rather than the pleasant lapping of waves on the bow of the traditional monohulls? The noise on these new-age race boats is kind of off-putting.
Sad end for the flagship of sail racing... see the 2 boats sailing backwards instead of pointing to the next door just because if not on the foil they cant sail at all... Nor we can see any sailor here, just helmets inside small boxes. RIP America's Cup

Regata pazzesca segnata anche dalla fortuna. Ma indubbiamente sono stati più bravi loro. Sono riusciti a risalire più volte sui foil
