"Hate" just dropped, it should go right to the top of your list next for Misa's and Kanami's spectacular guitar duel. Band-Maid's rhythm section is unbelievable!
That instrumental break down is what makes it Band-Maid. You may not have noticed but other Japanese bands particularly, have started composing songs in the BM style and including more solo's and bringing the bass forward in the mix etc- The BM effect.
Band-Maid just dropped a new live video for "Hate?", and it's epic! It's from this same performance in the Yokohama Area, capping their 10th Anniversary Tour in Nov 2023! The Queen walking her court here, then MISA and Kanami are doing the epic back and forth with Akane doing perfect fills to accent the guitars!
Saiki was absolute FIRE! throughout the whole concert. She's never sounded so good. MISA and Kanami weren't too shabby either. HAHA. Also love the accents by Akane during the battle. And lets not forget our pigeon, Miku, bringing it all together with her rhythm guitar and harmonizing vocals. Many thanks for your continued reactions and support of these fabulous ladies. Cheers!
Tho DYTM Yokohama has the best Maid stage presence & spectacle, Zepp Tokyo 2018 has the more tuneful & melodic Kanami/MISA conversation. I don't care really cos you can't go wrong with any version of this song.🤗

I believe the ladies are releasing another LIVE track from Yokohama tonight...Could possibly be HATE?..which also has a MISA Kanami conversation like at Lollapalooza.
I agree with the Page comment. Those big bends are so characteristic of him, but she does other things that are pure Kanami ... like alternating a melody with an open string (pedal point). And MISA with that fat bass sound ... so satisfying!
As I watch this reaction, I am waiting for the Premiere of their newest, which from the thumbnail looks like Hate? from Yokohama Arena, but I'm hoping it will be DICE-Hate?. If it is only Hate? though I will still enjoy it. But you guys should check it out yourselves because if it is both or just the one, it still SMASHES!! 60 year old rocker. Grew up with the great guitar rock of the 70's and 80's. These girls have moved to the top of my favorites list. Love the Maids.
