I live north of the 49th parallel and tomatillos here are not exactly mainstream so to switch I use pickled green tomatoes that my wife makes in the fall with all the tomatoes we grow that haven't ripened. Beautiful taste, try as a pizza topping, yum.
So simple, so awesome and all ingredients are just about our daily staple. Optional ingredient on my end would be a chipotle pepper or two with adobo sauce.
just watching for support , I have a good recipe I make for this but I do have a couple avocados laying around so I might have to do chicken tacos tomorrow with home made tortillas and some of this creamy green goodness . Thanks for sharing Mike , happy to see you growing on here for all your hard work , I made some bul-dak ramen tonight and it was delicious .
I wouldn't bottle this at home with the avocado, though you can look into pressure canning. You can try a water bath method, but it probably needs more acidity, like more citrus.
I wonder if tinned tomatillos would work for this? I tried growing some in 2024 but the UK summer was so awful, all my chilli and tomatillo plants failed. I’m going to give it a go again in 2025.

Looks amazing, chef!! This kind of sauce goes so good with something like rotisserie chicken, beans/rice, and nachos

Cannot wait to try this. I have a Mexican/tex mex restaurant in Philippines and i am constantly trying to bring the real flavors here.
Love it. Enjoy!
Easy and delicious is my favorite. Thanks a lot brother.
Love this Salsa, its my favorite. Thank you.
Is this just used as a dip or are there other uses. Love your channel!
Thanks! I like it a lot as a topping for sandwiches, but it's also nice mixed into a salad.
Realy testing this resept🤘😎🤘😜
This would be great on chilaquiles or on top of an omelet.
Enjoy!
Looks like my version only I roast the tomatillos, garlic, onion and jalapeños or soranos.
What would you need to do to bottle this for long term storage?

@@ChiliPepperMadness thank you for the insight. I really enjoy your channel and the hot sauce recipes, which i tweak slightly for my liking.

Yep! This will work with tinned tomatillos. Fresh is always better, but none at all is worse! Let me know how it turns out for you.
