Bloody good clip guys. I am buying one. Bathroom getting a reno so we will be showering in the backyard for three weeks and caravan is gone now so need a camping shower setup.
What is the pressure like? A lot of the other portable hot shower products have terrible pressure. In the future could you make a quick video showing the different shower head settings, or how it handles washing mud off of something? Otherwise great review!
Great video, well explained thank you! Just to clarify, how do you recharge the unit? Do you just plug it into a powered cig socket and it will recharge?
I loved mine when it worked. My first one had a problem with the brains which companion repaired under warranty. Now my unit will not ignite. I have located the issue is that the igniter never comes on. It has good gas and can be operated if I use an igniter wand. Unfortunately companion won’t even return my emails to try and fix this issue. I cannot recommend as it has failed twice for me in only a few dozen uses.
@@our4x4adventure18 cheers mate. I did not long see a video of a hose connection with a regulator on it. But when i looked to buy one. No shop has them in stock. I still purchased the aquaheat i will just use a bucket like in your vid. Cheers mate.
too bad it has a giant handle that doesn't collapse. I dont get why companies design these "compact" camping products then put huge handles on top that don't fold away.
2.5l/m. If you drill out the tiny restrictor in the shower rose you might get 3l/m. No matter the pump size it will still only flow at about a max of 3l/m. I hooked up a 6l/m pump and the flow rate was still about 3. It’s still usable for a shower. A 20l Bunnings bucket will give you a 5 minute shower. If you’re after massive flow rate look at the Evershower.

This will be perfect for that, have done the same ourselves, camping at home 🤣
Cool - good to know you had a Joocla for comparison - thanks for the review.
Both excellent showers
Awesome review guys!!!
Great video guys. Thanks. How do you find the waterflow? I’m as bald as a billiard ball, but how about washing and rinsing hair? (Missus)
good vid mate im looking for a new set up i have the gas tap and it does my head in cheers

Thanks for the vid guys. Can you hook up a hose straight to a tap. So it doesn't need the pump? Or is filling the bucket the best option
We havnt tried with this one, I guess you could, we hooked to the tap with our joolca. I'll try it and report back haha

Curious to know how these units are fairing? Their aquacube has terrible reviews and no available parts
How do you recharge the unit? Thanks
3cm thinner and it would have fit in my build perfectly
If your build was 30 mm bigger it would have fit perfectly
Я вами горжусь ребята🙂👏👍
Has anyone found a magnetic showerhead holder?
called kakadu in usa

how much heat comes off the top of the unit ?
Not much that we have seen yet
How do you charge the battery
You can charge off 12v or 240v
So the elephant in the room..... what is the flow rate? How many gallons/liters per minute of hot water can it supply?
