  • Hot Water Showers at camp! This is a luxury almost expected these days when out camping. Luckily, in this video, I will show you all an amazing product from Companion. The Companion AquaHeat Portable Shower.
    Sit back, grab a drink and let's have a chat and take a look at what might just be, the BEST Hot Water camping shower on the market today!
    This all in one unit has everything folks! Even the carry bag that you can get for it, has everything you need, and is waterproof!
    The flow rate and pressure of this unit is great, and the fact that the unit heats the water for your shower within 3 seconds, is simply amazing... saving you HEAPS of water!
    Some of you who follow the channel will know that I have had previous experience with Companion and their shower range... I have previously owned the Companion AquaCube Hot Water Shower, and that thing was, and still is, a dream! My reason for moving over to the AquaHeat... size. This AquaHeat is half the size of the AquaCube, but still packs the same punch when it comes to heating up water for your shower!

    The Shower Tent you can see in this clip, I have had for 3 years now, and it is still going strong! The OzTrail Ensuite Single has been nothing but fantastic. I have had this thing set up in some MASSIVE winds and storms... and it has survived everything thrown at it!

    To anyone that thinks your a crazy for having modcons I have an old infantry saying “ any fool can be uncomfortable in the bush “ I for one absolutely love all the new camping gear that’s came out lately and congratulations to the manufacturers and retailers 👍👍👏👏👏. Currently at Wellington seeing the grandkids after a fantastic Easter at Colac Colac with a tribe of 28 people ❤️🐣. Not real sure where to next , kind of spoilt for choice, we have mates In Bathurst and a long lost auntie just south of Newcastle so maybe that way I’m thinking 😂😂😂 I know indiscriminate thinking should not be tolerated. Another great clip 👍stay strong 👁👁😃😃🐕‍🦺❤️🇦🇺

      yeah absolutely mate... one of the best things about camping, is the way that everyone has their own way to camp. Some people will love the hot water shower, some will prefer a dip in the freshwater creek to wash off... each to their own, that's what makes it great! Camping gear has come a heck of a long way, that's for sure... but doesn't mean you NEED all of the things. 28 people mate?! Hooley dooley! That's a gathering and a half! haha - Love the fact that you are just essentially making it up as you go. Just make sure to keep a certain month free for a trip up to the border for the next camp out mate... details on Sunday on my livestream mate! Be sure to tune in! Great to hear from you mate! Glad you had a great Easter! 👍

    I like how you buy these products and review, I also think if it is your second then you are a genuine fan. I am looking at getting one of these for the up coming school holidays camping trip. I like this unit because it is all there, no extra pump to buy and then a separate power source.
    Good review 👏, I am now subscribed. Great stuff Rob.

    240v charger is an optional extra now

    • @TheWandererAUS
      @TheWandererAUS  Рік тому +1

      yeah, I had heard that it was optional now... For campers who have a setup that they have to load up their vehicle each time, I think the 240v charger is a great addition, that way it can charge at home and be ready to go when you load up to go camping! 👍

    Nice video 👍🏼
    Do you think that the « Aqua heat » is better then the famous « Rinsekit Cube » ?
    If yes why?
    Thanks by advance.

    • @TheWandererAUS
      @TheWandererAUS  Рік тому +1

      G'day mate! Thanks for the kind words 😊 - I haven't used the Rinsekit Cube, and just had a quick look online and I'm not sure it's even available in Australia at this point. Looking online, it looks like a great little unit that one... But from what I read, that one doesn't heat the water? (I could be wrong of course). Unfortunately I can't comment on if this unit is better than that one. From what I have read tho, obviously the AquaCube heats the water, not sure if the Rinsekit one does. Hope this helps in some way, and thanks again for saying g'day! 👍 Cheers, Rob 🤠

    The pump is too bulky and I couldn't find a jerry can that has an opening big enough for the pump. So I have to pour water into a bucket before I can use it. Why can't they use a suction pump like others do? Then I can just connect directly to the water tank and mount it permanently.

    • @TheWandererAUS
      @TheWandererAUS  Рік тому +2

      Hey mate, thanks for checking out the video and leaving a comment. 👍 appreciate that... Yeah the pump is a awkward size, and unfortunately doesn't fit a standard Jerry can as you found out... The container I use, I got from Bunnings and has that large opening at the top. Works a treat! Also means I can seperate my water so I know exactly how much I have for showers vs drinking etc. But yes, the pump size is a bit annoying! A great shower unit tho! 👍

    cheers mate good vid one question you say $350 to 380 ....is that with or without the bag ? or how much do they want for the bag and also do you know off hand how much the 240 vt charger is ...cheers from Queensland north

    • @TheWandererAUS
      @TheWandererAUS  Рік тому

      G'day folks! Thanks for the kind words! 👍 That's without the bag unfortunately. I think the bag was somewhere between 40 and 60 dollars? I honestly can't recall. The bag is brilliant though! The lining inside is fantastic. Also the 240v charger.... I can't recall either 🤣 Bounce around between the camping store websites mate, they are often on sale at great prices 🙂

    Hi mate, i got very hot water from this device, around 40 degree, even though i set the dial all the way to the lowest setting. Any advice to make it more comfortable to shower pls? Thanks

    • @TheWandererAUS
      @TheWandererAUS  9 місяців тому

      Hi mate... hmmm.. interesting. You have the dial towards the left of the device? The dial can be quite touchy with temperatures... only takes a very small turn to get a significant rise in temperature. If it is really hot when you have it turned to the cold setting, just check that the dial is actually turning the metal piece it is attached to. If it isn't turning the metal piece behind the plastic dial, you may need to get it checked over by the store where you purchased it. Let me know how you go mate... would be keen to know the outcome! Cheers, Rob 😎
