‘Show some leadership’: Chris Kenny urges PM to ‘stamp out’ antisemitic hate speech

- Sky News host Chris Kenny has urged Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to show leadership and “stamp out” antisemitic hate speech in Australia.
“The real reason he cannot call out the prejudice and hate speech of the protesters is because for many years, until he became opposition leader, he was one of them,” Mr Kenny said.
“He ran all the usual pro-Palestinian and anti-Israel lines.”
The Sky News host also encouraged all Australians to speak out against hatred and antisemitism following a fundraiser for an organisation which organises security for Jewish institutions.
“It is not good enough that Australians are forced to live like this. Australian Jews are Australians first and they are part of us and we need to do all we can to prevent this,” he added.
“Stop this hatred, stamp out antisemitism and confront and overcome the Islamist extremism that preaches hatred against Jews.
“Many Australians don't see this in their daily lives, I understand that, but maybe you don't see how Australian Jewish communities are forced to live or see the hatred spread through protests, graffiti and posters, often in the inner city areas or the university campuses.”

The unions, the education system, the PS and all the government supported and paid people, the rent-seekers are all on massive wages and support and Labor does to make to keep the voters loyal. As many have notice, Labor doesn't fix problems but just makes announcement to throw money or give a handout to solve problems without any follow up.

He was and maybe still is unaware of the history of Israel, Palestine conflict. He should first learn the history and then pass comments on it. Such a shame for Australia for electing him as a PM.

There is a difference between free speech and hate speech.
Free speech = simply speaking your mind, Hate Speech = speech specifically designed to stir up anger against a specific person or group of people.
Eg 'They need to be held to account' vs 'their blood must flow, fill their streets with the blood of their families'.
