You can just tell that Playerjun is having a ton of fun coming up with new ways to own his opponents

Thanks ShinAkuma for making such great videos, you are making the game better than what it already is a very fun game. When I don't have any anime or movie to watch I hit ur channel and sit back and have a snack and enjoy ur videos. Every time I watch ur videos (especially The Best of) I go straight ahead to my xbx and start playing. So pls keep up the gd work.

@SaiCaI I'm not sure on the reason, but when you delay the Uppercut off of a crumple, you get full Ultra animation instead of just the juggle. I think he mostly did it to be flashy.

"Dragon Punch" or "DP" = a forward, down, diagonal motion done with the control stick/joystick followed by a button input. Usually takes the form of an anti-air/rising strike or a move with high priority.
"Shoryuken" = An anti-air rising uppercut with high priority. Done by moving the control stick/joystick forward, down then diagonal, and pressing one of the punch buttons.
Sorry; I'm failing to see the mistake.
@chanthien99 it was at the end of a 26 hit combo which lowers the damage the longer they get as well as the fact that kens ultra meter was not full.
This is the real Ken. Not that Street Fighter 5 abomination.

@0ShinAkuma0 It is actually a one frame link. The recovery frames after the hadoken are just enought to land that. before the recovery, he would have gotten just an ex srk. it was timed perfectly.

that's because of ken fadcs his HP shoryuken on an airborne opponent, it gets the full animation, and he waited for the airborne portion of the crumple state before doing his fadc shoryuken.

@mike0ike13 It is not a reset. Ken's SRK into ultra will full hit in 2 ocasions:
1 - When counter hit something;
2 - While hit on mid air;
After some frames, when you hit someone with focus attack, it is considered mid air. So, he jumps just to adjust the time to hit the focus in the mid air frames than he get the full hits ultra, with of course, more damage.
This guys Ken is relentless... This is definitely the ken to emulate if you want to be a good ken player.

@ClickForOutkast He stuffed whatever move Rufus was going to do with cl.rh, and because its a counter hit it allowed U1 to connect.
This dude is a very fun player to watch. He loves to FADC and it makes for great viewing. Super Stylin!!!

@0ShinAkuma0 So at 0:55 he uses the light fireball to meet with dudleys shoved back hitbox to give him just enough time for the dash to meet with the newly created hit stun the fireball created for the ultra to connect right shin?

It's because if you jump over the player, this delays the dp making it a counter hit dp so you get the full ultra not just the shinryuken

@0ShinAkuma0 Well, it does look like both were counter hits, but looking at Dudley's inputs he's either holding down back or the stick is in neutral and he's not pressing anything... seems more likely he'd be blocking or doing a move right? :S
@kryptonkandor Ummmmm, Lol.. not really sure to be honest, i remember the comments on the video though, I think people were saying that it only worked because it was a counter-hit... The same way he got the ultra on SAULABIS from a st.MK. both were counter-hits i believe.

@ClickForOutkast Yes, the counter hit gives you enough frame advantage to link into Ultra 1. Its a pretty tight link, and you can see from his input you need to have crazy reactions to see "oh shit that was counter hit, time for Ultra!"

@chanthien99 it was the damage scaling, after that many hits, a stun, a lvl 3 focus, more hits, and then the ultra, it was probably only doing like 5% normal damage

because this mk touched on counter hit. after a counter hit you can make almost everything ....
for exemple if you look tokido's videos you can see that he can make an HK after a 2MP only if the 2MP is on counter hit

@rugalck isnt it with shoto,, with smashing buttons, they get more punish (in a fail uppercut.. lets say..) than charge char whose always sitting? but still i think the most challenging chars to use are the ones like zangief and t.hawk and blanka.. i found them very difficult to play and dhalsim too..
@Suetakefan xD, don't you talk about the Ultra on Rufus which didn't kill him?
There is actually a reason for that, if you jump over the player, this delays the dp making it a counter hit dp so you get the full lol,lol,lol ultra not just the shinryuken, you can replace the jump over with a taunt for added style points.

In the first match with him against Dhalsim, how come he paused slightly before doing the SRK FADC to Ultra?
When he jumps after a focus attack is he creating a reset or is he doing it by accident ?

It's where you cancel a move into a throw to give it more range. In this case it's Ken's towards st.forward xx throw.
@chanthien99 The scaling starts at 4:34 which NO WHERE near the ultra so the damage will be ass
@Fokadox yeah, he's seen it...Tokido and Uryo also saw their "best of" vids i made for them, both Uryo and Tokido actually sent me messages on xbox live thanking me for it, it was pretty cool. :)
@spardaelisyum he uses hori because is a garanteed way to link up your combos, instead of throwing a very unreliable hadoken that can be countered by a lot of moves, the fierce hori has a huge horizontal travel distance and is much faster than kens hadouken, this videos makes me feel so stupid for using hadoken instead of fierce hori until now, thks for the video shin XD
This guy is so agressive with ken like ken should be, but at the same time hes clever so he doesnt get caught out. Really good player

i can confirm that momochi lost against wao in a set 3-2 around 4-5 months back in a ken mirror.

i respect this ken more than any other ken. This guy does not zone, spam shoryuken or spam fireballs. This guy attacks you with skill, penetration, and doesnt give you a chance. This is how SF should be played.

@kosthoj Thats not realy fair to say. The shoryuken is ken's best move and he is using it in all kinda combos, he could have done the tatsumaki but that doesnt knock him on the ground like ryu's tatsumaki does. ryu has more variations because his tatsumaki and his ex hadouken causes the oponent to hit the ground however ken isnt realy known for his great hadoukens and his ground tatsumaki isnt that great either compared to his shoryuken. his air tatsumaki is great though.
Definitely my favorite SSF4 player.

training mode combo + match win as a result = godlike player.
i have to admid it, playerjun is one of the most impressive sf players, altough i cannot hate ken, the most spammer character in the game . IMO

@niyok671 frame trap. if dudley follows up with any input ken can get in for a free combo. Look at the frame data for both players
