@@craigdavid6668 Having owned both I can tell you the Defender is ridiculously capable and no one is a 'tosser' for driving that or any other car. As for resale, the Defenders all are worth more second hand than new because people want them and cant get them... Your only point that probably holds true is reliability, but lots of people are happy to drive a less reliable vehicle that is more exciting. To each their own I say!
Prado will stay top 🎉🎉
Everest Platinum
GREATJOB FORD!!
Honestly I'd prefer to pick up a 2 year old VW Touareg with 3 years of remaining warranty...much better to drive than either of these two...as long as its not going to be used as a full on touring vehicle of course.
Even with that warranty you’ll be furious when you’re getting it repaired every 8 weeks……
@@craigdavid6668 Touregs are fine if maintained and driven properly.
@@anthonyfarnan5935 Ah, so don’t tow, warm it up, don’t exceed 2000rpm and don’t drive in summer, no worries👍
@@craigdavid6668 this test specifically excluded towing.
Tengo una duda cual es mejor La Titanium o la Platino.Y por favor hagan reseñas en español no domino aún el ingles
My money on toyota...everytime
Both of this engine are more than powerful they can be trusted for off-road and long distance and for locally 😍🥰🤗🤗🤗
No heads up display on these expensive 4x4 is unbelievable . Seats needed to be perfect comfortable on both of these as well . Overall they are just ok . Prado dash is just too old school basic for 2023/ 24 . You can see Toyota cut lots of corners to maximise profits , lot's of shrinkflation going on hoping the average punters won't notice , give you less charge you more is the new normal today on with many car popular brands today .
must include mahindra scorpion in this comparision
Everest will stay in service center for ever with issues one after another. Prado is toooo outdated... Both waste of money!😔
Top review…exact reasons why I didn’t buy an Everest
Ha ha, wir nehmen den Ford 👍.. auch kein Nissan.
No centre console fridge in everest.. best option in prado!
Ford 👍💪💪
Ford products are shut before Toyota
you know that you’re comparing an Everest to a Land Cruiser that is legendary right ? Not even a comparison in my opinion.
Always PRADO
Too bad you could do a ten year overall test-the Toyota will win on reliability and resale
Prado for me, but in gxl trim.
They need a Trd pro version in solar octane
The fact of the matter is the Prado is a class higher than the Everest but still not a better car, the direct rival to the Everest in the Toyota range is the Fortuner🤦🏾♂️… which won’t even hold a candle to this Everest
I m in one of the ford ranger groups, seems lots issue with the new ranger.😂 how often you see a20 years old ford on road compared to Toyota lol..they are boring and handle like boat but it last for a decade and cheap to run.
What's this got to do with the 2022 Ford Everest & Prado?
@@Josh92SA the fact that the Toyota will tow the Ford to the junk yard in 10 years time.
TOYOTA ❤👍🏻 LANDCRUISER
The Everest is a better choice for sure
Why is that?
Problem with Toyota is they have no idea how to make cars look good. The Prado just needs a quality facelift with modern tech interior it would be the best in class again.
I can’t wait till someone launches a class action against toyota or some of these advertisements if they are paid for. When a family member is killed in a sub standard safety vehicle, sold as a competitor against a higher safety standard vehicle with out being told all the facts. Eg,
Land cruiser Ute only tested in single cab variants not dual cab no safety rating never advertised.
Toyota vans sold up to 2021 against many vans with way higher safety standards never advertised but pushed as a competitor against the better safer vehicles.
Current Hilux same issues.
Current prado same issues.
See the pattern here,
xc90 t8 blows both clear out of the water
Toyota hands down for reliability
