When you tapped into those side markers does it make them a turn signal or just the running

I did this with my 03, then replaced all my bulbs with leds. The turn signal causes my bottom drl strip to turn off when I have it in, but not the top. Anyone have this problem or a fix? I wired my headlights the exact same as the video

What if my headlights wires are red nd black instead of black and white ?? Would I still connect my black wire to the blue and the red to the brown

I wouldn’t buy them if I were you. The Amazon ones have issues leaking condensation and if you look at the top of the headlight in the video, they’re is no high beam adjuster
