- In this video I will show you when I set up a bioactive terrarium for a leopard gecko (Eublepharis macularius). I will also give a brief explanation of what I think about loose substrate for leopard geckos. If there is anything that you think I'm doing wrong, please let me know in the comments. Hopefully this video can inspire someone out there that is trying to set up a bioactive setup for their leopard gecko.

I agree, you can keep a leopard geckos on loose substrate... I've crept mine for more than a year and everything is fine...

Looks really good ! I’ve got a food dish like that for crickets.I pull the back legs off lol so they don’t jump out . Else they get everywhere 🙈Looks like Nugget loves her new home 😊
