Did a great job on these. Thanks for sharing.
Jules those were Beautiful ideals!!!! Love them
I did this one last year, I even put lights beautiful, still have it., but you decorate beautiful.
Love your ideas. The foam coolers was a brilliant idea. Been wanting to make the topiaries for awhile. Stopped by a garage sale just as she was closing and she gave me a bowling ball which I’m going to make into a globe for outdoors, and 2 pots with pedestals which I’m now going to use to make the Topiaries. Mahalo for your ideas. Aloha
Mahalo Donna hope they came out great

Brilliant idea to use the soldering iron to 'melt' out the hole on the bottom of the ornament.

I decorated my church and made these. All my materials were from dollar tree except the ornaments were from the drugstore I only paid $10 @ they came together packaged so I bought 2 of them and used Santa buckets from dollar tree
Yaaass
Jules this is great! You've just added to y outdoor decorations this year!
Awesome welcome to my channel
awesome thanks for sharing
Beautiful
So cool 👍👍👏👏👏
I have these tacky plastic one dollar store planters they would be perfect.
There very pretty ,can’t want to try ,
Cut the little nob off of the top of each ornament so they set flush and even on top of one another.
Much more of a finished look.
I agree they will be so much better fitting flush like the 2 bottom ones..you'll love it too once you see it with a more finished look..
Love the video
Cute luv your video.
Very lovely thanks
Oh my! I am new to your channel and really enjoyed watching you build your Topiary! Really beautiful!

This is why I always buy the decorations when Christmas is over because the extra things I get I can use for this year ..... BRING ON THIS YEAR CHRISTMAS. DIY. And lucky me I have pots that my husband bought me and I’m going to use them for this idea ..... WHERE CAN I BUY THE HUGE ORNAMENTS
I bought then at Michela and home Depot on sale
Thank you 😊
Lol Michael's that is
I saw some last year in my neighborhood DT! Keeping an eye out this year. Would love to have a set of these!
I’ve always loved these topiaries at Grandin Road but just couldn’t bring myself to pay so much money for them. So thanks for showing me how to make them for so little.

Maybe you might want to cut the tips off your last three bulbs for a snug fit not leaving that large gap…till cute
I did it for height purposes
it would look good with light
I am new to the channel And I think I like everything I see is beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
Welcome love
MAKING THESE TODAY!!!!
Send me a pic
I just found your channel. May try this because the 99 Cent Only and Dollar Tree has Lg Ornaments.
Welcome love send me a picture if you make it. Thanks for subbing
What is the name of the urn with the built in, inner dowel holder?
Got them at Goodwill they had Christmas flowers in them
Beautiful..
Is A Soldering Iron the same as A Wood burning tool ..you know the tool you cut Deco Mesh with ?
I m not sure love that might be an attachment I have a full set with all kinds of pieces
Luv your ideas. Where did you find all the ornaments.? I know the dollar stores have some but the pointed ones not sure?
Michael's, Lowe's hobby lobby
Hi ! I saw your comment on Rebecca Robeson Design so I came to see what you were doing. I like the Topiary, I will try to watch as many as I can tonight if I like what I see I will Subscribe. :)
So lovely!!
Well done! Btw do I recognize IV tape? 😉
Yes mam... Best cold resistant and moisture resistant tape I know jaja
😍
That is such a great idea and I was looking for some new projects for Christmas this year. Thanks for sharing this great idea
How long were your dowel rods, where did you purchase them, where did you get your ornaments?
I got the disk at Walmart the orange tip... And ornaments from Michael's and Lowe's
Lol the dowel
i was wondering where she got those large Christmas bulbs too
@@judykaymossbulbs at Lowe's two yrs ago
I wish you were mention where you got your supplies and how much each one was.
It in the description I got them in a few places Michel's Lowe's hobby lobby on sale pots at Goodwill
Wow you’re smart
Thank you so much
Where did you get the large ornaments from?
I think I’ve seen them at Target or Walmart.
Great video. Where did u find your large bulbs. Thanks
Found in Michaels and Lowe's
Im going to have to try this year with my yard sale finds! Also...where'd you find the music? Cheerful and not obnoxious.
UA-cam list id love to see it
Love the cooler gift boxes and it's time-saving. I am going to do this idea for sure. I just need a cheap way to weight the boxes down since we get harsh winters in Michigan.
So do I.. Just add rocks I got mine at the hospital I work for they had ice packs used to keep meds cold in them they weighed it down
Honey get it painted, place it exactly where you want it outside, put some rocks in just for weight, then tie your bow or ribbon on!
where did you buy the foam boxes?
Im a medical assistant and they use them to transport refrigerated meds...
🎄🎁🎍
I think if you turned the ornaments upside down you could make the hole bigger an they would fit together better
Great idea ..
Where can I find the large ornaments! I have been looking and I can't find them
Michael's Lowe's and Joan's
New to your channel, let stay connected
well welcome...yes please do
Where did you get the pots?
Goodwill
You need to give dimensions of ornaments, dowel rod you used. Thanks.
Not sure purchased in home depot Large Ornaments the dowels are 1/2 inch
@@DIYwithJulesSoto , thank you for your response. Very helpful.

Love the idea of using cooler boxes as gift boxes. I have those cheap plastic table clothes with felt backing. I would use those to cover the coolers to look like wrapping paper.
Really love the Topiary!!
Good idea! Probably cheaper than buying two cans of spray paint
Love this diy. Where did you find your urns? I’ve been looking for a couple inexpensive ones for outside my front door.
I found them in a thrift store
i use a glue gun to melt holes works better and large wooden bbq scewers
Thank you for saying you use a glue gun to melt holes b/c I certainly do NOT have a soldering iron!
Did not know sotter iron would do that
Where did you get giant ornaments?
What is purpose of tape?
I would scrub all that glitter off and painted like the others
Omg i didnt see your question ok ornaments at micheals tape is to stop the ornament its medical and weather proof
Heavens, these ornaments are lovely but does the average person have a soldering iron in their personal possession?
You can also use the tip of a glue gun
You need to put more hot glue in those ornaments they're all they're leaning
I put them against the wall until they dried straight up ... They are still holding up
U could have used napkins rings betweenn each ornament
That's a great idea

You add everything and it’s NOT $20! 🙄
Everything including glue and Ribbon approx 25$ each topiary
Urns $5 Goodwill 2 Large ornaments $5 each, 2 smaller ornaments $3 greenery $1 Dollartree
Half tube glue $3 And Ribbon $1
Did you shop where she shopped 🙄 how da hell do you know
Very nice but do not wear your pajamas doing the videos
thank you but What does me wearing pajamas have to do with you learning how to make the project. It was late and I was comfy and in my house ...
The idea is nice but execution not so much. You should have cut off the tips of the ornaments so when yuh connect they would have been seamless.
i meant for it to be that way to add to height... and i added diamond beads around the two i mentioned it at the end. would love to see your version
Hello there. Nice video. Thank you for sharing. We have DIY video on our channel. New friend here. Warm greetings. Stay connected. God bless!
Hello there thanks so much.. . just subscibe to your channel hope you will subscribe back...
Good idea. Poorly executed. Wrong tools mostly. U could make a perfect sized ,smooth hole with a drill. Also I would cut off the top nobs of each ornament for a more clean professional look. The long wooden stick fitting snug is a must so that the top long ornament doesnt lean and look crooked and home made.
Or you can just buy it....DIY may not be for you...
@@DIYwithJulesSoto no. DIY is for me. But better execution is all I am suggesting. You had a good idea ,but I will likely improve on it. Thank you
Giving the idea is the purpose and your making it is my goal but to be rude is not ...wish you well happy DIYing
@@DIYwithJulesSoto you weren't rude at all. I'm sorry if I was. I've always been taught to be kind to my elders so that wasnt my intention. Have a wonderful holiday!
xXMr.e doodXx orrrr you could keep it pushing and watch another video , if you don’t like it move on. No need to criticize it because it not what you would do. You “tried
To be nice “ but really just came across as a dickwad
junky
What was junky? The topiaries or the coolers?
@@BiancaMH I said the same thing
You have an option to watch or not to watch the video I see you watched it...if that your comment and your thoughts about the video than, make a video yourself maybe you think you could do better, then try it.. and stop trying to make people feel bad for sharing. Your a troll a nasty evil troll. People Usually watch these videos and add their own touches.
I think they work or own the company that's trying to steal our money on the expensive ones...ya think
They are truly awful.
Well can't please everyone...😉
