Hello Patricia! Thanks for stopping by and commenting! Do the collars on your reindeer light up as well? I love how they look at night with all the lights dimmed. They are absolutely gorgeous! Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Love your ideas ...everything looks so elegant and expensive...as a DIY'er myself i love when i find someone with fresh innovated ideas..thank you for sharing..you showed what a true DIY'er you are when you suggested saving the mirror tiles for future projects...lol
I think it's a good idea for a wedding as well a winter wedding so dollar trees going to start having all of their Christmas balls out real soon I think I should get some and make something similar for a winter wedding
Very interesting the way you made the candle ball stand for the Holidays. I plan on trying this project it will save me some money on purchase items I can't afford. Thanks you for sharing your gift of talented. God bless always
This is so vivid and blooming... it looks like an item you would buy out of the stores. You're so enterprising and this was so brilliant and it looked elegant on your table.
This turned out very pretty. I would suggest a drill with a slightly undersized drill bit. It would just take seconds. Also, for the balls where you had to "guess" where the hole was on the opposite side and then mark with a sharpie, just stick the dow rod thru. Where it bulges on the other side, is the exact center. This way your topiary will be guaranteed to be straight and even. TFS!!
Thanks for stopping by and commenting! With a drill bit, you would have to be very careful because of its power. The phillips screwdriver is the best choice because you can control the intensity as you are drilling. A couple of the balls are plastic so just punching through would have caused the entire ball to crack. Yes, the dowel rod does help it remain straight and it is a great idea to incorporate a dowel rod for outside usage as well. Happy Holidays!
Hi Tamela! I realize you did this tutorial last year but I'm just finding your channel. I love the topiary🎉! I appreciate and respect your professional demeanor. It's needed in today's society. I also want you to know I love both the granite counter top lazy suzy and the menu chalk board! I plan to do similar versions, of all three this winter... I'll inform you when I do. Until then please know you have a lot to offer just as you are. As long as it don't interfere with you personal life. Keep giving what you can when your able. God bless and keep you always, Regina.
Hello Cynthia! Glad you loved the DIY. I think they may have some of the glass mosaic ball ornaments available but you better hurry to your local Hobby Lobby before they run out! Have a Merry Christmas!
I find using the wooden rod just so great for uniformity and really works out well... Topiary is to-pi-ar-y with accent on the o, i and y Excellent job ❤️
Using a drill would only take a second to get the correct size holes. No having to chip away, and will go right through. This is beautiful though, can't wait to make one...or two...
Burn a scented candle while working to put you in the mood. It also works to put your screw driver or metal skewer through to heat up and melt the plastic. If you have a skewer and a couple of different sized screw drivers you'll easily break through with little effort. Just heat the tip.
YOU DID A GREAT JOB..I DONT KNOW WHY THESE A-HOLES HAVE SOMETHING NEGATIVE TO SAY ABOUT EVERYTHING..YOU DID EVRYTHING PROFESSIONAL AND CORRECT..AND YOUR DECOR AROUND IT PULLS TOGETHER BEAUTIFULLY.. I LOVE THE SILENT NIGHT !! SO PEACEFUL...PAY NO ATTENTION TO ALL THE LAZY JEALOUS HATERS/ GRINCHES...WOW..THEY NEED TO GROW UP
Beautiful! I made a $6 Dollar Tree only version of this on my channel without having to put holes in the middle, but I like this version for giant ones that I'm thinking of making for my front porch. The dowel rod seems like it would make them sturdier for outside. I love those reindeer you have! Thanks for sharing, and have a beautiful holiday season! 🎄-Amirah
Thanks for stopping by and commenting! I will have to check out your version. I am going to make two for outdoors but I will be using a metal rod which will hold up better to the outdoor elements! You too have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
The metal rod sounds great, but this Florida humidity is something else! Plus, we live near the ocean so the salty air is horrible on metal. Our porch is pretty protected from the wind, so maybe I could use a larger wooden dowel. Have a wonderful day! 🎄-Amirah
I definitely want to make an ornament topiary! I probably have some ornaments packed in with my Christmas decorations that I can use. Thanks for the great idea. I’m a brand new subscriber. I can’t wait to go back through your previous videos and binge watch when I have time. 💖 have a great day!
Wow and thanks for that great tip! I am going to do just that when I make a couple of these for my clients. Thanks for watching and commenting! Have a Merry Christmas!
Another great idea too! I wish I had this info ahead to time...LOL! Love your idea and will be sharing this tip in a future video and give you the credit!
So pretty. I have the same reindeers that I purchased from Costco. You have shown me the perfect way to display them!

Beautiful Design. THANK YOU; for being so self explanatory
Wow...absolutely gorgeous. I am going to make one for my fireplace. Thanks for the inspiration.
Omg absolutely gorgeous 😍😍😍
Cute cute cute final product. Could probably use a spade drill bit to make it easier.
Very pretty and easy diy.
Also...the deer...love those!
Love that you used a dowel to stabilize the piece I just watched a video and hers were very wobbly, beautiful but wobbly.
Beautiful!!!! I like the idea of using a dowel rod as opposed to just glueing them. Great job!!!!
Para hacer el hueco sin mucho problema usar un cautín (herramienta para fundir estaño). ¡¡Quedó precioso!!
Hola Wilda Lopez! Muchas gracias! Feliz Navidad!

***** Oh yes, you would have to use a light hand with a drill, that's for sure. I don't know how the drill would do with the Styrofoam?
From previous experience working with styrofoam and a drill...it can get really ugly and messy really quick...LOL!
Are you a cooking channel on UA-cam?
***** No, I don't have videos. I would love to if I had more time. Who know, maybe some day.
This was very cute and festive. Good video also.
Love it! So beautiful!
