@GubLumbo exactly they’re thrill junkies. Likely said to each other let’s go bungee jumping after this. Meanwhile shatner is trying to convey how fragile earth is
The man who has told us for a lifetime about space and finally goes there and really tells us about space. Cool time to live in.
And at his age too.👍
Cant exactly say he went to space, It was just shy of obtaining space flight. As it was stated elsewhere "a suborbital spacecraft that grazed the edge of outer space". Not saying to take away from the experience, but let us keep it to facts though.
The irony is he is basically saying, stay away, embrace the blue ball filled with life against this dark hideous VOID!

What Shatner has seen now and what has already been reported many times by previous Space Explorers is that planet Earth is rare beautiful precious and fragile. But we as a species are treating it's as if it can be replaced or thrown away when we are done with it. The populace that worry and moan about jobs governments economy Sports and free Britney Spears and things of that nature need to go up into space and look down and realize that none of that matters, if you don't take care of the planet.
Mr. Shatner sounded like he discovered the meaning of life. Must be profound.
And his 90 so that's amazing what that did to him
He discovered the earth is flat
The best part of all this was hearing William Shatner eloquently convey the profundity of his experience.
Yeah I agree. That was really amazing to hear him and I was hoping he would go on and on. We need more of this.
I'm so happy that Jeff gave this experience and opportunity to William! So earned and well deserved. And just to finally experience what he use to act out on TV just truly amazon! WAY TO GO!!!

screaming idiots behind him. that just goes to show that for some it's just another roller coaster experience.
While they were floating around, he never stopped staring at the window the whole trip, until it was time to put a seatbelt on. This was a guy, who convinced the world that he was the best man to Captain a ship in space. Now that he got a small glimpse of it, everything he knew or learned in order to play that part, just shattered in front of him.
This is a man uninterested in the thrill. Shatner's words speak of and to the soul.
As they should at what would be a paradigm shift for anyone. Glad he shared that truth often take for granted.
And he’s left to relate his experience to Jeff f*ckin Besos. It’s like describing metaphysics to a banana.

@deak blue source?
@deak blue Irresponsible statement. Wiki: On August 9, 1999, Shatner returned home around 10 p.m. to discover Nerine's body at the bottom of their backyard swimming pool. She was 40 years old. An autopsy detected alcohol and Valium (diazepam) in her blood, and the coroner ruled the cause of death as accidental drowning. The LAPD ruled out foul play, and the case was closed. Speaking to the press shortly after his wife's death, a clearly shaken and emotional Shatner said that she "meant everything" to him, and called her his "beautiful soulmate".[92] Shatner urged the public to support Friendly House, a nonprofit organization that helps women reestablish themselves after suffering from alcoholism and drug addiction.[93] He later told Larry King in an interview that "my wife, whom I loved dearly, and who loved me, was suffering with a disease that we don't like to talk about: alcoholism. And she met a tragic ending because of it."[92]

Really … by contrast Bezos is a dumbfounded android. Shatner brought back something for all of us.

He didn’t pick anything. Two companies put up the money to fund William shatners experience. Bezos is too greedy to give away a ticket, he’s running a business not a charity.
