But I prefer harder rock.
Summer of 1982, 12 years old, riding my Huffy bike to the community pool, Walkman headphones on, jamming to this song... Had the world by the shorthairs.
Saw Brad Gillis on tour as the replacement for Randy Rhoads on one of the Ozzy tours back in 1983 . Nobody can surpass Randy , for sure , but Gillis held his own .
i graduated from high school in 1982. this is quintessential 80s rock. i watched it all, saw it all and it was fabulous. you could do anything in the early 1980s; no one stopped you. there will never be a time like that.
I "witnessed" Night Ranger at a small, now long-gone "Brandywine Club" nightclub in Concordville, Pa., just south of my college in West Chester, Pa., in May of 1984 for their "Midnight Madness" tour. . . The twin guitar attack of Brad Gillis and Jeff Watson blew the lid off the damn joint ! ... Memories !!
Saw them with Triumph back in the day. MAN, what a great show!! UNREAL!! And to think these guys started life as a THREE PIECE FUNK BAND!!! JACK BLADES WAS AND IS A GREAT LARRY GRAHAM STYLE BASS PLAYER!!! RUBICON WAS THE NAME OF THE BAND AND THEY PLAYED AT THE US FESTIVAL AND NOBODY KNEW WHO THE HELL THEY WERE!!!
Wait. You saw Triumph AND Night Ranger IN THE SAME SHOW?! Lucky dog! I never saw Night Ranger live, but back in the early '80's I saw Triumph and their live show was the BEST I've ever seen.
Why cant band be like this now? Talent at all positions no autotune and full of energy. I saw them about a year or two ago and still hard at it maybe not here but shoot they are old enough to be grand partents just like me.
I saw Jack blades with this band and also with the damn Yankees great performer a lot of energy I enjoyed both shows I was very thankful to be able to see both of them be safe be peaceful

I am from the San Francisco Bay Area and I saw this band when they first started. You can Still Rock in AMERICA if you love this band as much as I do.
@Antioch I definitely am a huge Y&T fan from their origin as Yesterday and Today . And saw multiple performances. Really there are so many great bands out of the San Francisco bay area . do you want to choose . I mean Huey lewis and the news were huge. I saw them when they first started. But I prefer harder rock.
The 80's the best flipping decade of Rock era period.
I appreciate good music like this, back in my time"music like this was played in bars and pool halls and wherever there were people having a good time.
Nobody can surpass Randy , for sure , but Gillis held his own .
yeah ....randy is a hard act to top or even match
This is a rockin' jam! The guitar solo gets me every time!!!!
First band i seen in concert. and i was hooked
Geez....they NAIL this
2023 and this song never gets old 🤘🏿🤘🏿
I love this band. I got married in 1985. Still going. Still great in my opinion. Lots of talent for sure!
懐かし〜い!
ブラッド · ギリスとジェフ · ワトソンのツインギターが大好き!
この曲いつ聴いてもカッコイイ😊
what he said.....😄😄😄😄
i graduated from high school in 1982. this is quintessential 80s rock. i watched it all, saw it all and it was fabulous. you could do anything in the early 1980s; no one stopped you. there will never be a time like that.
I got to love all of you how awesome i will never forget
I saw them on this tour in November '85. Great band, and always great live! Jack Blades doesn't age--he's still running around like that on stage now.
That song still ROCKS
What a performance, the sound is amazing.
I "witnessed" Night Ranger at a small, now long-gone "Brandywine Club" nightclub in Concordville, Pa., just south of my college in West Chester, Pa., in May of 1984 for their "Midnight Madness" tour. . . The twin guitar attack of Brad Gillis and Jeff Watson blew the lid off the damn joint ! ... Memories !!
DUDE! HE was the drummer for Night Ranger! I'm convinced!!!
That guitar solo(s) have been my favorite for decades. It will always be in my mind. 👍
What a cool time to be alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love my Generation... We fuckin Rocked!!.... ;)
Must have been one hell of a concert with them and Triumph
Cool. Both Triumph and Night Ranger has killer drummers who can also sing lead - Gil Moore in Triumph and Kelly Keagy in Night Ranger.
Jackkk!!! That Rocked!!🤘🎸🔥
Why cant band be like this now? Talent at all positions no autotune and full of energy. I saw them about a year or two ago and still hard at it maybe not here but shoot they are old enough to be grand partents just like me.
Thank God I grew up in this era of music!! OMG!! thank you GOD!!!!!
Now that's how you put on a concert! What Showmanship!
Never again will rock be like this. Im so happy i was a teenager during this era. So memorable!
Didn't know how good we had it...but who would of known today's kids would be stuck with Kanye and Post Malone
Unreal guitar solos, wow!
I saw Jack blades with this band and also with the damn Yankees great performer a lot of energy I enjoyed both shows I was very thankful to be able to see both of them be safe be peaceful
KICK ASS! Whole band NAILED IT!
How many people remember how Brad Gillis filled in for Ozzy after Randy Rhoads died? BTW, Jeff Watson was a pretty cool dude. Met him at a guitar clinic once, signed a poster for me.
Red Rubber Ball
Love this song!
I saw them for my first concert at the Petaluma fair for the opening of the seven wishes tour, I was 15 and it was EPIC!!!!!!
I seen them back in Florida in 1985 sunrise theater in ft.lauderdale they jammed out then and seen them few months ago in Georgia still Rocking.
Sunrise theater, cool. I bought my first amp from Jeff when he worked at Sunrise Music in Citrus Heights, CA. 👍
