Yup, it's settled, Buckethead is a misunderstood genius and an amazing guitar player. I stayed away from his music for too long and I have been found wanting. God on Guitar, simple and plain.
Saw this dude live in st pete fl and he was giving out dollar store toys. Because it was him, it was AWESOME. He seemed so friendly without saying a word. Not to mention, he is a musical monster. Just great.
Alok kimbo from 3:03 to 3:19 i used "transcribe!" to slow down this and it sound a lot like a very technical chicken picking . i think he hits quickly the lowest note with the pick while doing the others notes with his others fingers
Oh god 13 years later, this song is the reason I still listen to guitar oriented music like Polyphia, Jason Richardson, sithu aye, etc. little me thought this shit was the best thing ever.
just all day every day he's been playing for like 30yrs+ and bootsie Collins is his best friend so he's got that funk thing going on, maybe Best contemporary player ever.
Of course he's a bit of a savant. This guy literally spends 24/7 writing music (seeing as he released 118 albums in 2015). If there's anyone who has an unwavering passion to (their) music, it's him.
If i had to put the most perfect band together it would be John Bonham- Drums Ronnie James Dio- Vocals Buckethead- Lead gutar Dave Mustaine- Rhythm Guitar Geddy Lee- Bass
Dude, you really a rocker??? Ya, Geddy Lee is very cool BUT COME ON MAN... only 1 Bass Player on Earth for greatest ever band -- Lemmy Kilmister!!!!! Bonham dubbed over on a lot of his albums to get his sound... I'm going with Keith Moon on drums, Lemmy on Bass and vocals and Buckethead.... cuz 3 man bands are the bomb (but if we had to have a rhythm it would Brad Whitford from Aerosmith. (Geddy could play keyboards if he wants and Ronnie James Dio could be our super cool roadie and do the craziest sound checks ever) I am the light, powerful and joyful, right now and for eternity, gratefulness for what we receive everyday. Peace
I'd put Paul Mazurkiewicz on drums but, it would be too heavy compared to others. Vocals could be done by Corey Taylor, all the Slipknot hate aside he has an incredible voice.
While you listened this song, BH released another 14 albums.

@1:48 universe bends on itself.
Amazing!
Saw this dude live in st pete fl and he was giving out dollar store toys. Because it was him, it was AWESOME. He seemed so friendly without saying a word. Not to mention, he is a musical monster. Just great.
Just amazing how this sounds through my headphones. It seems they are just made to produce this song for me.
Btw, whoever made the "Annoyingly not on Spotify" playlist, everything but this is on Spotify
A minute thirty-five seconds for a solo? FUCK YEAH!
***** the solo from soothsayer by buckethead is 7 mins long.
@@MegaROGERWATERS pike 65’s solo is 13 minutes long…
overrated? to your ears maybe.. but to mine he is simply amazing and one of my favourite artists
Well, buckethead is the best thing to have happened to this planet, that solo just blew my mind.
Call me weird but there is a segment in here during his solo that I swear sounds like chickens clucking.
Right? Yo, the technique he uses to get that sound is called chicken picking.
Faecy Waecy cool, must be a pain to perfect like he has.
Faecy Waecy that's not how chicken picking sounds like.. check ur facts.
Alok kimbo from 3:03 to 3:19 i used "transcribe!" to slow down this and it sound a lot like a very technical chicken picking . i think he hits quickly the lowest note with the pick while doing the others notes with his others fingers
Pretty sure MrAntofire is right here.
There are no words to describe how good at guitar he is..
Why the fuck is this not on spotify
I ask the same thing only buckethead land ughhh
You could just use a UA-cam to Mp3 site.
This song is too good to be in Spotify.
SkullBoy519 maybe you find it with the name "Jump Man"
Spotify can't keep up with the amount of albums he releases.
Oh god 13 years later, this song is the reason I still listen to guitar oriented music like Polyphia, Jason Richardson, sithu aye, etc. little me thought this shit was the best thing ever.
God damn he must of sold his soul to the devil for those skills
just all day every day he's been playing for like 30yrs+ and bootsie Collins is his best friend so he's got that funk thing going on, maybe Best contemporary player ever.
people dont sell thier souls for skills but for fame. practice \m/
true story xD
Of course he's a bit of a savant. This guy literally spends 24/7 writing music (seeing as he released 118 albums in 2015). If there's anyone who has an unwavering passion to (their) music, it's him.
There is a funny part
I let my hair grow up to listen this song
I think he means his hair, now grown up, listens to buckethead.
Rad /,,/
+britch bopa lol
I let my hair grow up to listen to this song
If i had to put the most perfect band together it would be
John Bonham- Drums
Ronnie James Dio- Vocals
Buckethead- Lead gutar
Dave Mustaine- Rhythm Guitar
Geddy Lee- Bass
Peace
+ringo stark those are just my favorites on each instrument, I didnt facto in their chemistry together
+ringo stark Lemmy on vocals and making the might dio take a back seat? you're crazy!
I'd put Paul Mazurkiewicz on drums but, it would be too heavy compared to others. Vocals could be done by Corey Taylor, all the Slipknot hate aside he has an incredible voice.
Joey Zmigrodski Ronnie is no longer with us he living the better life !
Happy birthday from France !!
One of the top 10 guitarists of all time
One of the hardest songs on Guitar Hero!
For real
this may very well be the hardest piece ever written for guitar.
sounds good to my ears more to come buckethead rocks !
