Off the charts as some of best music ever... Buckethead's ability with the guitar is something spectacular. Anyone is capable of doing the same given the right factors but the fact that he has opened these doors and ventured so far into that world is a beacon to the rest of us. Its an example of what can be accomplished... not only on the guitar but in anything life. It shows us what kind of things can be achieved if given enough time and focus. His guitar playing should not only be a motivating beautiful example of the areas which humans can tread, but also an example of how the power of the mind soul and body can be utilized to reach astonishing levels of greatness in anything us humans are capable of. Great song and the picture in the video is awesome, lonely, isolating, yet still busy and chaotic, majestic. It seems lonely looking out into the vastness of space, but there is so much life out there, yet you can't see it and it is completely untouchable, so you aren't really alone but still you are. Lifeforms on other planets probably look out into the sky and see our star all the time, they don't know we are here looking back, yet we are. I had to set it as my new desktop background, took awhile to find the image in a higher resolution but I finally found one

Thank your Son
The guitar does the singing. That's what's so cool and beautiful.
My brother was the same way then one day I saw his discography in his music collection lol
For several months now, I listen to at least 3-4 albums a day, of Buckethead. It's impressive. Thanks to everyone who posted his exceptional music.
Soothsayer is 🔥
We are lucky to live during this small fraction of time along with Buckethead. I consider it to be a miracle and do not take one single note for granted. ❤️
No one on planet earth can come close. This song hits right in the feels
Off the charts as some of best music ever... Buckethead is not of this world...he is laying down some eternal licks ...and one of them is this song .... generations from now people will listen to his music ...same as we now listen to the classical musicians of 200 - 300 years preceding our current time warp
+Toadly4Sure couldnt agree more---you must hear it the same way i do and thats cool.......
Go to ranker.com best instrumental songs and check this song!!! People need to know about this sublime genius!
when you need inspiration of any kind...... pick an album....ANY album..a true genius
this one speaks the truth
Back to say this is right now my #1 Pike and top 5 song. This is just so dam beautiful. It makes me think of my father. I want to tell him all about. He's the one who planted the seed long ago with blues guitar and it brought me here.
Yup me too!!! Just had me thinking about my Father. Lol
Exactly how I feel, they be listening with us brother ❤
This is one of my favourite songs ever.
Very beautifull...
Wich each of his ballads Buckethead is able to take us with him to other "parallel universes" hiden in our heads, provided that we are willing to open the door...
Yes
Some times in life no matter how down you find yourself in the right place at the exact moment you needed to be there and then your first experience with buckethead happens at the same time.. Food for the soul just another reason to keep going.. Thank you so much Buckethead
He is the best guitarist. There is no one else comes close to him....
Likely. It's not his goal though
He is a composer and musician rather than a guitarist, but yes
@@holliswilliams8426 performer too..
@@hotrd91614 ok yes sorry, virtuoso as well as a composer
im better
From 11:50...This part is beyond any category. Masterpiece. Pure emotion, as if the heart is pouring out to everyone who listens to this.
I dont have the words to describe how beautiful this is
This on another level here. Just stunning!!! 🎸
Now don't you dare tell me that slash is better...
there are those that can play the guitar, but in the end there can only be one. Slash is a gimmick.
Slash is a clown that is just jealous of bucketheads talent
Slash is great but no Buckethead
Emilien BAUDET not even in the same stratosphere.......just a different league altogether
Bucketheads little finger is slash
I love songs like these. 15 minutes of endorphin rush. This song can be enjoyed alone, with friends, at a party or on a trip to mars. Buckethead really is a shred genius.
For sure, that's what I said about a DMT trip. This is the best song ever and perfect length lol
I used to think that Buckethead being the very BEST guitarist to ever roam this earth was just an opinion of mine. But now, after listening to... to... THIS, I'm SURE that it's a FACT
I think this song and a few others prove it.
Ultimately, the best of the best He could and would smoke any of the top 100 guitarists of all time. Technique, ability, song writing...#1 in every respect. Who needs to listen to anyone else? Thank you BH
@Jon He is at a level above everyone else, he's like Einstein and other physicists. That's no disrespect to the others and their great achievements, but it's just fact that this guy is a level above.
Buckethead has caused a serous problem for me...once I start listening, I can't stop.
Same here...An instant addict.
Me too Erik, unreal isn't it......
I see no problem..
Just continues to top his untoppable self simply amazing.
The best part about discovering Buckethead, aside from the quality of his music is the sheer quantity when you realize just how much he's made.
Lost mom two weeks ago. Buckethead brings me peace. Never to be equaled
@@rickchaffin5210 Sorry for your loss man hang in there! Hope you are doing well.
No doubt. Mind blowing x 100. He’s an artist w/ so much influence.
This is like Comfortably Numb but taken to another level...
A few levels up
Deffinitly a few levels up trust me im a floyd fan and they rock but this is just so much more soulful floyds early shit is pretty amazing and acoustic
Hahaha been thinking this for a long time with this one. Huge PF fan here and i have to agree with ya lol
@@karenroach3179 Animals is by far thier best record IMO
I still can't fathom how this song has so little views, this is better then 90% of the legendary classics
its definitely among my favorite!
i think most of those views are me lol
Almost a million, for a song on a pike, I'd say is incredibly impressive. I thought there'd be way less.
This is excellent but I can't agree that it's better than 90% of the legendary classics.
Yeah man, dear bucket head you are not alone there are a million of us out here playing the same song. It's beautiful😉
I am a74. Yr old beautiful blk woman. Not looking my age.that music is amazing !!. Keep it up as long as u can
There is so much of it he has like over 20 lifetimes of music & counting for u 🙏
I am about to sell my home and I am seriously considering buying his entire collection. Its a bargain at a little over two hundred dollars. I just can't stop listening to him!
Did you end up buying it?
@@JimmyBlimps No but I wished I had! I still may do so. It was about $200 or more for the CD's. I could listen to him and no one else and that scares me!
@@plasma3211 It's never too late to give back to the artists you love, until it is (:
Ask it as a present from your close ones ;) feels good giving back to him (even though its not nearly enough haha)
Yes, i had 3 Pailgrimages this tour and he was awesome at all 5 shows! I finally got a toy at show 4 and 5 and got to touch his killswitch at 2 of the shows! My 3rd show was at Englewood, CO and do to not eating nor drinking much water and the altitude, I fainted! So by the time that got sorted out many people passed by and I lost my front row position. :( But I loved every minute of it! I hope he tours again next year.
Good Lord I keep finding stuff that I've never heard from him. So incredible.
he has over 300 albums
Oh wow, how the hell did I sleep on this masterpiece?!? The man puts out so much incredible music that it becomes hard to keep track!
Stay focused an motivated everyone! Let's see what the power of our minds can bring to this earth!
Yes is great, and not trying to sell much, but getting more people to know his music, he is en original and trascendent at the same place.
Brian proves the limitless power of human potential. What we can be, what we can become. Individually, collectively. I can't help but smile with joy. Thanks big guy.
this man literally speaks with his guitar no other music comes close to this for me
Another wonderful journey supplied by Buckethead. Thanks Brian, you are a gift to humanity.
Couple years of this on repeat still hasn't quenched my thirst!!!
It's like the sound of an infinite dream
This is the elevator music inside an alien warship....love it.
aliens would run for the hills, "what do these people see in this? STFU and listen, you will find out what gentle people we are, now, can we talk?
wtf hahahahaha
@Alset Alokin - I bet they wish they could!!! I'm serious, I don't think there is a player out there with the talent of this man, and I love Satch and Co - but BH, he is insane.....
this is deep bro
Well in that case I need to find this elevator and bring a 18 pack of beer cuz I'm going to be in that bitch all night long \m/ 🎸 🍻
I just founded Buckethead a couple of months ago. I wished I founded him much earlier. I am so amazed by his playing and music. I would have most definitely attended one or two of his concert shows if I would have caught him early enough. I now put my earphones in beneath my ear muffs at work and while unloading product relaxing to Buckethead The time flows by so smoothly and my day is so much better. This is kind of funny. I just bought an older bass boat and I have been struggling trying to name it. Now I believe I'm gonna have the name Sooth Sayer painted on the back. The SS Sooth Sayer...Play on Bucketehead. Play On..
I must admit it: I don't listen to Buckethead that much, but this... This is life
The Bucket gives me chicken skin every time at the opening riff.
First time I heard this song, I was having a conversation with a friend. I stopped talking mid-sentence like, "WOOOOOAAAAAAH!!! HOLY SHIT!!!", as soon as those opening electric guitar notes kicked in.
Pucktechnology - and at 16 mins in it just blows me away! Unreal.......
LOL
I've been eating more chicken lately...
This guy is really famous in Heaven ...
Thank you for being so good at what you do. It is a honor to hear your music. Thank you

GRANDE BUCKETHEAD!!!
Buckethead is an alien. So much feel to his music. Forever a fan.
Oh you didn’t know... lol.., he’s from the same planet as the guys from tool :)
A diety
Damn! 5 out of 5 light years! I'm stuck on this Pike and can't find the exit!
Best guitarist of all times
Unfuckinbelievable as always.......when I finally get chance to see him play live, I really hope he plays this
Beast mode again, don't know what's wrong with him to be obsessively making album after album but for certain his wrong do good to us. Thanks Buckethead please don't die due to exertion. I need your beautiful music. We want you alive giant robot.
As far as I'm concerned, the reason of making album after album is because BH was on some serious disease and if it was the case, he wanted to leave this planet leaving as much music as possible. Fortunately he recovered
@@josuemarpe I heard the interview he made, fancy stuff...I hope he's recovered he's such an iconic mysterious gift.
@Alset Alokin Me too bro, I got me a guitar the first week i discovered Buckethead.
@@josuemarpe He won't be recovering from his irregular heart beat :(
He did a podcast and spoke about it months ago, it sucks

Thanks bucket head for a great riff.
I always get emotional and also get a full of energy whenever I listen to your compositions. Thanks thanks thanks.
Fuck yeah saw this live. Fuck yeah he's touring.
This guy is one of my greatest finds for the last 3-4 years...the guitar is sweet, yet melodic and complex...I would say up there with Vai and Satriani...and even sweeter!
My whole life passed in front my eyes through this atmospheric piece of art.
It's akin to taking a psychedelic trip the emotions this song conveys
Checklist for heaven:
1) Camp deep in woods
2) Sit on log next to campfire
3) Babbling brook nearby
4) BH via earphones playing Pike #234!
joint in hand
You missed an important part. Some sort of drug (alcohol, ketamine, mdma, lsd, weed, take your pick!).
Buckethead is the only drug required
I am so lucky to be doing that right now.❤❤❤❤❤wonderful times
there exists -has existed many guitarists , many ideas, but then there is BucketHead, he's in an entire separate building. 🎸
Zeppelin ♫ could you give me a link to it?

I don't think you could play this too loud.
11:24 has to be one of the most emotive and mind blowing yet simple run downs ive ever heard in my life
Chuck Norris listens to Buckethead, what's more, he learned nunchucks from him
I've never cried on a guitar solo it's so emotional god bless you Buckethead
1 of the most emotional songs ever. So much passion,so much beauty...and not a word. Speaks volumes though ✌
Love this & love me some Head 💚
Haha
Unreal stuff, didn't expect anything less from Buckethead.
My favorite of all the pikes. The first 10 times this really hit me with a deep feeling of my life and feeling life. Amazing.
Funny isn't it - no matter what we've got going on in our life, Buckethead makes everything seem very clear..........
