It was in the original Budokai Tenkaichi and here's how I (And you can too) beat it. Step 1: Pick Super 17 Step 2: Create distance Step 3: Spam Hell's Storm Step 4: Repeat until all who opposes you are dead
Bro in the mod I don’t know why they made that move cost only 2 bars it’s broken. It was expensive when it was 4 but the inferior beam attack costs 3 bars.
It's been so long since I played that mode, but you get used to the cpu's after a while. Beat it with most of my fave characters and all the SSJ4's. It is rough sometimes I will give you that, lol
The AI is programmed uniquely to simulate being pressured or to be pressuring you. If you hurt the CPU a bunch without letting them breathe, they will start vanishing and countering less, and be less aggressive. But if you let them start hurting you, you have to play defensive and use quick combos that can’t be vanished that get them off of you and make them lose their momentum so their super strong AI gets weaker. This is actually commonly why Red Potara are so strong, since a lot of their effects let them vanish for free which turns off their “being pressured” state and they can keep being aggressive. That’s why you need to be super passive and stale against them so that they don’t steamroll you. I’ve tested this against legendary super saiyan Broly on the new Z difficulty. The rate of which they vanish is still reliably low so long as you score a combo early on. Current health plays a factor, AI with less health are more sporadic in their “momentum” mechanic, and they’ll play better, or even worse depending on the situation. If you have an AI on the ropes do NOT let them get a comeback.

With SeeReax it was the opposite where they went nuts pretty early then calmed down a little before going crazy again. As opposed with yours which was fairly easy until 30 then each entrant went more ballistic each time after that. If that helps...

I feel like the ai fights on your level which explains why they got to 40 while Rhyme had constant hard ai. Also sometimes the ai tends to be better and I don't know why but when I want to have a serious fight the ai barely fights back then when I just want to chill the ai absolutely decimates me and I have to start actually trying and it's still hard.

Also, when are the 3 idiots busting down sim dragon? I wanna see who can make it the furthest, that mode is underrated for how much charm it has.
The 8 minutes time was probably someone using a heavily buffed character with damage and speed upgrades to one shot the weaker levels or clear them in a few seconds
During Tenkaichi 3 i always went with Frieza in this mode, because he was the only one with five forms, and i could transform every ten victories, but with the mod Tenkaichi 4 even Vegeta and Goku have more than four forms, so they are now reliable for this mode

I remember this mode in the original BT3. I think it was either Babidi's Ship or the Survival mode, hosted by 17 and 18. And I did beat it in the end. How? With Radtiz! Bwahahahaha! I used Raditz and spammed his rush attack until everyone died. The older brother of Goku, was indeed the strongest Saiyan to ever exist.
Rhyme teching grabs is incredible to me. I remember that when I played Budokai Tenkaichi 2, I often managed to deflect the grabs by just single tapping in time the blocking button. Is it much harder in DBZ: BT III?
