Distance from NYC to Perth, Australia is 11,628 miles. Average walking speed is 2-3mph (from a random website). That comes out to about 161-242 days. We'll assume about 190 for roughly 2.5mph walking speed. So you could split your year between NYC and Perth to be completely safe.
But then you have to consider that if the ghost always knows where you are, it will figure out your pattern of moving between the two locations and just end up waiting for you at one of your houses. So you’d be safe for a year or two until it catches on, then you’re screwed. Instead, I’d spend the first one or two years of safety getting my truck driving license in both the US and Australia, and then instead of moving every 6 months, which is predictable, I’d randomly choose a length of time between 3 to 6 months to switch my location. I’d then randomly choose one of the airports in one of the countries to fly to, reducing the chance of the ghost waiting for me at the airport and getting me there. I wouldn’t have a house, but would drive trucks to make money and keep me moving so the ghost couldn’t catch up. The ghost’s best move in that case is to wait at an international airport in the US or Australia and hope to get me when I’m getting on or off a plane. Hopefully, the odds would be that that wouldn’t happen for at least a few decades, This is assuming that a) the ghost is able to wait somewhere, maybe it has to keep walking, b) the ghost knows where you are, not just what direction you’re in and c) it can do some level of critical thinking and pattern recognition. If any of these assumptions aren’t true, then just switching homes every 6 months should be just fine.
@@seven47s that assumes the ghost is trying to be smart. I've never seen the movie, but it sounds like the ghost is simply relentless. It just chases you, that's what it does. No strategy, just chase.
Idk if this would be dumb, but I think it’d be cool content to see if you had someone randomly apply heat to your game without you knowing, and then you play through the run having to try and find out the heat by the end of the run and win, idk i just think that’d be fun to see lol
@@Haelian ah crap now it feels like I missed the tone and ruined a joke. FWIW I don't think I ever rented the movie, but I do remember renting the Little Nemo game for NES multiple times and never beating it.
Sorry for the late comment (had to watch half and save the rest for later), but It Follows was filmed in my neighborhood!! Such a good movie, and I actually attended a screening they held 3 years ago in the Redford Theatre in Detroit, where the theatre scene in the movie takes place! There's was also a Q&A with some of the actors afterwards, such a cool experience and incredible concept for a horror movie
As a kid, our town library had a GIANT hardcover collection of the Little Nemo in Slumberland newspaper comic strips, and it absolutely blew my mind. Not sure if the movie replicates that art style, but it would be incredible if it did. And there was even an NES game version back then!
Zeus, Dionysus, and Artemis work well on their own and get boosted by synergies on Zeus aspect special. Ares and Demeter require either a second boon from themselves or a duo boon (Doom stack plus merciful end for Ares, 10 chill damages target and removes effect). Aphrodite and Athena feel like a waste on paper, while Poseidon is counterintuitive.
I think Whisper of the Heart and Kiki's Delivery Service are good for a specific type of personality - they're two of my faves! I think Whisper of the Heart is very earnest and charming, and Kiki's Delivery Service has some fun themes related to burnout.
Hi Haelian, I don’t know if you’ll see this comment, but a suggestion for a more lighthearted movie by Miyazaki would be “Lupin the Third Castle of Cagliostro.” It’s actually his first animated film, and I think it’s good goofy fun, while still telling a decent story. It is based on an anime series of the same name, but not much prior context is needed to enjoy the movie, as it’s standalone, and doesn’t really have any callbacks to the show. The sub is far superior, but I’m sure the dub isn’t too bad either.
Wow, I didn’t think you’d actually reply! This made my day! The movie does a decent job at introducing all the characters, but if you want some prior context for the characters, I’d suggest watching the 1st episode of Lupin the 3rd Part 2, since it does a good job of introducing them. I’ll leave a link to the dubbed episode on the official UA-cam channel so you can check it out if you’re interested. ua-cam.com/video/OwJbP_mpnxw/v-deo.htmlsi=2EE1nUULSPylIVSx
Oh also, just splitting up this comment into 2 so it doesn’t take up too much space, Miyazaki and his team were given 5 months to make this movie, so it isn’t as much of a technical marvel as the other Ghibli movies, but I still think it holds up pretty well today.

When I was messing with OlympusExtra I happened to get Hestia's special on Zeus shield and the magnetic effect was pretty fun on it. It's also funny that the magnetic effect pulls you into the shield when it comes back. I had 1 room in Asphodel where I was getting the room reward and the shield came back while I couldn't move and pushed me into the lava. Nearly died lol
Mysterra II has uploaded two modded 63 heat wins with Arty and Aphro special on Zeus Shield. It definitely looks notably worse in the dad fight (like a minute and a half to two minutes slower than the Angel's 63 Zeus² Dad fight) but it's still an interesting demonstration
zeus shield is the best definition of "it provides exactly what 64 heat needed, not even a bit more" if, for example, there is an option to increase hard labour by an extra 2 level (so it goes from 100% to 140%), but player regain infernal souls (+2 cast) at 64 heat, i bet most of the max heat community will just accept that and switch to beowulf
not how that works, to get the casts back you need to disable 2 levels of routine inspection, and that's 4 heat plus it wouldn't be as impactful as real 64 heat given that not everything was maxed out, which is kind of the point
I like Zeus' shield with Dionysus for the special and either Ares, Aphrodite, or Demeter for the attack. With privileged status and Artemis' critical damage, I deal high damage. The Daedalus upgrade for either 500% bull rush or 400% to armor just adds more damage as well.
If you go by the strict pronunciation of romanized Japanese, it’s definitively “Jib” li = Ji-bu-ri = ジブリ. The “Gi” sound, as in “Ginza”, is a different character, ギ = ぎ. That said, just like “gif” vs “jif”, I don’t think it matters for the point of the barbershop debates, which are just supposed to be fun and debatable by nature.
I don’t think anyone mentioned it but whisper of the heart has a bit of a difference between the dub and the sub. Not sure which one you watched, but in the sub, the song gets changed a lot and it’s meaning gets changed as well where the dub keeps the song the same from what I remember
I was not expecting a story about a movie focused on a ghost std (spectrally transmitted disease) on a video about artemis on zeus shield. Wildly entertaining stuff
Came here for tips because I just started playing Hades. But to my surprise I’m about to leave a comment about ‘It Follows’! The premise of a shape shifting monster only you can see that is always getting closer to you to kill you is very cool. Also passing this curse along to others is very cool. But with how the rules are presented in the movie it’s actually very easy to deal with. Step 1: Fly to another country across the world. Step 2: Sleep with a career prostitute in a tourist heavy part of that country. As we saw in the movie when the kids tried their Scooby Doo pool trap, the monster IS vulnerable to damage and physical barriers and can be rendered incapacitated. By boarding a plane this is going to very very likely put the monster in a near inescapable situation where it’s going to be dealing with the crushing depths of the ocean while it tries to B line towards you as it tries to reach you to country you just flew to. If that wasn’t enough, you just passed the curse to a career prostitute. As early as the same day, she is going to pass the curse to someone else. LIKELY someone else from another country (hence targeting a heavy tourist area). This tourist is then going to fly back to their country causing the monster to change course while contending with the ocean depths. It will take years, if at all, for the monster to reach this tourist. And that’s assuming they haven’t slept with anyone else and so on and so on. And even if the monster does reach this chain of tourists the monster is very unlikely going to go after the prostitute because you guessed it, she just slept with another tourist that same day and passed on the curse again. So yeah very cool horror movie premise but it’s very easily solved with a plane ticket overseas and some prostitutes.
When it comes to Ghibli movies, the favorite for my spouse and I is The Cat Returns. Not sure how the dub is, but it's a more light hearted one and we always enjoy rewatching it.
Answer to your ghost problem is just to have a bunch of sex and abandon the very concept of monogamy because that's just going to hurt you in the long run
Aladdin 2 was "the return of Jafar" which I think was pretty goated. The movie youre talking about, about the 40 burglars was pretty bad in quality tho but I think it was closer to tv quality
As far as the ghost walking after you constantly, I would probably get a RV and drive across the country. Probably living back and forth from Maine to southern California, getting a simple job to afford gas and food.
Some of the movies i like are kinda weird Dead Leaves, Mind Game, Paprika come to mind. The only more chill ones I can think of is Summer Wars which was ok and The girl who leapt through time which I did not see all of but was told it was good. I also haven't seen Redline but i really want to.
If you want western animated movies The Secret of Kells is pretty good "and a few others done by the same people but I haven't seen them" and Rango if you haven't seen it. Extremely underrated if you ask me.
Had a weird time running Zeus Shield with Dionysus then lucked out getting Low Tolerance and Curse of Nausea. Felt like it was almost good, but far from terrible.
Frozen was fine in itself, but it's painfully obvious where they did their last minute story switch in order to not have Elsa be the villain. They do an ok enough bit of damage control to staunch the bleed, but it still suffers for it, especially if you're aware of the fact that they did this change. Their (executive) decision to not be brave with the character arc holds it back from being great.

Only Yesterday is fairly light-hearted, Kaguya is a Japanese folk tale and has a classic fairy tail feel so it isn't happy but it also isn't violent. Kaguya is also genuinely the most beautiful animated movie I've seen. From up on Poppy Hill is also enjoyable. I can also recommend Your Name, it isn't Ghibli but it is very good.
All those 90s Disney sequels were made by their TV animation studio, so they had smaller budgets, which is why the animation looks so crappy compared to the theatrical movies. I think The Return of Jafar was meant to be the pilot for the Aladdin TV series, and it's like three episodes of the show stuck together.
I don't get why people try to stuff everything into "best" or "bad" boxes with this game, like it's so well made you can beat the game with whatever aspect you want without any boons. Hades is designed around the freedom of choice, being so rigid about the choices and their worth is not only boring AF but kinda ignorant. That said, there's usually a best for X or Y, like how Achilles is the one for cast builds, or Chiron being best for beginners, there's no singular best for everything.

In fairness to your wife, Nausicaa the manga is much better than Nausicaa the animated movie. I read the comic first and by comparison the anime was such a let down.
