With me being a gear head, I see this as you buy the gsxr for half the price. Put your exhaust and everything you want on it then throw a set of cams and head work and boom you've got everyone beat for not even as much as a beamer. And as far as dyno numbers the bmw has carbon fiber wheels which definetly makes a difference. Put those wheels on a gsxr you'll see numbers go up. I enjoy your vids man!

You’re wrong. They already did track comparisons with both bikes against each other. The BMW is the best cornering and handling bike there is out there right now. GAXR can’t go into corners as deep and as fast bc the brakes are terrible and the front end isn’t stable. Where the BMW can.
Mate I think this is the best video you made, talking a lot of sense, street riding all about the TORQUE!!, but gotta ask if the Beemer doesn't blow away the gixxer, why buy it?
Serious question btw bcoz am looking to switch out. Gixxers makes $$ sense, RSV4 RF love it but looks crap, New S1000RR great but buzzy inline 4 boring,,,,,so V4S first Ducati i would buy but your experience is like common sense voice saying nooo lolso what to get !
Thanks man. Every day riding and comfort vs track riding you and I know are two different things. This is why I sold my V4, none the less it was the biggest piece of shit I ever owned. Torque is fun, hp is great but are you riding around at 14K rpm all the time on the street? 95% NOT! So you have to take in to account some performance and comfort, how much are you willing to sacrifice to look cool/good/ or have the fastest bike. Maybe not right away, but that shit wears out fast. All bikes have a different personality, the GSXR hands down is still more fun, bmw up top is faster, gsxr is quicker. Gsxr is more comfy, bmw is flashier and more tech stuff. GSXR is half the cost 13-14- vs 26k. Its like driving a mustang, its fun and fast, not the fastest, but fast, the bmw is the AMG, some things are better but not all... Like you said maybe boring.... Really it boils down to you not getting tired of riding the bike. Forget what the others are riding and looking like.
Ducatis are same reliability as Japanese bikes. Just be sure that you do proper maintenance in a good service. Change timing belts soon enough and do valves adjustment when the need to be done. I have Monster 1100 with 34000Km from brand new and no problem at all. I know few people with ducatis and none had problem. But everyone is doing maintenance in a service where they know how to do it.
The girlfriend picks up her new S1krr this week. After we both test rode them, I found the BMW to be a wonderful bike, smooth, powerful, relatively comfortable. I also found it to be utterly clinical. It will go very fast in a very controlled way. The BMW is a machine, but it very much is a _machine_. It felt unemotional to me, it didn't make me smile. It was a weapon, cold, distant, and highly capable. Spectacular bike, but not for me, great for her, and great for you. We'll see about Aprilia this week.
Nice bikes! Imo, I don't think any motorcycle is worth 20k+. They put all of the tech shit on the new bikes which bumps the price way up but that's usually the first thing that goes wrong. I bought a 17 Aprilia Tuono factory and the very first ride the sob failed and went into limp mode because of the tech shit on it. I'll take my raw af 19' YZ450fx supermoto over any superbikes on the street, the most fun bike I have ridden so far. Btw, If you only ride the gsxr on the street you will better served putting on some Pirelli Angel GT tires on it, good grip and they last a long time. I have nearly 5k miles on my Angel GT's that's only my cbr1000rr and still plenty of tread left and I'm hard on the throttle off the line, every other type of tire wears out crazy fast like your rear tire.
Hey brother, Thanks for watching! Yes, that tech stuff really drives up the price of the bike no question. It's great when it works, but when it doesn't it really messes up the ride and bike. I remember when you got your new Aprilla, you were very happy. Yes it took a dump on your first time out. Your newer Yami is dope, supermoto, the maintance just sucks, but thats with any REAL dirt bike, not the yami. Glad you got all or most of the junk figured out with your Aprilla though. The Pirelli Angel GT is a great street tire that last. Good recommendation. Yes, the stockers I were just not the biggest fan of, I will either get the Pirelli's or go back to Dunlop. Thanks man and ride safe. Peace
Hmmm all the comparison dyno video's I have seen the new BMW s1000rr with the shift cam had more torque from 1500 to 9000 RPM than all the other bikes from it's class including the ducati V4 1100cc and aprilia rsv4 1100 factory , and I know from experience that they blow the GSXR in torque so ?.... See 650IB's new dyno video at the end he shows horspower and torque graphs from all the bikes ...
ua-cam.com/video/Otk28u9C9uc/v-deo.html here you go , the highest line is the beemers graph , the line is not smouth because he put a full race exhaust and the bike is not tuned so air/fuel ratio is fucked
GSXR is not on this dyno, when I do dyno my BMW on the same dyno as my GSXR I will let you you know. Thanks for sharing man. Either way. Still love both these machines. As states before just because you make more on the dybo doesnt account for efficiency. Cheers!
Which one is better on tracks..?? People should watch WSBK, or visit Google, to see Kawasaki winning 4 years in a row on their Zx10R, even this year they could win and Kawasaki will be 5 times WSBK Champion in a Row....
@@TheSpeedBug yea, even in today's race BMW gave tough competition to Kawa, Yamaha and Suzuki are all time average, sometimes winning or coming second and third, but Kawasaki is consistently improving and that's why they left MotoGP, to make real world track and street focused superbike (though highly restricted) 👍👍
I personally believe Kawasakis success comes from the fact they put all their eggs in WSBK, as they are no longer in moto GP. BMW is still using a stock motor and getting those podiums.
Avneesh Singh Tomar, don't forget that the other big guys (Honda, Yama, Suzy, Duke) all race in motoGP. MotoGP is prototype racing, which is the pinnacle of engineering and is hugely more expensive compared to WSBK. Especially when you consider that they don't get a justifiable return on their investment (as they can't sell the prototype machines that they race). So it's a double financial whammy. Factories are doing it mainly for pride & prestige. By choosing not to participate in motoGP, Kawi saves a mountain of money, time, engineering resources, which it then diverts to their WSBK effort. That would go a long way to explaining their dominance in WSBK lately.
@@TheSpeedBug That isn't true the 2020 S1000RR is making more torque maybe your 2015 made less but the new 2020 is making more... You are also comparing a bike that is modded vs a stock bike that is still restricted by the ECU...
@@TheSpeedBug I will be waiting kind of hard to claim one has more tq than the other when the 2020 S1000RR has only been out for 3 weeks... No one knows how it is going to respond to tuning and mods yet.
People are really dumb , I mean really dumb. Regarding the seat in the bmw , it is hard for a very simple reason , it gives u much better feedback on what the tires , suspension and chasis are doing just like wsbk and motogp bikes , their seats are rock solid, that are not meant for comfort. Get it ?.... The Suzuki is far from being the better bike for the money , I have an R1 and I beat Suzuki’s at the track every day. One more thing about the bmw , it has better warranty , gas mileage , power and cheaper to insure than the Suzuki.
Brilliant I know a lot of these cats ain't going to like the truth but like they say the truth hurt and I don't even own the GSXR 1000 I'm still working with the 2011 GSXR 600 but I own a ZX14 07 in case other guys want to get stupid and try to rag me I've seen real power but there's nothing like a GSXR sorry but it's the truth
BMW is a beautiful machine. When i go out to my garage i want to like what I see before I am happy riding it. The GXSR is a 6, maybe 7, and the BMW is a 10. I would pay the extra $. Just my opinion. BTW. Enough about the Ducati's. And no I dont own one and never have. They have there place. Just like all bikes do. Let'move on.
You are right, I will say this, most people think Ducati's are God. This is why. Look at the hype, then talk to real owners. Different story. The 10 for looks you get for your bmw will soon wear off, trust me. You will never ride that BMW as long as you will that GSXR. So you ask yourself, that more important, the looks or the ride that you never want to get off. They all have a time and place. Just how much BS you are willing to put up with at the moment.
Look up the white and blue 2018 GSXR 1000 color scheme definitely is not a 6 or 7 honestly the head light could be better but thats really all thats wrong
@@asicaery7881 Yes. That is a much better looking bike. That color scheme would definitely be my choice. But omg that muffler would go before it went out in public.
Sorry but you should be a HUGE Suzuki fan boy to say Suzuki is on top of the super bikes, WHAT A JOKE man. Have you seen the professionals form all over the world, racers and journalists comparing new motorcycles? Suzuki is on the last place, how can you compare the gsx with the s1000rr?lol.In what cave do you live my man?? Suzuki, what a piece of shit bike, they still stuck with power and technology from the 90's.Awsome s1000by the way!
So what makes the Suzuki such a piece of shit? Because it’s a “Suzuki”? Each brand shines in their own way and no one brand is king over the other. The BMW and Ducati’s are amazing bikes but not ALWAYS the better bike for certain situations and riders. I will admit the electronics on the BMW is light years ahead of Suzuki.

For an extra 15g I don't think it's worth it. BUT the bmw is a better bike. I'd still pick the Gixxer :P
Haha thanks buddy! Thanks for watching...
Rt now the way the bikes are which 1 is faster in a race 60-180?
Thanks for watching. Hands down my GSXR, but that is not fair because my GSXR is modded.
Stock for stock, I would say the BMW.
See 650IB's new dyno video at the end he shows horspower and torque graphs from all the bikes ...
same day , same dyno
ua-cam.com/video/Otk28u9C9uc/v-deo.html here you go , the highest line is the beemers graph , the line is not smouth because he put a full race exhaust and the bike is not tuned so air/fuel ratio is fucked
so my mind is blow you say the tuned gsxr makes more torque down low . Well we shall see when you throw them both on a dyno .
would be an awsome video suzuki VVT vs BMW shift cam torque graph's overlayd
GSXR is not on this dyno, when I do dyno my BMW on the same dyno as my GSXR I will let you you know. Thanks for sharing man. Either way. Still love both these machines. As states before just because you make more on the dybo doesnt account for efficiency. Cheers!
Which one is better on tracks..??
People should watch WSBK, or visit Google, to see Kawasaki winning 4 years in a row on their Zx10R, even this year they could win and Kawasaki will be 5 times WSBK Champion in a Row....
Depends on which part of the track.... Down low, the Suzuki, up top the bmw. I would say the bmw can prob corner a bit better.
I think the GSXR is the best looking street bike honestly.
Fasho. Thanks for watching
Horsepower is what sells but torque is what you feel
Good Explanation is. 98% of people can't explain what Horsepower is.
So going off that aprilla rsv4 a d Ducati v4 are a brutal force.
675, No. Its not just the numbers, its a lot in the curve.
The BMW has to feel more planted/controllable? No
In certain aspects, yes, some no.
GSXR is the Glock of the superbike world
Great way to put it!
how much the gsx in us ?
Thanks for watching. New from 13-18K
GSX-R1000r or Yamaha R1?????
Gixxer
I thought the Beamer had more torque than gsxr, they said it would make about 113nm of torque from 5k to redline.
BTW nice video bud.
Thanks for watching man. No way..... GSXR make more torque, BMW makes more hp.
@@TheSpeedBug That isn't true the 2020 S1000RR is making more torque maybe your 2015 made less but the new 2020 is making more... You are also comparing a bike that is modded vs a stock bike that is still restricted by the ECU...
I said this many times. Stay tuned you will see...
@@TheSpeedBug damn i did be happy seeing the suzuki make more torque ngl, it's gonna be more value for money thing.
@@TheSpeedBug I will be waiting kind of hard to claim one has more tq than the other when the 2020 S1000RR has only been out for 3 weeks... No one knows how it is going to respond to tuning and mods yet.
😂😂😂 “I got bit by a Ducati. “
Damn skippy. Thanks for watching..
I lov both bike.. But suzuki is awesome
Thanks again for watching
People are really dumb , I mean really dumb.
Regarding the seat in the bmw , it is hard for a very simple reason , it gives u much better feedback on what the tires , suspension and chasis are doing just like wsbk and motogp bikes , their seats are rock solid, that are not meant for comfort. Get it ?....
The Suzuki is far from being the better bike for the money , I have an R1 and I beat Suzuki’s at the track every day.
One more thing about the bmw , it has better warranty , gas mileage , power and cheaper to insure than the Suzuki.
Thanks for watching.
Gsxr is a good value , but for insane performance $16000 bmw rocks ! Both are reasonably comfortable.
GSXR DESTROYS the BMW on comfort. And add another 10K for the BMW!
@@TheSpeedBug is the m package worth it?
Speed Bug is so easy to listen to for some reason.
Thanks man. Thanks for watching.
You gotta get a V2 and give us that real scoop lol
I’ll review someone else, I have no plans on ever buying another shitcati!
@@TheSpeedBug HAHA, well, since you put it that way!!! I feel like I should even stop looking at them 😢
Whom else wanted to turn it off in the beginning??? Back & forth - really?
Thanks for watching.
bro US is waaaay cheaper than germany, here gsxr is 23000 euro , s1000rr is 26000 euro

"For the street" no sport bike was, is or ever will be better than CBR 1000RR Fireblade. Period.
Thanks for watching. Hey man, if that's what you like, this is what you like.
Thanks for watching. yes this is true. It may not be the best at everything, but its the best all around.
@@TheSpeedBug yeah man I'm subscribed very good video bro
@@asicaery7881
Yes. That is a much better looking bike. That color scheme would definitely be my choice. But omg that muffler would go before it went out in public.
Yea but usually the first or second mod on any bike is an exhaust so im never worried about the stock mufflers lol
Bmw king
Thanks again for watching

Who cares about the crap gsxr
Everyone has their bike. Thanks for watching. Own many of both, you may think otherwise, especially if you buy them without any loans.
BMW engine can't take abuse or high mileage, Gsxr all day
Sorry but you should be a HUGE Suzuki fan boy to say Suzuki is on top of the super bikes, WHAT A JOKE man.
Thanks again for watching!
