when I discovered this album it was really like finding the treasure. Been after all the Jane's albums-band, solos and then I find out there is whole another body of trully brilliant work by Jane's engine - Avery and Dave. This LP is magical. Jane's Addiction are very very original, blessed by talent from completely different dimension of universe.
This may be the greatest song ever written. There is SO MUCH happening. The bass line after the song falls into what sounds like an ocean of sound is beyond compare. It's absolutely wonderful.
Absolutely want to surf… this and a little 1990 version of Point Break and the only thing anyone could do is buy a board and catch some waves… and maybe rob a bank… jkjkjk
this band and especially this song helped me when i was depressed. it reminds me of the early 90's when those times seemed like it would stay forever and now those memories are just fading ghosts.
This one song has five different awesome guitar riffs in the first 2 minutes at 0:00, 0:23, 0:45, 1:33, and 1:55, all of which could carry a song on their own. And yet this music is largely unknown.
This is probably the happiest song in the album. The protagonist puts behind his past (“dusty gods of echo cathedrals” and “duck and cover drills”), gets rid of the anger and fear, gets in a car and drives someplace with sandy beaches.

The middle section that starts at 1:50 is one of my all-time favorite pieces of music. So beautiful!
