Love ya Boonie! Go M's! This team doesn't look like that record breaking team you were on, but its a good one. I think 95 wins is very doable with this team. I maybe biased, but the M's had the best offseason in the division.
Yo, where the heck is Casey Sadler?? I know he was injury prone but he was nails when he WAS healthy. It'd be nice to see him back in this bullpen if he's healthy.
I thought the Mariners brought him back in the organization last year to a minor league deal or something.. He was a ton of fun when he went on the Locked On Mariners podcast. He and his wife were already involved in charity work in the area even though he wasn’t some mega millionaire. Pretty solid dude I’d love to see back!
In 01 my buddy and me went to a game against Texas. Halama cropped his pants in the first inning and gave up something like 6 runs. They brought in Ryan Franklin who shut em down and Boone went on to hit a couple dingers and knocked in another run or two with a double. I left that game with a sore hand from high fiving everyone around me. Booney, one of the great M's of the past. Now, off to watch 2001 highlights narrated by Dave Niehaus
Luke raley shouldn't make the team with his play compaird with other players sad thing better players will be lost better talent in Trammell watching them this spring it makes me through up a bit seeing him play like a slug on both sides and Trammell play like that is kinda bad for baseball in Seattle i know but it spring that raley was that bad not even a .100 avrage and he slower then he was last year it honestly embarrassing if he make a team you cut 2 guy hitting .300 about and playing way faster and more energy just reminds me not all moves are baseball I'm with you on Kirby gonna be absolutely ridiculous if he keeps the itch he has to be one the best of all time.
What the Mariners could really use is a second baseman that mashes 141 RBIs
I think this is easily a 90+ win team if nobody misses more than 3+ weeks over the course of the season. Health is obviously the key

I just looked and he's a free agent, his twitter said he is healthy now but debating whether or not to return to baseball
