I'm honestly shocked that you paid $200 for this in the state that it was in, sure it's lovely now, but you had to put in a lot of work to get it there
I’m stumped as to how anyone could think the shellac finish of that period is superior to the one you did. All that wood grain hidden for decades. There is no value to a finish that detracts from the beauty of the piece. Beautiful work as always.
Shellac is a beautiful, classical finish that can be either transparent or subtly tinted. For example check out many pieces on exhibit in the Met in New York. I'm sure the original piece was stunning when new. But when abused via liquid and sun exposure along with dust, it can cloud as here. It's also not as hard as modern varnishes, so accumulated fine scratches impart a haze. With all those flaws, a good shellac finish is still more durable than the oil used here, which will need periodic renewal forever. Finishes - as everything in life - have advantages and disadvantages.
I wonder how you think Shellack looked in the 1940’s. I think it was a whole different apperance than Today. But, that Aside, as usual, it is a wonderful masterpiece after refinishing! I want it!
yeah, this boggles my mind that anyone would look at a dingy, old, dirty and disgusting piece of furniture, with holes in veneer and cracked finish and think "wow, nobody should ever touch this thing cause it's basically perfect!" .... no, it needs to be repaired. look at that cabinet, the front doors took my breath away when finished.
@generessler6282 Shellac can be easily be refreshed and refinished, but it usually yellows. It is super easy to use and smooth though. Can't beat the dry time.
Most of the time, when Art Deco pieces were brand new, the wood grain was very vibrant and holographic. You notice that with Before & After photos of the Queen Mary in particular. But it darkens over time. So while the oil tone is different from the French polish look it probably had originally, I think it probably closely resembles its original look! It's beautiful!! Art Deco pieces are so rare and to see you sympathetically restoring it is very heartwarming.
Couldn't have said it better myself. I've watched a lot of refinishing/restoring videos and none compare. You have a passion and that energy transfers into the pieces you restore. Just incredible, the calibre of your work. ❤😊
That woodgrain! Looking at how it has been aligned to match on both sides of the doors so perfectly, that kind of craftmanship deserves to be shown, not hidden under some stuff, and you did it justice! Amazing!
If my husband were still alive, he would want to buy this piece today! So wonderful. I know this sounds corny, but it warms my heart when I see such old pieces come to life and 'give' again. And Happy Birthday!!! A new year has started for everyone, and for you especially!! All the best, Angie!
How beautiful! You just made that piece sustainable for another 100 years. I don't understand how anyone would prefer new furniture over these gorgeous restored pieces.
You are a true artist. For one so young you are a wealth of knowledge when it comes to refinishing furniture. I’m always impressed with your work but this time you floored me. This piece turned out absolutely stunning. Great job.
My first reaction when I first saw this piece was that it’s really interesting. My next reaction was that it was going to take a LOT of work. My final reaction was that Angie can fix it because she can fix anything! And when all was said and done, I was right. Once again, Angie, you’ve done a beautiful job and saved a piece of furniture from deteriorating into trash. This will find a home with someone who will be so proud to own it and display it. Thank you for what you do and sharing it!💕
Angie, this time you took my breath away with how beautiful this piece is now! The Art Deco style has always been my favorite, but this - WOW! Love the contrast, love the burled wood, and those Bakelite pulls! I've been refinishing furniture for over 40 years, and let me say, I bow to your Mastery of the Art! Thank you so much for the joy you bring to this Old Lady. Please continue to share your artistry with us. Stay safe & well, Blessings to you.
I think you not only restored this piece, I think you did it in a way that the original designers would have appreciated and approved of very much. It's a very timeless update that fits the modern but would have looked at home in Miss Fisher's favorite drawing room. And the way that wood shines is just ✨magic✨!
Wanted to say a big thank you for rescuing this piece, also many others you have worked on. Its almost heartbreaking to lose the craftsmanship and sense of style. Would adore it in my home!
Wow! There are people who refinish wood, then there’s you. Your vision for what the piece should look like, your high standards, amount of work you put into a piece are superior and beyond what anyone out there on the “web,” is willing to do, or knows how to do are just superior. I think you are one of a kind. Thank you for sharing with everyone.❤
Angie, you are God' gift to furniture. Great work and superb judgment in bringing out the natural beauty of the wood grain instead of letting it hide under the old finish. You never disappoint! :)
Scrolling through UA-cam, I came across your Art Deco buffet and I opened a window into a gifted artist's world of the most beautiful refinished/saved and vastly improved furniture I have ever seen! The life you lovingly imbued into this Art Deco buffet is absolutely, stunningly, beautiful. I immediately subscribed to your channel and opened an Instagram account so I could see your gallery of refinished furniture pieces. Beautiful!
Angie, this piece turned out outrageously beautiful. Your knowledge of wood and problems with finishes and how to solve those problems never ceases to amaze me. You are by far my favourite of all the channels I subscribe to.
That piece has NEVER looked so good. Absolutely beautiful!! I'd much rather see that gorgeous wood than the thick shellac. When I look at it I keep seeing a scene in the pattern, hills, houses, etc. So pretty.
I’m so glad your were the one to take on this piece. So many others should have ended up painting it and covering up that gorgeous figuring. Beautifully done, Angie!
You brought the whole piece to life. It really is 'on fire' with the wood grain being the obvious focal point. Jaw dropping is the correct phrase. Thanks for taking us on this fabulous adventure. It looks amazing.
This is gorgeous now that you've appreciated it. That beautiful veneer deserves to be seen and appreciated. I do understand preservation of antiques, though what you started with really needed help desperately! and this is an improvement for sure.
That really was a diamond in the rough. You transformed an architecturally interesting piece into a stunning work of art. Absolutely beautiful. Your choices on letting the wood speak for itself were spot on. Thank you.😊👍👍👍
I love Art Deco pieces and don't usually think of them as having a design like this. The transformation is stunning! When seeing the final product, I really got what you meant about the older stain covering up the wood grain. The flame pattern as you so aptly described it, is gorgeous! More Art Deco pieces, please!
Every time you do one of these restorations on an old piece, I think "wow, this is the most gorgeous piece Angie's ever done, it's perfect!" and then you do it again. I sure hope the people who live near enough to you to buy your work appreciate what a gift that is.
I'm with you on the wood grain issue. Why would anyone cover it in a dark shellac when you can let it be a beautiful part of the piece. I love what you did with this item, really brought it back to life. Great job! Thinking maybe you need to invest in some kind of air filtration system for the fumes. Terrific video - I couldn't wait to see the reveal.
The dark trim does indeed complement the lovely burl walnut veneer beautifully -- much more drama than keeping it light. The door handles are delightfully individual and add to the art deco charm. And your new drawers are a lovely upgrade. Beautifully done.
I think you just made the original crafts person's heart sing!! You brought out the original intention & beauty of the piece! You can almost hear it sing with joy. 😄🤗😍💜
Oh my ! This is one of the most beautiful restorations to date . It is magical . I’m sure it is more elegant than the day it came off the factory floor. Who ever gets to have this in their home will be very fortunate . Keep up your excellent work so that we can experience perfection.
I love the wood!! I was just thinking to myself that it looked like it was on fire and you showed the original finish next to it and said the same thing. Sooo beautiful!
Stunning! Breathtaking! The grain is incredible! The dark elements and the handles are from another planet! It's like the piece was deliberately hidden under the shellac and was waiting for you to reveal its majestic, enchanting beauty. Happy birthday Angie! I wish all the best and above all I wish you health. Thanks so much for sharing
Angie, your projects are getting more and more intense! I can’t believe how gorgeous this piece turned out- you’re a magic-maker! When you say, “Fire” I believe it! This is absolutely Fire!!!
Wow, this is amazing. Every time you do an art deco piece, I'm reminded how lucky i am that my beautiful water fall vanity is in such good condition and was finished to really show off the beautiful grain.
Your instincts throughout the restoration of this piece were other-worldly. You were right on the money to not cover up that stunning pattern on the veneer. Same with how you applied the veneer to the sides with the grain running horizontally instead of vertically. The effect looks like a continuation of the grain on each of the curved side doors. This could be a museum piece, it's so spectacularly beautiful. And you built your own jigs and power tool attachments while you were at it!! #awestruck I'm running out of superlatives!!
Wow!! I know I’ve said this at least a dozen times before, but THIS has got to be my favourite piece so far! The front cabinet doors do, indeed, look like they are on fire; absolutely beautifully matched! The grain on the various pieces, the gorgeous handles, the scrumptious Bakelite … STUNNING! So. Much. Work. OMG!! Thank you for another fantastic video!
I’m sure the original was ‘in style’ when it was made, but imho, your piece exudes class. I’ve been following you for a bit and I love how you listen to the piece. You have an amazing style and are a joy to watch. ❤
I just want to give you a little attagirl for how good your editing and voiceovers are !! 🎉 People don't realize how much work goes into filming in the present with the forethought for what you'll need to be narrating in the future and making sure you capture both adequately. The little section beginning at 5:23 is perfect!!
Haha, that’s sweet of you to say, and you’re very right. Often when I’m filming, I’m mouthing roughly what I expect I would say in the voiceover, so that my hand movements (mostly) line up. People often ask why I use music in the background and not shop sounds, and part of it is because all you’d hear would be me mumbling to myself, hahaha!
@TranscendFurnitureGallery your videos are very well-produced. I love that your finished project and staging shots are always the same format with the same music. It's reliable and oddly satisfying. This cabinet really was spectacular. The burled wood did look like 🔥. One of your best pieces imo.
I adore these old art deco pieces and 100% agree with your treatment of that gorgeous burled veneer. I know it's not everyone's style but I love the natural finish with the beauty of the grain shining through. Another awesome video and it turned out so pretty.
Beautiful objects always bring a tear to my eyes. I have shed many a tear on your furniture rescues. You are talented in seeing what can be done to bring out the beauty in each and every one of your pieces. Thank you for filming these miracles
Hi Angie, Another very beautiful fire grain hiding underneath that you brought to life!! What a God given talent you display in your work!! As always, God bless and take care from your California subscriber 🙏 🤲
Oh my gosh - that is one of the most beautiful pieces of furniture that I think I’ve ever seen. If I could buy that I think I would drive from Michigan to pick it up. ❤❤❤
You are a very talented artist, and the passion that you have for the beauty of wood comes out in your spectacular pieces. The goal of a good makeup artist wouldn't be to just put a mask over a person's face. They would use their skills to enhance the beauty that is already there. And that is what you do. You enhance the natural beauty that is already there in the wood. Your pieces are all jaw dropping, and it is a pleasure to see you take such great care and tenderness to give these pieces new life.
This is a magnificent piece of furniture, and it found its way into the hands of the right person. There’s no style like Art Deco, and you did this cabinet justice for a new life.
Angie, this is amazing! Every detail is perfect - and you put so much love and artistry into it. It would be interesting to know how much it sold for, after being purchased for $200 and having so many hours invested in it. You've created an heirloom quality piece that will be admired for generations to come.
that was an absolutely magical transformation. the sideboard brought back memories for me as my granny had one just like it that my grandparents had bought when first married. hers was as perfect as the day she got it.
This is beautiful and I love the 3 drawers (instead of 2). Such a useable piece in a small home. Love the 2 tones and the finish. Glad you kept the old handles! The new drawer handles too.
Very glamorous in the best natural way. The woodgrain is stunning and letting that come back to life was the right choice. I love Art Deco style. Beautiful job! *Standing ovation* 😺
This is absolutely one of my favorite pieces you’ve restored!! That “fiery” wood grain was exactly that….FIRE🔥!! I paint furniture and do a bit of restoration and find myself getting attached to pieces, thus making it hard to part with them. This would definitely be one such item. Stunning….utterly gorgeous!
Angie,, you have over 3000 comments so I am sure you have heard all the praise before. I have to add in that this completed piece is breath taking. The original piece . . . not so much. When I was small I would spend hours in the basement with my Dad. He made me "little" workbench of my own. Now I am so looking forward to retiring in August of 2024. You don't understand how you influence people. The way that you teach is wonderful. That is why have started to buy the tools I may need, just small ones. I already have some o the bigger tools. Just things like card scrappers, proper marking material, squares etc. It was after watching ALL your videos I decided for sure that this is what I would like to do upon my retirement. I love to watch you bring pieces like this back to life. Thank you so Much, my very best to you and yours. Katie A
Jaw dropping is right! Angie, you did an incredible job on this stunning piece! I just love watching you as you painstakingly care for every detail of every piece you work on. I wish this one belonged to me! 😢😂❤
STUNNING! ... as usual! ❤ Yes, show off that beautiful grain. I love it. You made it look so mod, like it needs to go in a multi-million dollar house. It's perfection.
I'm 80 yrs and all my life I have enjoyed to see transformation ,a messy home,to a clean orderly home, a frumpy person to a handsome etc watching your work is great my 2nd show.
Another incredible job on my favorite style of furniture. The burl grain in the doors is spectabular and a definite improvement over the original finish. Thank you for bringing this beautiful piece back to life and sharing the process with us!
Insane! The exquisite grain on the veneer is something extraordinary. I prefer your finish over the original every day of the week, no comparison! Loved the shine of the darker wood combined with the oiled finish. Your work to update the drawers is perfection, and the red felt bottoms is a nice touch. Truly one of my favorites Angie!!

My grandmother had the entire dining set. Buffett, table w/additional leaves, 6 chairs. My sister has it now!💖

Absolutely. Art deco pieces are supposed to look expensive and fine. Another beautiful job. Thank you.
I prefer how you have finished it...STUNNING original finish is to dull doesn't do it justice. Love your restores...girl ur da bomb
Thank you very much! I appreciate that!! 😊
THAT WOODGRAIN, OMG!! It's stunning, Angie. Brilliant job.
Thank you so much!! I'm so glad you like it!!! 😁
I honestly think that it's a million times prettier than if you'd have tried to keep the original varnish on it. I am in love with this piece.
Thank you very much! I'm so glad you like it! 😀
yes absolutely stunning
I just told my husband, "This girl is a miracle worker with wood"! The attention to detail you have is AMAZING! ❤
Wow, thank you!
I love safety Angie with her air quality tool . You definitely are one of the most safety conscious of the furniture channels I watch.
I especially like the calm and structured way you work, the cleanliness of your shop and the extraordinarily beauty of your finished pieces. Wow.
Thank you so much! 😊
I was thinking the same thing, It is very calming.
Exactly this. She's so calm and deliberate. I've just been watching all night every night it's so comforting plus I'm learning so much.
Couldn't have said it better myself. I've watched a lot of refinishing/restoring videos and none compare. You have a passion and that energy transfers into the pieces you restore. Just incredible, the calibre of your work. ❤😊

yes as an Australian I would love to see you come over here for a ‘holiday’ and work on some of four hardwood colonial pieces .❤
You have taken this piece from granny’s old bedroom to the set of a full colour Hollywood movie set …..just gorgeous❤
Wow, thank you so much!!! 🙂
If my husband were still alive, he would want to buy this piece today! So wonderful. I know this sounds corny, but it warms my heart when I see such old pieces come to life and 'give' again.
And Happy Birthday!!! A new year has started for everyone, and for you especially!! All the best, Angie!
Thank you so much for the kind words!! ❤️
How beautiful! You just made that piece sustainable for another 100 years. I don't understand how anyone would prefer new furniture over these gorgeous restored pieces.
I'm so glad you like it! 😁
The veneer grain on this is mind boggling. Great job!
Isn't it gorgeous?? Thank you so much for watching! 😊
God is an amazing artist!
You are a true artist. For one so young you are a wealth of knowledge when it comes to refinishing furniture. I’m always impressed with your work but this time you floored me. This piece turned out absolutely stunning. Great job.
Wow, thank you so much! I'm so glad you like how it turned out!
What makes you special is the respect you have for the wood, the piece and the stories it could tell, not what’s trending 🙏❤️
Thank you so much! 😊
Truth.
My first reaction when I first saw this piece was that it’s really interesting. My next reaction was that it was going to take a LOT of work. My final reaction was that Angie can fix it because she can fix anything! And when all was said and done, I was right. Definitely a roller coaster of emotion, isn't it? 😂😂 I completely agree though.

Stay safe & well, Blessings to you.
Never fear - I have no plans to stop! There are still so many pieces to save. 🙂
You breathed new life into it and turned it into a stunning example of Art Deco....Congratulations!
Thank you! 😊
I think you not only restored this piece, I think you did it in a way that the original designers would have appreciated and approved of very much. It's a very timeless update that fits the modern but would have looked at home in Miss Fisher's favorite drawing room. And the way that wood shines is just ✨magic✨!
Sooo many extra points for the Miss Fisher reference!
I'm so glad you like it! Thank you so much!! 😊
Angie, OMG, the wood grain is spectacular! It made the hair on my arms stand up in tribute. Great choices; I love this piece. 🎉
Thank you kindly!!! 😀
Wanted to say a big thank you for rescuing this piece, also many others you have worked on. Its almost heartbreaking to lose the craftsmanship and sense of style. Would adore it in my home!
Thank you very much! 😊
Wow! There are people who refinish wood, then there’s you. You're so welcome! Thank you so much for the fantastic comment!
I LOVE Angie's work!
Flippingdrawers is fantastic!
Beautiful. I wish you could mentor some young apprentice folks so that this skill and craft doesn't get lost any time soon.
I'm in awe at your ability to deconstruct and repair these beautiful pieces! The new finish is glorious!
Thank you so much 😀
Angie, you are God' gift to furniture. Great work and superb judgment in bringing out the natural beauty of the wood grain instead of letting it hide under the old finish. You never disappoint! :)
Thank you so much 😊

This is gorgeous now that you've appreciated it. That beautiful veneer deserves to be seen and appreciated. I do understand preservation of antiques, though what you started with really needed help desperately! and this is an improvement for sure.
This is just magnificent! I can visualize Jeeves opening it to make cocktails for Wooster and his flapper date in 1924. A whole century ago!
Totally!
Incredible!! One of the most beautiful pieces of furniture that I’ve ever seen!!😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️
Wow!! Thank you so much ! 😊
That really was a diamond in the rough. You transformed an architecturally interesting piece into a stunning work of art. Absolutely beautiful. Your choices on letting the wood speak for itself were spot on. Thank you.😊👍👍👍

I recently asked you to please show us more Art Deco pieces. This is exactly what I was craving! Thanks for this beautiful video.
You're very welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I love Art Deco pieces and don't usually think of them as having a design like this. The transformation is stunning! When seeing the final product, I really got what you meant about the older stain covering up the wood grain. The flame pattern as you so aptly described it, is gorgeous! More Art Deco pieces, please!
Thanks so much Janice!
I can imagine such a piece of furniture in an episode of “The Thin Man”. So glamorous and sophisticated!
Thanks so much! 😀
Wow, this piece looks gorgeous, Angie! You made all the right decisions and let the wood shine in it's real beauty.
Thank you very much! 😊
Oh my gooodNESS!!! It was like fireworks going off when you revealed the front!!!!!! Wow!!!!! Stunning!!!
Thank you so much!! 😊
You are such a wood whisperer 😎/love the history but also your knowledge & respect for the original workmanship. Elizabeth
Thank you kindly!
Every time you do one of these restorations on an old piece, I think "wow, this is the most gorgeous piece Angie's ever done, it's perfect!" and then you do it again. I sure hope the people who live near enough to you to buy your work appreciate what a gift that is.
Thank you so much 😊
I typically don't watch furniture restoration videos but I do find yours very enjoyable and informative.
I'm so glad to hear that Lisa! Thank you so much for watching! 😊

Oh WOW!!! The doors are BEAUTIFUL!! The old girl is glowing again!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you so much for watching! 😊
Thank you for keeping that piece in its proper state and not painting it purple or pink or some other inappropriate color. ❤
The dark trim does indeed complement the lovely burl walnut veneer beautifully -- much more drama than keeping it light. The door handles are delightfully individual and add to the art deco charm. And your new drawers are a lovely upgrade. Beautifully done.
Thank you so much Susan! 😊
Have never cared for art deco. But this is incredibly beautiful!!!!! Your attention to detail and your artistry is over the top.
I appreciate that! Thank you so much for watching! 😊
Art deco was meant to beautiful when done correctly
This is hands down the most beautiful restoration you’ve done IMO. What a gorgeous shape this piece has!!! Whoever bought this has got a real gem!
Thank you very much! 😊
I've had the same problem with the fence moving. Clamp a piece of wood next to it; that helps.
I think you just made the original crafts person's heart sing!! You brought out the original intention & beauty of the piece!
You can almost hear it sing with joy. 😄🤗😍💜
Wow, thank you very much! I really appreciate that! 😊
Angie, I can’t express how relaxing your videos are. Not to mention what beautiful beautiful work you do I love all your videos and all your work.
Im so glad to hear that! Thank you so much for watching! 😊

So gorgeous. Those figures in the wood grain truly symbolize the Art Deco era. Amazing work.
Thank you very much! 😀
Well done, Ange - you gave this piece back its dignity.
Thank you so much for watching! 😊
Incredible! I love the bookmatched burl on the front!!! Amazing!!! Love these restorations!! ❤❤❤
Thank you so much! 😊
I love the wood!! I was just thinking to myself that it looked like it was on fire and you showed the original finish next to it and said the same thing. Sooo beautiful!
Awesome! Thank you!

Thank you so much for watching! 😊
This was magical. I love the art deco pieces. You bring back the romance of these pieces. ❤
Awe, thank you so much! I really appreciate that!
Wow, this is amazing. Every time you do an art deco piece, I'm reminded how lucky i am that my beautiful water fall vanity is in such good condition and was finished to really show off the beautiful grain.
You are very lucky indeed!! 😊
IMO your artist eye never fails you! The stunning beauty that is now this piece is just incredible and so much more than the original finish.
Thank you so much 😀
OMGOMGOMG! Angie - O.M.G! This piece is absolutely breathtaking. It's replaced the night stands as my new fave of all your work. Well done!
Thank you very much! 😊
Stunning. It glows. And the two-tone looks amazing. You never fail to impress.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it!
WOW!!! You turned that into one of the most beautiful pieces I've ever seen. Absolutely great workmanship!!!
Thank you so much 😊

Awe, thank you very much! I really appreciate it! 😊
You're so welcome! I'm so glad you like how it turned out!! 😁
Beautiful choices of finish! Letting the natural grain be the star of the show, is always a good choice.
Yes! Thank you!
You brought the wood grain back to life! So beautiful.
Thank you so much! 😊
MAGNIFICENT...absolutely Stunning. BEST ONE YOU'VE DONE BY FAR.
Thank you so much! 😊
You outdo yourself every time! This piece is insanely beautiful.
Thank you very much! 😊
I'm always in awe of how much work you put into each piece! It turned out beautifully!
Thank you very much! 😀
I’m sure the original was ‘in style’ when it was made, but imho, your piece exudes class. I’ve been following you for a bit and I love how you listen to the piece. You have an amazing style and are a joy to watch. ❤
Wow, thank you!
It's gorgeous!! That wood is amazing!
I agree completely! Thank you so much for watching! 😊
It looks amazing. These pieces deserve to shine and you give that to them.
Wow, thank you!
Angie, this is just breathtaking! You're Phenomenal!
I'm so glad you like it Denise! 😀
I just want to give you a little attagirl for how good your editing and voiceovers are !! 🎉
People don't realize how much work goes into filming in the present with the forethought for what you'll need to be narrating in the future and making sure you capture both adequately.
100 thumbs up!
I adore these old art deco pieces and 100% agree with your treatment of that gorgeous burled veneer. I know it's not everyone's style but I love the natural finish with the beauty of the grain shining through. Another awesome video and it turned out so pretty.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! 😊
So far this is my favorite video of yours so far! Amazing work!
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you like it! 😊
Angie, you have never disappointed in your point of view of how you decide to renew a piece of furniture. This is undeniably gorgeous‼
Thank you so much!! 😊
Beautiful objects always bring a tear to my eyes. I have shed many a tear on your furniture rescues. You are talented in seeing what can be done to bring out the beauty in each and every one of your pieces. Thank you for filming these miracles
You're most welcome! I'm so glad you like it!
Hi Angie, Another very beautiful fire grain hiding underneath that you brought to life!! What a God given talent you display in your work!! As always, God bless and take care from your California subscriber 🙏 🤲
Thank you so much! 😊
Wow Angie! I love the way the finish on the walnut makes it look like textured copper. Wonderful❣️
I'm so glad you like it! 😀
Oh my gosh - that is one of the most beautiful pieces of furniture that I think I’ve ever seen. If I could buy that I think I would drive from Michigan to pick it up. ❤❤❤
Thank you so much for watching! 😊
Wow, thank you so much! I really appreciate that! 😊
This is a magnificent piece of furniture, and it found its way into the hands of the right person. There’s no style like Art Deco, and you did this cabinet justice for a new life.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that! 😊
Angie, this is amazing! Every detail is perfect - and you put so much love and artistry into it. It would be interesting to know how much it sold for, after being purchased for $200 and having so many hours invested in it. You've created an heirloom quality piece that will be admired for generations to come.
This hasn't been posted yet, it will be posted on Friday January 26th via my Instagram and Facebook.
Angie, you blow me away with your talent. You really show the difference in refinishing vs restoring. This piece shines now.
Thank you so much Becky! 😊
that was an absolutely magical transformation. the sideboard brought back memories for me as my granny had one just like it that my grandparents had bought when first married. hers was as perfect as the day she got it.
That is wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing!
This is beautiful and I love the 3 drawers (instead of 2). Such a useable piece in a small home. Love the 2 tones and the finish. Glad you kept the old handles! The new drawer handles too.
Thank you so much!
Very glamorous in the best natural way. The woodgrain is stunning and letting that come back to life was the right choice. I love Art Deco style. Beautiful job! *Standing ovation* 😺
Thank you so much!
Glad you liked it!
Art Deco is my favorite, and you have more than done this justice - it is GORGEOUS!! As always, of course. 😊
Thank you so much!
Wow! I've never seen a grain pattern like that before, but it's spectacular. You've done an amazing job as usual!
Thank you kindly!
Katie A
Oh you're so welcome Katie! I'm so happy to read your comment! Thank you so much for watching and I'm so glad you're learning lots! ❤️
Jaw dropping is right! Angie, you did an incredible job on this stunning piece! I just love watching you as you painstakingly care for every detail of every piece you work on. I wish this one belonged to me! 😢😂❤
Painstaking is a good word for it! Take it from me, I have to listen to the complaints! Hahaha 😉
Thank you so much Pat!
STUNNING! ... as usual! ❤ Yes, show off that beautiful grain. I love it. You made it look so mod, like it needs to go in a multi-million dollar house. It's perfection.
Wow, thank you so much! 😊
I'm 80 yrs and all my life I have enjoyed to see transformation ,a messy home,to a clean orderly home, a frumpy person to a handsome etc watching your work is great my 2nd show.
I'm so glad you're enjoying my content! Thank you so much for watching! 😀
Another incredible job on my favorite style of furniture. The burl grain in the doors is spectabular and a definite improvement over the original finish. Thank you for bringing this beautiful piece back to life and sharing the process with us!
You're so welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed it! 😊
Wow, thanks!
I am speechless over the beauty you managed to find in that piece of "junk"... Totally awesome!
Thank you very much! 😀
