I considered that as well. Probably would suit better. I was just trying to use what I already had, where I overpaid for the piece and then spent a week redoing it. Haha. But yes, I was picturing those little round ones. :-)

I have been using stain pens a number of years and i’m so happy to see you using your finger to even it out and touch it up because I have always use them that way and I see a lot of other flippers who take less time, they just color in with it like I felt tip marker and they don’t rub it in properly. I learned so much from watching you. Thank you for confirming that I have been doing it the right way.

You used that eucalyptus paint and bondo to fill that broken corner, the missing edge banding, and the tracks for the doors - and paid $7 for it, I think. Rewatched it again and again. Also love the segment of you playing with your cat, and how you donated it to a charity-type thing.

Wow....really amazing. Seeing all the injuries, I didn't see how you could help this piece. It truly turned out great. Love this!

Welcome back! So glad you went on that "exotic" trip! The experience of coming across animals on their natural environment is amazing. You did wonders with this mini bar! I was so impressed with the way the handles turned out! Adding wheels was brilliant! Besides the wonderful restoration the wallpaper adds character on the piece! Keep it! Again I learned new things watching your video! Thanks so much for sharing all the details and steps of your inspiring work.

Angie, you’ve done it again! This sad little cabinet has had a Cinderella transformation. It, is going to the ball. Such patience and perseverance. My heart sank when I saw so much damage to the veneer. I truly doubted that you would be able restore it. I love how you were able to polish out the scratches on the brass handles. Love the shape of them by the way. I learned so much; thank you.🫡

That wallpaper is from Target. Opalhouse is their bohemian/world-traveler decor line, and they made a number of re-positionable wallpapers with floral and foliage motifs.

"...once that's done, I can go ahead and strip.......the cabinet. Strip the CABINET!"
wonderful job......love your work, and sense of humor....both are spot on! keep it up!
PS- The wallpaper was/is sold in Target stores in Canada till they closed them down....probably explaining the discontinued papers. US Targets still sell it.

An amazing transformation!! 😮 Enjoyed seeing how the cabinet holds the accessories.
Seems like replacing the missing shelf would enhance functionality.

Holy crap! talk about a transformation. Transcend Furniture is right, this piece is transcendental. Masterful work

As always a better than new transformation, you are truly talented, the original designer would be proud to see how you improved their original.

I love your channel and your work. When I was in my teens, my dad bought a wood hull boat. The painter (his name was Harry) in the boat yard took me under his wing and schooled me in the art of refinishing the transom. It is an art and also a labor of love just like when you restore your pieces. I found that I had a talent for it, so much so, that people actually commented on how beautiful it turned out. That set me up with a passion for restoring wood furniture. I don’t do it professionally, as you do, but I’ve done quite a few pieces over the years. You are an inspiration! 😊

That was an amazingly informative bit of chat about veneers and how they make a piece of furniture more structurally sound. Never would have thought that in a million years!

First of all, I am so pleased that you and your family got away for that exotic vacation. Second of all, please keep this little bar cabinet. It's unusual in its design. Third of all, you knocked it out of the park with the repairs and the colors you chose for it; such a rich brown on the veneer, such a brilliant solution for the inside.

Enjoyed seeing sweet Muffin! Once again, you did an amazing job - I cannot believe how someone else scratched the heck out of this piece with a wire brush - insane! You did such a great job with it, I hate to see you sell this one. So much work in it, you almost need to keep it for yourself as a reward!

Poor little cabinet! How lucky that it ended up with the best furniture nurse around who refuses to give up no matter how bad a condition it was in! I do admire your tenacity - you certainly like a challenge 😊

    It’s a beautiful piece!
I will never understand why people let such gorgeous wood case goods go to ruin.
    Great job as always.
