Truly magnificent from the air - I really hate the A303 being there and the tarmac path but understand it protects the ground and presvents further wear. There is certainly an energy around Stonehenge and the only other place I have felt it is Ayer's Rock/Uluru.
Drones are so incredible! Perfect for capturing a spot from a completely different perspective, a unique birds eye view. Especially important for a site like this where going in at ground level is restricted to protect the environment etc 😎👍 I think the tarmac path near the stones is an awful idea, a much better solution would be a more natural and less invasive pathway like small stones or gravel or even wood chippings!! Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed watching. 😎👍
Unfortunately, not permitted. National Trust and English Heritage have explicitly banned UAV’s over their sites. I’ve been cautious of this before, The Needles is a great place to fly as long as you don’t fly over or within a certain distance. Most of your footage would have been acceptable except when you flew over. Nevertheless you have captured the art of drone videography very well, try some fade transitions or blend to soften it a little. 👍👍
Unless the CAA impose a flight restriction in that area then the heritage people cannot stop you flying over. Just don't take off or land on their property
Very nice, Was about to say what already has(but I like a bit of the other answers, can, sort of!). Say's me that made a video at White horse hill and did go up from there and knew it was a bit dodgy but took the risk, no staff. So as not on the land when taking off, all good. Always read as can't with English heritage. National trust. So me wrong then. would not be keen when staff, people there and cant go over people with what I got. 360g or so. Nice video. I have done a bike ride there on my own. big circle I got a route off a bike ride internet site, went by next to it. Some path at the side.
And this is why I love drones. You can reach places and get viewing angles previously not possible for tourists.
Beautiful shots mate!
Beautiful place. Great aerial captures. Great music choice.
Oh wow, now I am jealous.😉 I would love to fly over Stonehenge, too. Great shots and nice video, my friend.👏👌

@@mananddroneuk Agree. It’s not illegal. 😊
So what is the difference between not illegal and not permitted?
