@@curtisrutledge910 yea I just meant on the the 2 plays alone was 150 plus yards and 2 TDS not to mention the 3rd TD on him like he got completely exposed
He played like crap, but he’s not the problem. The problem is bigger than him. Jim Knowles and his scheme are the “problems”. He’s not made for this stage. You can’t not make a 5’9 3/4” quarterback uncomfortable and let him sit back there and pick you apart. They were good statistically simply because they hadn’t played anybody. Knowles is mismanaging this defense at every level. It’s frustrating because it is so obvious.
This video is ridiculous. Austin and Zach ALWAYS underestimate our opponents and then make outrageous score predictions. I’ve been watching it for years. And then when Ohio State doesn’t meet their crazy expectations, they throw the biggest fits. Zach can’t believe we almost gave up 500 yds offense. Well so did Oregon. Both Alabama and Georgia gave up 500+ yards when they played. Do all these defenses and coaches suck?? Or is this just big time college football sometimes? Of course there are problems to fix, but it was a 1 point loss, on the road, against a top 4 team. Every rational person knew it was going to be an extremely difficult game. But when you predict Ohio State is going to win by 28 points, that’s on you for having ridiculous expectations.
It's the coaches faults the buckeyes lost this game not the podcasters. Day is the problem at Ohio State, he needs to walk. He's a coach that is ojt'ing at Ohio State. The university dropped the coaching standard here and that's why they will win zero championships here in Columbus. They better beat Michigan or Day is gone for sure. When money walks, they'll have no choice....and this time hire an Ohio native
Knowles promised after the '22 Michigan loss that this wouldn't happen again and he'd get it fixed. Yet every big game since then, he's done the same thing defensively. This ain't the Big12, my guy!
@@johnmark4570 Sadly, I wasn't either. Coach Day didn't even seem angry afterwards. it boggles my mind that people are already talking about a rematch in the ccg. This team is not tough, not fierce and not a well-oiled machine.
Larry Johnson and Jim Knowles gotta fix the defense or both can go asap. We have way too many NFL caliber players on defense to play like that. Our DL hasn't been dominant since Chase Young left.
@@buckguy1215we didn't play Bama that season, next season we beat Clemson, and lost to bama. Young was gone then. When Young and the bossa's were there we got sacks, but since Knowles, we're sack less. When we beat Clemson, Coombs was DC.
@@dearriusprice150 I've thought about this over and over. When Jim would say in his presser we want to contain the edges, that tells me your not going after the QB. I know JT has the talent, we saw it against Penn State. Now we have to ask ourselves, was that just luck or what?
Glad Zach asked why you wouldn't put Matthews in for a series just to try and get Burke right, he clearly got in his head and was too busy trying to make a splash.
Why is Day nit laying into Knowles?! THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE! We have all the talent in the world. The defensive performance in every single big game is unacceptable
It was OPI. Whining about whether or not that call matches the DPI criteria used earlier or the OPI/DPI criteria used on the other side of the ball is very, very weak. Hell, if you want to complain about the refs, take our first TD off the board because that was an INT. The bottom line is that the defense was awful. No pressure and DBs that aren't as fast or effective as the WRs is bad news. However, they also average 5.0 a run. So, it's not like our run defense was anything to laud either. They beat us. Could we have played a better game, absolutely. On offense, were not a good team. We were a good passing team. We have no power run game. TH did break one big run that was blocked well. Other than that, we averaged 2.75 yards per carry...not good Bob.
I say again they have RAN the ball after the Ebuka catch...Run ur best running play get close as u can call time out and kicked the field goal.. at least we would have got a chance to kick the field goal...but to lose without even getting a chance hurts
Johnson needs to retire for sure. His units vanish in talent equated games. I do question whether Knowles has full buy in from the rest of the staff, I feel like Day wants Knowles to take control because that is his guy. Not sure if that is happening behind the scenes.
You realize Oregon gave up 470 yards. Alabama and Georgia gave up 500+ yards each when they played. Are all these defenses lost and not in sync, or is this just college football in big games?
@@heidelbergdawg6934but all great “elite” defenses give up yards and points. Uga and bama this year. Uga both years they won the chip they had Bryce young torch them in the first match up then Jamison got hurt the second go around. They gave up hella yards and points to Ohio state until Marv got hurt. The pattern is in college football elite offense is going to beat elite defense just how the game is
Most overrated and overhyped defense in the history of Ohio State football. It’s the same issue. As soon as they play against level talent they falter. Every. Single. Time. Defense wins championships. This team will not win one until massive changes are made. I don’t think Knowles is the guy and I think we need to get new guys in the game.
Not giving safety help over the top for 4 full quarters is absolutely insane. Not blitzing for 4 full quarters when the front d line can't get home is absolutely insane.
I agree with everyone about the defense but this is what the defense has been since Knowles has gotten to Columbus. Great against inferior teams and outmatched against talent equivalent teams. Just what it is. OSU had the ball with 1:45 left and again couldn’t get it done offensively. So frustrating. Clock management from head coach and senior QB was so bad. That can be fixed but the Josh Simmons’s injury might be our undoing. Hope I am wrong. Go Bucks!
Did JTT or Sawyer win a single rep in that game? If so i didn't see it. If these guys are supposed to be elite and knowles is determined to rely on just rushing 4 then at some point these guys have to win a damn rep. I didn't know Oregon had all world tackles out there because they dominated JTT and Sawyer all night.
My eyes saw Jack Sawyer being mugged with Holding that was uncalled all game long…! Then the OPI on JJ was questionable So perhaps the Refs were West Coast biased…..? 👁️👁️👁️🏈

Couldn’t agree more. You could have called OPI all game on both teams. Official let it go all night and only call it when the game is in the balance is ridiculous.
The LJ/Knowles rift came to a head in front of a national audience Saturday night. LJ does not allow the DL to cut it loose and is insistent on cage rushing as opposed to letting your D Ends just go.
OSU got spoiled over the 6yr period we had the Bosa Brothers and Chase Young. The recent Buckeyes have lots of superstars on the offensive side of the ball but the defense has merely lots of good players, not great players. And Jim Knowles defensive schemes are becoming glaringly questionable?
Ohio state was gifted seven points on their first drive that was clearly an interception . The referees didn't even take a look at it the announcers looked at it several times.
Oregon was gifted the Pass Interference at the end and the Officials missed many Oregon holding OL penalties.Of course that fumble on their second drive probably cost OSU another touchdown.
That offensive pass interference call was blatant and legit. Just because it's the final moments of a big game doesn't mean the rules go out the window. Smith shoved off, full extension, with both hands, at the top of his route. Easy call, everytime. The Buckeyes were already gifted a horrible no call in that first quarter interception that lead to 7 points. Now you're crying you didn't get another bail out by the officials? Oregon won the game despite the refs, not because of them.
That was clearly offensive p.i. on Jeremiah. The audacity to call that an officiating controversy when OSU got away with multiple muggings on Evan Stewart and Ferguson. Smh.. Not to mention the 7 points the refs flat out gave you on the first drive missing that obvious interception.
@@mychalowens127 it should have been ruled incomplete. they were both bobbling it and their butts went down. Cant believe many are saying it was an INT. @@mychalowens127 yes it does. If one player is down, say, he fell down, is untouched, he can catch the ball. If TWO guys are battling, it's different. One of them has to secure it before they go down. you cant have two guys down and the one the comes up with it award the catch to (unless he was the only one to control it the whole time). think back to ruling at the end of the VT Miami game. it's similar to that.
The lack of a pass rush, whether scheme, performance, or both is just absurd at this point. This defense has the personal to truly be elite, yet in every big game the completely fall apart.
Ryan needs to get Knowles and LJ together in a meeting room and hash everything out. This is now on Day - if these guys aren't willing to compromise they both need to be done. This will be on Ryan's head until he gets it figured out. I thought Chip had a good game plan, but penalties killed us.
Austin, "Ohio State lost the game more than Oregon won it." - Reality, "Ohio State should have lost by 8+ after getting a gifted 7 pts on the 1st drive after an Oregon interception not reviewed, missed field goals, extra pt, 2 pt conversions."
It's time to DOMINATE every team u play moving forward to let the country know that we lost the game and Oregon didn't beat us...the onside kick was a fluke but also genius

They are not going to dominate everyone. Not enough fire, toughness, or mental discipline. They don't even practice tackling. The culture is not serious enough.
Dear Buckeye fans, if we hit a field goal at the end and won, you will still have felt almost as bad…the D let this team down. So the task is the same learn and move on, all the teams goals are still out there to be had.
D line wasnt there all night last night, Coaching was crap, Ward lost millions, knowles didnt help him out any. coach chip gotta remember hes in the big 10, 1st on their 28, with time on the clock, run the damn ball . I agree , ball at the 28 yard line...easy FG from there but no , chip takes a high risk throw to Smith & paid for it with a Loss of 20+ yards ...STUPID ! ...run up the middle spot the ball & kick the damn thing for the W.....Stupid as hell
I’m sorry, but Smith 100% pushed off and that OPI call was correct. Regardless of how it was officiated prior. He created 5+ yards of separation immediately. I don’t care how athletic you are, you’re not doing that without pushing off. Let’s not forget, Ohio State was blessed with 7 points on the opening drive because the refs didn’t review the interception. Both teams made mistakes and honestly Oregon made more of them. Had Oregon played a clean game and the refs got the interception call correct that last series wouldn’t have even mattered. Can’t wait to see these teams playing again at the end of the year
In the last 6 games against teams ranked in the top 5 at the end of the year, we are 0-6 plus Oregon Saturday, The defense has allowed an average of 40.5 points, 501 yards, created only 0.5 TO's, only 1 sack and only 3 TFL per game. That is failure at all levels and dates back to the Bama loss.
It was a great game, and both teams played well. Super happy Oregon is now in the B1G. Match-ups like Oregon vs Ohio State are priceless! The OSU fans a Autzen were passionate, and I was impressed with the ones near us. Go Ducks! 🦆
THE PENALTIES ON THE OFFENSE. THE BAD TACKLES / OUT OF POSITION AND LACK OF PRESSURE BY DEFENSE. SOME OF THE SAME ISSUES FOR THE LAST THREE YEARS AGAINST GOOD TEAMS.
Definitely not time to panic but time seriously reevaluate how we play. If it’s true we don’t tackle in practice… it makes sense we missed so many of them.
“I don’t think that that was an OPI.” 😮 Could there even be a more obvious OPI? The defender almost fell on his back. Then, not a word about the worst call in the game which was the wrong call on the obvious interception. That bad call was worth 7 points but we don’t want to talk about that. The problem here fellas is that most of us can’t accept the fact that we all believed the hype. “OSU has better receivers.” Nope - UO receivers were superior. “OSU has better running backs.” Nope - UO had more rushing yards. “OSU has a better coaching staff.” Nope - OSU was out coached and had more penalties. On and on. OSU didn’t leave any points on the field whereas UO left lots of points on the field. The score could have been much worse. Ryan Day is a very good coach and OSU IS one the best teams in the country. But the truth is that UO was a better team on Saturday. We would better served to just admit it and move on so we can progress.
When are people going to start talking about Wil Howard not being able to throw the ball deep? He's constantly under throwing the deep ball. He finally completed one last week against Iowa and they tackled Smith because Howard under threw that one too. Most of his long passes were from slants or screens taken to the house. All that experience Howard was supposed to have didn't show up on Saturday either. They didn't seem to pressure Gabriel enough either. It's also funny we have all these DBs but QBs always seem to find their receivers in zone coverage. None of the blitzes seem to get there on time either although I don't think they tried more than 3 or 4 of them the whole game. Knowles defense is good at stopping bad and okay offenses but not good enough to stop good ones. Knowles needs to recognize when his front 4 isn't getting enough pressure early enough in the game and start blitzing more often. At least then when the other team makes a good play they had to fight for it.
How did Ohio State lose the game more than Oregon won it? Ohio State was gifted a touchdown on their first drive that should’ve been a turnover. Oregon missed an easy field goal, botched an extra point and missed on a two point conversion.
Understandably there was no pass rush or even quarterback pressures throughout the entire game. That being said, there is no excuse for Ward to be torched that bad. The one play he got burned badly on was a great stop and go on the receivers part. The others he just got beat period. Let's call it what it is. He is not a first round pick in the NFL draft. If he was it possible first round projection that got thrown out the window on Saturday night. Ryan Day has 2 weeks to sort this out. If the rumors are true and there's dissension among the coaching ranks on the defensive side of the ball. Decisions need to be made by Coach Day. There were no stunts at all in this game. That is coach Johnson in a nutshell. The biggest of all problems in my opinion is coach Knowles. His substituted pass rush theory needs to be shut down. There was one play where all four defensive linemen came out of their stance and went backwards while two people came from the back are the defense to rush the quarterback. I think everyone would agree that if this defense plays to its potential, this team will not lose another game. There is still time. But this decision needs to be made before the Nebraska game when it comes to the rift between the defensive coaches.
I think they played a heck of a game. Both offense and defense. Listening to it on OSU broadcast Paul was saying that it look like Jack was getting up set with the officiating crew for not calling holding. I think most teams get away with holding against the buckeyes and pass interference too.
Lol blaming Officiating about the OPI and not bringing up the no review on the INT is absolutely hilarious 😂 also OREGON straight up beat OHIO, OHIO didn't loose the game. OREGON left 11 points on the field and still won 😂😂😂
Zach was so on point on all the comments. Will was a stud in this game. He was told he needed 10-15 yds to be in field goal range. He did everything he could to get those yds! He started the slide with 1 sec left so if the coaches were on the ref for the timeout, maybe on review we could have got a sec back. Would have been a different outcome.
As an Oregon fan. OSU has to fire Ryan Day. You guys clearly had a talent advantage on the field. Coaching was the problem. Never gonna when a national championship when you have a coach that’s 1-7 in the big games
Oregon fan here . This was the biggest game in Eugene as far as I know. This game could've went either way. Officiating Zack you talk about the officiating the last second of the quarterback been down. Why are you not talking about that gifted touchdown in the first drive of a clearer turnover on officiating
Howard played great. They were asking him to be nearly perfect in the last 6 seconds. If any critique I’d say throw a ball somewhere and give somebody a chance and take the TO. Easier said than done but I thought you have to throw it somewhere.
Stop: hyping the team up every year to be invincible gushing about how "talented" the team is underestimating opponents making excuses after losses making absurd, wildly unrealistic predictions the entire culture of this podcast reflects entitlement, comfort and presumption.
Im a huge, lifelong Buckeye fan, and saying this actually hurts. But when are fans going to realize this....WE JUST ARE NOT TALENTED ENOUGH TO WIN A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. PERIOD. Just because everyone came back for their senior year, doesn't mean that the talent level changed. It's still the same senior class that has yet to beat Michigan, gave up 42 to Georgia, and has LOST every big game they've EVER PLAYED IN. This team will without a doubt, without a question, lose at Penn St, which knocks them out of the BIG10 championship game. However, they still might make the playoffs, but it will FOR SURE be one and done. This team cant hang with any of the Great teams in the country. They'd get beat by Oregon, Penn St, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, LSU, Miami, Clemson and probably Boise St. No way this defense could stop or slow down that RB. We're just not good enough. So much for this $20 million roster lol. Only Ryan Day and the Buckeyes could blow this situation.
@@chrisl507lmfaoooo Ohio States defense is ass Oregon allowed 31 at there stadium, two very overrated teams who couldnt stop a runny nose. Texas is gonna skull fuck either team 🤣. Thats okay though Oregon already won there natty, thats why they rushed the field 😂
I said this same stuff after we played Marshall. If it wasn't for them losing their QB you would of seen what I seen but your listeners said I was wrong. I seen it.
I’m a lifelong osu fan. That said, what we are saying about the pi on Jeremiah smith, though perhaps technically correct, is not normally called in that situation. That is what Miami fans said in 2002.
With all the ups and downs that happened to both teams throughout the game, it ultimately came down to Kelly and Day failing to do what 99.999999% of experienced coaches would've done with 34 seconds left on the clock, having reached the ORE 28: get your big-boy package in there, run the ball with your trusted backs for several plays, bleed the clock, then make an easy, GW-ing, 35-yd FG, a gimme. OSU gets out of Dodge with a 34-32 win. After JJ Smith's OPI, the play-by-play commentator said all OSU needs to do is get to the ORE 30, failing to mention OSU had been even closer than that three plays prior, but Kelly and Day inexplicably kept passing instead of putting the ball on the ground and ground-and-pounding.
It's tiring being so good but not quite good enough to get the job done. Seems like we've been here for a decade now. The glaring issues have to be addressed. No more waiting around. Cut bait.
It's going to be Ohio State vs Oregon is the B1G TItle game. The addition of the teams to the conference really makes it like the SEC over many years. Lose a reg season game, meet them with bigger stakes in the conference title game with a little story line involved :) After the Rival is taken out. BOTH OF THEM! Penn St and tttun.
Nebraskas QB will have the game of his career vs osu. Love to see what nick saban could do with this roster. We need this bye week to figure out the left tackle situation along with defense
the biggest problem that I have heard no one say anything about it. Not that Howard didn't get down in time. It's how did they let the clock get down to 10 secs ? 30 seconds ran off the clock after the PI with no one noticing until Howard caught it at 10 seconds?
Same issues as the past 3 seasons, same results to come. All the seniors on the defensive side that came back to help their draft stock or to win a chip let the whole team down, and it’s not the first time it’s happened with these guys. Jim Knowles and Larry Johnson both need to be on the hot seat
we can blame the Dline all we want, how long was it from snap to release? 1st half was the worst zone coverage I have ever seen. 3 0r 4 deep with underneath getting no depth, that equals windows as big as barn doors. Then they get chewed out and start manning up, so they get caught on their heels wanting to jump routes and get burned on double moves.
Sometimes we see offensive coordinators call on players for specific roles/plays, but yet on defense we generally limit that substitution to a "rushmen package" or a "nickle or dime substitution." How come we never see a specific DL and LB substitution where they are sent into run a specific stunt or blitz on defense? Where is the creativity?
I dont think that anyone else on OSU schedule is capable of doing what Oregon did... I'm not sure they could do it again... that isnt my main concern going forward. My worry is that the OL will struggle because of the issues at LT. Something on the DL has to change they absolutely MUST get pressure If you have to bring more you have to live with the consequences but this lack of getting to the QB is SURE way to lose
Coaching blew it in the end. On the Oregon 28 yard line, 34 seconds left and one time out... No run? What about spread them out... then draw??? Kick the FG from the 20-25 yard line. That said... the defense was atrocious. The Oregon OL stoned our DL and rush. Total garbage.
Oregon's offense is killer good. They are dangerous in space. Our defense has to learn how to shut down an offense of this caliber. There are not many of this quality in the country...maybe Texas, Tennessee (on a good day), maybe UGA, and perhaps a few others. If our defense can get better an shutting down offenses of this caliber than we can win it all in the end. But our secondary was exposed. Is it speed? Is it scheme? We definitely need more pressure on the QBs.
The muffed snap was big. Up six with a conversion on 3rd and 3 and they likely go up two scores. Was huge... Last drive he just missed JJ down the side line. A little more accurate and easy score and win. Didn't miss by much.
Oregon has three tough games remaining in the regular season. They could lose any or several of them. I'm not worried about the Buckeyes. It was a one point loss, and they always give 100 % Go Buckeyes !
The offensive lines were going to determine this game. Oregon offensive line outplayed the OSU offensive line. Coaches lost all confidence in the O line to help them make a play. First down at the 28 yrd line with 34 seconds left and a time out and you don't run the ball at least two more times to get to the 20 yard line? The kicker had already made a 40 plus field goal in this game. Instead you pass the ball and get an OPI. If the coaches would have had confidence in the O line, they would have ran the ball and iced this game. The Oregon O line won this game for them. They neutralized the DL line and it allowed Gabriel to cook.
Defense was not great but they gave OSU the ball with 1:47 and a time out down by 1.. We should have won this game. If they run the ball at the end, set up the FG, we win.
If you are going to call out the PI which I agree was questionable and shouldn’t have been called in that stage of the game…you have also got to acknowledge the interception that wasn’t called on Ohio States opening drive. Some bad calls on both sides. It was a wash…
So by your guys’ logic Oregon, Georgia, Bama defenses all need come to Jesus moments too right? They’ve all given up 30 plus points in big games. In this game along Oregon defense gave up pretty much the same amount of yards OSU’s did. Crazy how 1 point makes one team elite and the other with “issues” 2 great teams played a great game and the home team scored 1 more point
Honestly, I dont think Oregon is playing at an elite level. Not yet. Oregon and Ohio State both have things to work on. I think Ohio State has a higher ceiling than does Oregon, but right now I don't have much confidence in the coaching to make the changes needed. Really disappointed in Knowles/Johnson and this defensive line. With how they play defense, it feels like they're making it harder than it needs to be, like they're playing with one hand tied behind their back. The lack of stunts and twists up front, along with a coordinated blitz, make them easy to block. It feels like they're trying to win on talent alone instead of using a coordinated attack.
I understand the defense gave up points but at the end of the day this is college football every elite defense has given up points in big games. Uga had one of the best defenses that year they had all those draft picks and gave up hella to Alabama then the next year gave up 40 to Ohio state. When elite defense plays elite offense in college ball the offense usually wins
Why are Austin and Zach ignoring the obvious? I seriously question their BuckIQ. This has absolutely nothing to do with JJ Smith's OPI or with Will Howard running the ball on the last play. (Btw, the clock had not reach zero before he'd given himself up.) The reason why OSU lost is because Kelly and Day failed to run the ball after reaching the ORE 28. ORE did not win the game; OSU lost it, or rather Kelly and Day did. Kelly and Day should've run the ball after reaching the ORE 28, bled the clock, then had Fielding, who'd successfully kicked a 40-yd FG earlier in the game, kick an even more makeable 30- or 35-yd, GW-ing FG. Game over. Game won. Job done. Why did Kelly and Day not do what 99.99999999% of competent coaches have and would've done without even thinking about it?
Oregon left at least 10 points on the field. Ohio St was gifted a bad call when the refs didnt give Oregon the clear interception early in the game
Spare me! Go cheer for Texas. They are ranked NO.1 😎
Officials missed 4 holding calls on Oregon and that Pass Interference call on Smith near the end was sketchy. OSU lost 10 points also

NFL caliber players don't play like that
LJ needs to retire asap
Glad Zach asked why you wouldn't put Matthews in for a series just to try and get Burke right, he clearly got in his head and was too busy trying to make a splash.
SEASON IS NOT OVER GO BUCKEYES HATS OFF TO THE DUCKS HOPE WE SEE THEM AGAIN
I believe in them. I hope they all take the pain of this loss, learn from it and build.
Why is Day nit laying into Knowles?! THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE! We have all the talent in the world. The defensive performance in every single big game is unacceptable
Our 5 big games under Knowles we got abused by big plays. That's the issue that needs tweeked
It wasn’t OPI.
Most certainly not OPI, such a soft claim
I say again they have RAN the ball after the Ebuka catch...Run ur best running play get close as u can call time out and kicked the field goal.. at least we would have got a chance to kick the field goal...but to lose without even getting a chance hurts
My personal opinion is the defense is lost and not in sync which is mainly between Johnson and Knowles two old coaches that may be past their time
Johnson needs to retire for sure. His units vanish in talent equated games.
I do question whether Knowles has full buy in from the rest of the staff, I feel like Day wants Knowles to take control because that is his guy. Not sure if that is happening behind the scenes.
Totally agree
You realize Oregon gave up 470 yards. Alabama and Georgia gave up 500+ yards each when they played. Are all these defenses lost and not in sync, or is this just college football in big games?
@UncleRicoOSU this has happened to OSU since Knowles came here
@@heidelbergdawg6934but all great “elite” defenses give up yards and points.
Zach is 100% right and giving up big plays is unacceptable!!
Go Bucks!
Ohio State has an Oregon problem.
The only real concern I have is Josh Simmons. Nothing else has changed.
Those Buckeyes DE ends are not as good as people are telling them ...Late draft picks at best ...It's in the results like it or not

FACT!
James L. Has skated all season with the play of the LBs. Sonny got abused in the run game and Knowles called a bad game
Will Howard didn't give up 32 points
I thought the TE had it sliding. He was down. LB got it after he was down.

@@mychalowens127 yes it does. If one player is down, say, he fell down, is untouched, he can catch the ball. If TWO guys are battling, it's different. Burke was beat 3 times on 3rd and long. Period.
With this defense,I think beating Michigan is the reason for the season now.

Dear Buckeye fans, if we hit a field goal at the end and won, you will still have felt almost as bad…the D let this team down. So the task is the same learn and move on, all the teams goals are still out there to be had.
Sports are always full of ifs.... if this , if that..... There are lots of bad calls that went against Oregon as well

It's true

Zach is 100 percent right. RJT OSU 66 (Veteran).

Look what Northwestern and Purdue did on Saturday.
Ward needs to start respecting other teams. OSU isn't as good as we thought.
we can blame the Dline all we want, how long was it from snap to release?
What about the first drive where bassa clearly gets the interception and didn't even look at it
Wasn’t Jim Leonard available when OSU hired Knowles?
Coaching blew it in the end. On the Oregon 28 yard line, 34 seconds left and one time out... No run? What about spread them out... then draw??? Kick the FG from the 20-25 yard line. That said... the defense was atrocious. The Oregon OL stoned our DL and rush. Total garbage.
The defense needs to be more aggressive
I blame Jim K. That’s where we need to start good players are there. Looks to me there was no planning
D had no pass rush secondary was takin apart. To many turnovers and clock management gaffs.
Word is Knowles isn't able to run his full defense scheme because of Larry Johnson. I would like to see this Jack position used...
I know one thing, a lot of these returning players are not getting a 1st round phone calls.
So by your guys’ logic Oregon, Georgia, Bama defenses all need come to Jesus moments too right? They’ve all given up 30 plus points in big games.
In this game along Oregon defense gave up pretty much the same amount of yards OSU’s did.
Crazy how 1 point makes one team elite and the other with “issues”
2 great teams played a great game and the home team scored 1 more point
You guys keep saying the D line starters need to stay in the game. If they were doing so well, they would be if they could get a four and out.
People that know what is going on say better players sure not being played enough
Backs are against the wall now yet again. Like every season.

You spend a lot of money to lose in such an unbelievable way. 20 million dollar roster, and you the top taken off that lauded secondary.
That first drive was a fluke should’ve been an interception and Oregon’s ball. The better team won this game.
