I have PMLE (Polymorphous light eruption), sunlight allergy, and while I couldn't be out for the actual eclipse, as it was ending I had to step outside and it definitely felt different. The sun didn't hurt as badly. It was kinda nice hahaha.

Hey Tim and Jenn! Thought about you when I was in SC for the area of totality for the eclipse. It was amazing and during the time of totality there was the most amazing on fire glow on the horizon all around. Just outside the circle of Shadow it was a 360° sunset and was breathtaking. You've got to plan on being in the area of totality in April 2024, you won't regret it!

I was in the line of totality! Literally the line was a half a mile from my house!!! It got dark and I videoed it on my phone. Neighbors shot fireworks. It was amazing!!!! People from all over the world were in our city (they wore tshirts stating what state they were from and that they were here for the totality). Loved your snacks! So cute!!!!!!!!

Hey Tim and Jen! Would you consider doing a video on the Epcot "4 to Close" pass? Maybe do a video showing how to get the most of out of the time at Epcot for those of us who have this type of pass? Usually all the fast pass are taken and we have a hard time doing what we want to do. Thanks so much for the great videos!

I experienced the total eclipse at home in 1999. it's something you don't forget.
It really only gets dark when the sun is fully covered. It gets windy and it's a very special light. The birds stop singing. Then suddenly the wind stops. The corona is radiant and extremely beautiful. If you have a chance to see it in 7 years go see the total eclipse

I’m just now seeing this but I live in the town dubbed eclipseville because it was the best viewing point for the eclipse. Scientists were here and a ton of people came into town. It’s a small town too so it was fun to see how many people showed up. Our town even added a bunch of new stores and updates to prepare for it.
It’s neat to see what others saw. My favorite part was during the total eclipse you could watch with your bare eyes and see all of these blue looking flares all around the circle. It was really neat. I highly recommend trying to see the total eclipse next time if you are able to travel somewhere where you will see it. Love your channel!

We went to an eclipse party at our local library. They had eclipse glasses which we had to share because so many people were there, and they had a telescope with a special lens. I can't emphasise enough how different the experience is in totality! Was lucky enough to see it in Devon, the UK in 1999 although it was cloudy. But the feeling at darkness when the ocean waves went flat, the birds stopped singing, it was something else!
Fortunately Ill get to see it again in 6 years time and the joys of now living in Australia means it's v unlikely to be cloudy😎
Happy eclipse 2017 guys and thank you for your brilliant coverage!

Here in England we had a total eclipse back on 20th march 2015. It was amazing. We made viewers out of cereal box and the children at school went out into playground and looked into viewer in the cardboard box ( they had their backs to the sun!). So they didnt look upto the Sun. Really good way of seeing it. 😎

It was incredible and felt super weird! I think the next full eclipse by you guys is in the 2040s. Pretty neat! Oh and with it being in totality, you could take your glasses off because it was safe. My husband and I live in Louisville and we traveled to the Hopkinsville/ Kelly, Kentucky area where we saw the eclipse in 100% totality. It is a completely different experience, it's freaking amazing! It looks like a 360 degree sunset. And we saw planet Venus in the night sky. Incredible experience!

Tim, smart decision going to the beach as the Eclipse does affect the tides. When the next one hits Houston I'm going to drive to Galveston to watch it and see how low the tides is.

Arkansas will have totality. You guys can come and set up at my church that I pastor. It has a lot of open space. Love watching your vlogs!

I'm sorry you guys couldn't see the whole experience for the 100 % totality. You guys MUST try for the next one to get somewhere to view it! What an experience!! We live in Lincoln, Nebraska so we were lucky enough to be able to get 100% totality here for almost 2 minutes! my little boy Miles and I who is 4 went to a park we have here in town. Just seeing his reaction was something I will never forget. Something I will hold in my memory bank forever! I hope you both get the chance to see it! your empty beach looked beautiful too!!

I live in North GA. In my area we got 98%. It was cool. The cicadas and crickets came out and were making a lot of noise and it was like sunset. We had a lot of traffic going about an hour North of us where the path of totality went. It was really neat from where we were.
