new show idea: Tim walking around random places and pointing out things he sees. not theme parks, just around town or wherever. I just find his commentary really entertaining and funny.
shock games the first time we went on simpsons my daughter backed out she thought it was a real rollercoaster and she thought the staff were saying it wasn't to get unsuspecting guests to ride 😂😂😂😂 she still hasn't lived that one down mmewwaaahhh
Don't worry Tim, you are not the only one with a sweating problem. I always feel the same way, and i was also born and raised in FL. Every time I used to step out my shirt quickly became wet and face is dotted in sweat while everyone else is dry.
Wow Tim I want to thank you for your dedication to the trackees for all over your coverage of logistics of coming to Orlando that vloggers usually don't cover. Especially in August! With this walk and commentary and also the resort info recently with Coronado and Caribbean resorts thank you very much ! Stay hydrate my friend !
I did the tour at the Hard Rock Cafe in March of 2016 and it was cool. They took our group up to the Lennon Room. The piano isn't actually a Lennon piano but the keys are signed by various artists. The white suit that Lennon wore across Abbey Road is displayed there as well as a couch that was in Lennon's Kenwood house. Our group also go to go out on the balcony over Hard Rock Live.
I watched this with my Mom last night and as someone who knows the Orlando area very well, she started yelling at you when you were crossing the street!! "Oh no he's NOT crossing that street!! He knows he can get run over right?" Thanks for keeping us entertained! Glad you got to and from Universal safely!
Tim! You, sir, are a true champion. To do this is above and beyond the call of duty for your viewers. Not everyone can afford the on-property hotels, and for you to show those on a budget this type of thing is why you are a tremendous person, and why you and Jenn are my favorite vloggers, by far. :-)
My daughter is so disappointed to have missed you. We just stayed at the Hilton across the street from Universal and walked that path many times the past 4 days. Enjoy watching your videos.
We walk from our hotel on I Drive to Universal every time we go. We usually stay at hotels just up from Wet and Wild. It's actually a pretty safe and quick walk. Never had any issues.
Michelle Belden I was thinking the same, especially if you are not used to walking in heat/have some small young children or not used to walking for long periods of time or distance. After two near car misses, that's two too many for me.
Thank you for this video! The walk seems so short, I'm from NYC and a half an hour walk is regular for me, so this is perfect. And this really helps because we're booking hotels soon!
I really appreciate you making this video. Very nice of you to walk when you didn't have to just because your viewers were interested in the walking distance. Videos like this are why I love this channel. 😊
my daily routine ... shower, brush my teeth, eat, watch the trackers ..... my day is not complete without the trackers ... ding dang thanks you trackers for making my day awesome
So true, driving in the area in the summer is an exercise in sanity. It's like people have never driven in their lives when the get to Orlando... I need to learn the back roads around the universal and Disney areas.
Orlando needs to build a couple of Las Vegas-style pedestrian overpasses to cross those big streets. Or maybe Universal can build them to access their property.
I used to live around the Orlando area and would go to Universal every other weekend. Now I live in Ohio and your videos bring me back and make me experience the joy every time. I truly thank you for making these videos. They mean a lot to me and to many others. Keep doing what you're doing ; )
Tim, my husband and I always watch your vlogs together and we love it! It has become a thing for us. We watch your vlogs and remember the amazing trip we took to Orlando two years ago. We definitely want to go back and your videos help us keep up with what's new at the parks! Love you and Jen! And Bandit, of course! Much love from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil!
FOR THE I-TROLLEY: you have to go into walgreens (by the starbucks Tim passed) to get a ticket. they also have one day passes and even 3-5 day passes VERY HELPFUL FOR PEOPLE WHO FLEW TO ORLANDO
I walked that same walk on our honeymoon from double tree!!! It's fun to see Tim walk that same walk :) the walk wasn't that bad at all, after the day it was a little harder being tired and hot, but it was worth it to save money because when you do stay at double tree you do have to pay 15 bucks a day to park your car because the land is still owned by universal. So it's your choice on how you want to spend money! Thanks @TheTimTracker I love watching you and Jenn so so so much!
BTW, double tree does offer a shuttle, but it stops at other hotels and fills up fast and doesn't let you get there early and stops earlier then the park closes
Back in 2007 I went to the Hard Rock in Orlando. I was looking at a guitar with my family when this guy came up behind us and started telling us about it. He ended up taking us on a backstage tour for free! We saw John Lennon's replica apartment that has a couch in it the Beatles sat on and the piano Tim was talking about. We also say the stage where they have private concerts and the green room where every artist that has been there signs the wall! It was incredible!
Tim right after you cross S. Kirkman road by the Holiday Inn and TGI Friday's. You can take a left turn and walk into the parking garage. You will get shade, and if you head to the back, you also have the moving walkways that either speed up your walk, or save your legs. I stayed at that Holiday Inn, and after taking the same walking path the first day, we started cutting through the garage. It saved us considerable time, and also gave us shade.
Hey Tim! This past spring break I stayed at the Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando over by the convention center. That hotel is a "universal partner hotel" and has buses similar to the ones the on site hotels have! Only annoying part is there's certain times that you have to abide by as it stops running to the parks at about 4:30 pm and stops running back to the hotel from city walk at about 10pm. But the best part is this service was free! Had to pick up some other hotel guests on the way but I highly recommend this if you're thinking about an offsite hotel!
LOL about you being sweaty. I was in the parks over the weekend and couldn't help but notice I wasn't sweating that much. But it was HOT! Also Kong was the only ride I waited more than 20 minutes for all weekend (about 2 hours). Thanks for your videos they are a huge help!
Thoroughly enjoyed following along on your walk. I will be down in March 2018, but for the first time, I will be in a wheel chair confinement, so I will decline to take a walk with you, but instead will stay at the Cabana Bay, still thanks for demonstrating that the walk is manageable for my brother and his family. If I should happen to see you when I am down, will be glad to roll around with you! Keep up the Vlogs! P.S. I've noted down you PO Box so I can send you some postcards when I go!
Doubletree by universal is less than a 20 minute walk to gate, walk is along a nice path by the river and rooms are cheap but nice quality! Honestly cant beat it! Edit. Oh he walked passed it on the way back!, I commented too soon!
Hi Tim we usually stay on I-drive. Last year we stayed at Rosen Inn at Pointe which is down by Ripleys and the convention centre . We didn't bother hiring a car and used uber and our feet instead. We found it easy. We used the I ride trolley up to wet and wild then walked over to universal boulevard and into universal ......no problems. The I ride also goes to the malls and sea world. We are from the uk and enjoy walking . At the moment we are on the Pembrokeshire coast yesterday we walked 11 miles on the coastal path. Back to Florida next year to Sanibel can't wait. Great vlog. 👍
My husband and I always walk from the I-drive. There is a sidewalk on the bridge, it's a pretty long walk though but no need to pay extra for an uber or w/e =)
I loved taking the trolley! I used to take it all the time to Universal when I was a CP at Disney. It would take me from Orlando Premium Outlets up to a stop that's just behind the Friday's across from Universal. Still a little ways of a walk, but if you have any work ID from the area the ride is only a quarter each way! I think typically it runs about $2 one way. They're super nice inside and they even decorate the interior during Christmas!
YES you must see Saw! LOL There is even a new Saw moving coming out. Wheew! Nice Walk Tim! Thanks for leaving the "We Parked over here at the.." Clips Jenn. too funny.
Ding dang! We just missed you by a few minutes in City Walk yesterday!! Lol! We stayed in that DoubleTree for one night before we checked into the Royal Pacific.
I have some requests/suggestions: Reviews of the Disney sit-down restaurants Stay a night in each hotel and review A twice a month or so look at the new merch in the park More vlog videos in the parks at night
I agree, those are great suggestions. I'd love to see more of the in park merchandise but I believe the stock doesn't change that frequently. Around the holidays there's a lot of new stuff, and Tim and Jenn do a great job of covering those changes, but there's rarely anything new unless there's an event.
I am gonna politely disagree with Tim on walking from I-Drive to Universal, I used to work at Pirate's Dinner Adventure on Carrier and I-Drive and have walked the Overpass over I4 to get to Universal from I-Drive many times, there is a walkway the WHOLE way there! AND there are walk signals the entire way, its a lot safer than you might think. So if you are at a hotel on I-Drive near the "Whirley Dome" or "Titanic Experience" or the multi level Go-Kart track you are at a safely walkable distance (In my opinion). I give those landmarks because I-Drive is a lot longer than people from out of town might think. People think "I am on I-Drive, I am close to all the theme parks" which, in an sense you are, but not all of I-Drive is "walkable" to all the theme parks, I live on the south part of I-Drive and it takes me 15 minutes to get to SeaWorld, but it would still take a couple hours to walk the entire way to Universal.
You and Jenn should do a video where you talk about the stuff you always skip at Disney and Universal as well as the stuff you try and make sure you always do! :)
I'll be at disney this week, and looking for that mustache. My wife and I love your vlog, and our son can't wait for the disney junior show after your video.
I stayed at the Best Western that was across from the Wet n Wild (when it existed!) and bought a weekly trolley pass to use, in addition to the hotel shuttle. The trolley driver actually informed us that we could just walk down I Drive to get there. (He was a little snooty about it too. Buddy, we'll be doing enough driving, do yo job.) The trolley was nice, and inexpensive, though we did have to walk from the nearest stop, which was basically across the road. It's an option at least!
Hey tim! Im currently staying in orlando on holiday and have to thank you for recommending some amazing restraunts, we have a Gluten free member in our group and we found Krusty Burger and cowfish amazing for it! Thanks man!
10 minutes from the hotel park across Kirkman and from the main entrance to the park (i.e. Double Tree). We've stayed at the Holiday Inn & Suites the last 2 times we've gone. It's such an easy walk to and from the park, not to mention you save lots of money! Also, go to the VALET ENTRANCE. It's never busy and you can walk right in and miss the crowds from the main round security entrance!
Oh man, you are a strong dude. Walking in the Florida heat plus Florida traffic?? Please, I like you and Jen too much for you to take your life in your hands. 😰😁
I just know I'll be watching these videos right up till I'm in the airport on the 17th waiting for my flight out! I'm such a scary cat too so HHN is gonna terrify me 😂
I walked from I-Drive to Universal four days last month. No problem. Sidewalks, barriers, walking lights. Felt totally safe. About 20 minutes. And you go “over” I4 on an overpass. You don’t have to cross it. Dumps you right at the bottom of the escalators to security.
Tim!!!!! Thank you so much for pointing out Soupa Saiyan!!!!!! My family is absolutely going to eat there when we go....You just made a (somewhat moody) 17 year old very excited and happy!! I bet you can guess what show he enjoys ;)
I think is rather save the time of walking to universal and just get a taxi for the cost of like 5 dollars and get on 2 more rides lol great video tim!
Man i wish i saw you, i'm visiting from miami and have bin on that road. Staying over at the shingle creek resort, man keep up the great work and some day maybe ill get lucky and get a chance to meet you. Thanks for everything you and jenn do!
Back in 2013 I stayed at that Holiday Inn with the TGIF and I walked everyday to Citywalk. It took 15 minutes from the moment I left my room to the entrance to either UStudios or IOA but I did have an older person with me (mom was 72 at the time). Now that we stay at Royal Pacific I still do the walk back to hit that Walgreens right next where Tim's showed that Starbucks but we can back with our goodies.
This is a very informative video. Thank you!! I'd like to see a video tour of the Saratoga Springs Resort and the walking path to Disney Springs from there.
Mr. Tim, every year there is a Central Florida koi and goldfish show in Orlando, and next year would be the second year being located at that Double Tree hotel (location may change). The show is held during spring break (march 9-11) every year, hope you come by sometimes. Its known as the biggest koi and goldfish show in the states, with people bringing koi at the cost of around $1k -20k
So I just wanted to say that my sister and I have commented on how both you and Jenn always look extremely cool and fresh whenever you're at the parks. We are from NY so whenever we've gone to Florida during the hotter months, we feel like gross sweaty pigs haha! What I'm saying is, you guys always look cool in both senses of the word! 8D
The I-Ride trolley is great if staying on International Drive. Week passes are around $10 and it takes you between the outlets at either end of Orlando going up I-Drive and dropping off at Sea world and Aquatica
Finally IP = Intellectual property, and Tim your not alone in sweating, I defy anyone to walk around Universal and not be a tad moist lol, but hey your at Universal it's worth it! Great work keep up the fantastic vids, Universal should think of you as friend not an enemy, your information is invaluable!
Omg! I felt so bad for all of your hard work in this vlog because I laughed at how nonchalant you were when you almost got ran over! I'm a terrible fan:(! People are crazy (especially ones with tiny kiddos) who want to walk this 2 mi before the park! Too exhausting! In such heat and in heavy traffic. Yikes heat stroke. Or even getting mugged. Or worse.
I love how dedicated you are to your subscribers! I bet walking in this hot Florida heat & humidity can't be easy. Also, as a Florida resident myself, the Junior Colombian Burger on OBT is very good as well as Chalos which is similar & right across the street. My suggestion is to try their hotdog & burger 🙂
This video is really helpful an informative! One more tip - check to make sure your hotel has a shuttle service before you hoof it! We stayed at that hotel (Wingate/Windham) in Feb 2014 and they had a very convenient shuttle that we used often. Also, if you happen to be a FL resident parking at CityWalk/Parks is free after 7pm I think?
I did walk from I-drive to Universal and it wasn't bad. One day I did it alone and I felt very safe. There were other people also walking especially at the end of the nite. The sidewalk on the overpass bridge was no trouble at all.
We stayed at ramada plaza inn and suites on international drive, we walked to universal every time it took us 14 mins to walk we didn't find crossing international drive road a problem, myself husband and 3 children . I would definitely recommend walking from there also saves $20 on parking too 😁 Xx
I would LOVE to see a tour of Portofino Bay. That's one of the hotels I'm considering staying at and it's be really great to see it from your expert eyes. ❤❤❤
A little tip about the butterfly garden--you don't have to walk through it, you can stay on the regular pathway and go around. However, it is definitely a short cut if you go through the garden...so not only is it beautiful, but your also saving time!
The first saw is the best one because it has more of a back story to why those 2 guys are in the restroom with their legs chained. All the other movies is just about the games and the traps.
fyi - The Vibe Tour is available daily from 2:30 to 8:30, barring any special events. Thanks for the suggestion Tim, I will doing this at the end of the month. - Todd - from "When The Walls Came Down on Kong" day ...
Used to live in that area. I think it's closer and easier to walk up Vineland to the north entrance of the property and walk to Hard Rock Hotel where you can either take the path or boat. About 20 minutes walk time.
We stayed on I drive at the beginning of the year. You can get a pass for the green trolley thing that goes up I drive and it drops you outside the Hilton and you just walk along the pedestrian walkway. Doesn't take too long and is dead cheap!
new show idea: Tim walking around random places and pointing out things he sees. not theme parks, just around town or wherever.
I just find his commentary really entertaining and funny.
Simpsons is my favourite area there because that's where I saw you back in 2013. Love to go back
shock games the first time we went on simpsons my daughter backed out she thought it was a real rollercoaster and she thought the staff were saying it wasn't to get unsuspecting guests to ride 😂😂😂😂 she still hasn't lived that one down mmewwaaahhh
You walk
It's our favourite area too.
its probably the area I spent the most money on
lucky man I would love to go back one day and see him.
You sir are one brave soul. Walking the streets of Orlando is like a real live FROGGER game.

How cool would it have been to be sitting in your car only to see Tim walk past you? haha!
We walk from our hotel on I Drive to Universal every time we go. We usually stay at hotels just up from Wet and Wild. It's actually a pretty safe and quick walk. Never had any issues.
Very good idea. Feel exhausted watching you!!! I think after day in the parks that would be a walk too far for me
Michelle Belden I was thinking the same, especially if you are not used to walking in heat/have some small young children or not used to walking for long periods of time or distance.
After two near car misses, that's two too many for me.
I used to walk this path every day in high school, this is my old neighborhood. This brings back memories Tim!
All hotels are walkable! The question is do you want to walk all the way back after a long day in the park. XD
Interesting idea. Not seen this done before and well done for walking all that way to give all your viewers this advice.
"I almost got hit by two cars, not too bad"
So true, driving in the area in the summer is an exercise in sanity. It's like people have never driven in their lives when the get to Orlando... I need to learn the back roads around the universal and Disney areas.
He was so nonchalant. Very hilarious. And dangerous. I do feel bad for laughing.

Stayed at that Fairfield hotel once. It was nice and super close to the parks! Awesome video as always!
Yes watch Saw!! The traps are awesome! Can't wait to see what gets incorporated from all the movies for Horror Nights 😝
My husband and I always walk from the I-drive. There is a sidewalk on the bridge, it's a pretty long walk though but no need to pay extra for an uber or w/e =)
Tim and Jen, I am from Brazil, and I watch your videos every day! Awesome videos
You should get a cooling towel they work amazing when hot at theme parks!!

Awesome video Tim. I loved the experiment video to see the distance from the hotels. Keep up the great work
putting in work today, Tim! I can't wait till it starts cooling down.
I have some requests/suggestions:
Reviews of the Disney sit-down restaurants
Stay a night in each hotel and review
A twice a month or so look at the new merch in the park
More vlog videos in the parks at night
OSheaPunk Great idea! I remember them saying something about staying in and vlogging the hotels.
OSheaPunk he should do those things I would like to see that
I think they've stated a few times that they don't care for any of the restaurants at the Disney resorts.
I agree, those are great suggestions. I'd love to see more of the in park merchandise but I believe the stock doesn't change that frequently. Around the holidays there's a lot of new stuff, and Tim and Jenn do a great job of covering those changes, but there's rarely anything new unless there's an event.
not really true, its just that tim cant get a burger in a sit down restaurant.
I was the one that yelled at you at Hollywood studios on Sat!! great vids keep up the great work
I am gonna politely disagree with Tim on walking from I-Drive to Universal, I used to work at Pirate's Dinner Adventure on Carrier and I-Drive and have walked the Overpass over I4 to get to Universal from I-Drive many times, there is a walkway the WHOLE way there! Wow thats a long walk to Universal Tim the weather looks really nice my friend its rude though how drivers dont even slow down.
You and Jenn should do a video where you talk about the stuff you always skip at Disney and Universal as well as the stuff you try and make sure you always do! :)
This was excellent! We're coming 2 weeks from today for our FIRST universal experience! Cannot wait!!
If you haven't watched more than Saw, definitely watch them all! In order too - they are all kind of connected. They make you think and say oh crap!
I saw the universal logo I clicked and screamed because I miss universal sm😩!!!!
I'll be at disney this week, and looking for that mustache. My wife and I love your vlog, and our son can't wait for the disney junior show after your video.

Thankyou for doing that Tim-I'm sure a lot of people would have found that really useful 👍😀
Vlogging / Reviewing while staying at various Park Hotels would be awesome!
"almost got hit by two cars, which isn't that bad. I was sure I was gonna get almost hit by four" tim "the stuntman" tracker
Staying up until 12:41am is worth it to watch another vlog!
I stayed in that Hampton Inn before, and have done the walk over I4. It's actually pretty nice either way walking in - and much more affordable!
10 minutes from the hotel park across Kirkman and from the main entrance to the park (i.e. Double Tree). We've stayed at the Holiday Inn & Suites the last 2 times we've gone. It's such an easy walk to and from the park, not to mention you save lots of money!

Tim, when you said "fish show".. I was so excited, but then completely disappointed that it wasn't an actual "phish show" concert. Maybe 1 day.
Inside the bathroom by the Barney store, everything is tiny and they have creepy paintings
Lol
Spazatron 98 really? I feel so gullible 😂
I got spooked
I just know I'll be watching these videos right up till I'm in the airport on the 17th waiting for my flight out! I'm such a scary cat too so HHN is gonna terrify me 😂
I will say, the Will Call Kiosks at Universal are Great! In my experience they are easy to use and there's very little if any wait.
I walked from I-Drive to Universal four days last month. No problem. Sidewalks, barriers, walking lights. Felt totally safe. About 20 minutes. And you go “over” I4 on an overpass. You don’t have to cross it. Dumps you right at the bottom of the escalators to security.
i do a hell of a lot of walking here in the U.K so thats nice to know just over half hour to walk to the studios.
Tim!!!!! Thank you so much for pointing out Soupa Saiyan!!!!!! My family is absolutely going to eat there when we go....You just made a (somewhat moody) 17 year old very excited and happy!! I bet you can guess what show he enjoys ;)
Very helpful video. Thanks! Love watching you guys!
I think is rather save the time of walking to universal and just get a taxi for the cost of like 5 dollars and get on 2 more rides lol great video tim!
Man we miss you by one day Tim thanks for your videos
You've done your work out for the day! I couldn't do that walk on a hot day after a long day in the parks.
I believe the I-Ride use to go up and down international drive. We used it back in 2008 and it cost a dollar each. Well worth it!
Or worse.
Expanding on the suggestions, I think an Iride tour would be a really interesting vlog or two.
I think a vlog of you taking the i trolley would be really helpful for tourists if you are looking for suggestions! :)
fyi - The Vibe Tour is available daily from 2:30 to 8:30, barring any special events.
I stayed at the Double Tree for a Technology Student Association competition twice and it was really cool
Juniors is one of the best burger places you have to try them out. such a great mom and pop shops
3:17 I stayed there when I came to Florida in 2015
We stayed on I drive at the beginning of the year. You can get a pass for the green trolley thing that goes up I drive and it drops you outside the Hilton and you just walk along the pedestrian walkway. Doesn't take too long and is dead cheap!
Junior Colombian Burger is amazing...so is Super Rico downtown. Two of my favorite places.
That was a workout Tim!! Nice vlog
